We had made an appointment and arrived a little early (after mistakenly going to the old mall location first). Despite that, we only waited about 5 minutes before we were greeted and helped by J.T. Our visit was to replace our son's phone and see if there was any way to save money on our monthly Verizon bill. Not only did J.T. help us with both, but he went above and beyond. He took the time to clearly explain everything we didn't understand, adjusted a few things on our plan, and walked us through new promotions that applied to our son's phone upgrade. J.T. is incredibly detail-oriented -- it's honestly impressive. He didn't just breeze through things or throw a pile of paperwork into a bag and send us on our way. He reviewed every single change with us, made sure we understood each adjustment, and followed up to ensure we were satisfied. He even resolved a few issues we hadn't planned on addressing -- that's how thorough and proactive he is! Verizon Management: if you're reading this, you need to double this guy's salary. Seriously. He's a rare talent. If you're a Verizon customer, do yourself a favor and make an appointment -- it will save you time and ensure you're taken care of. If you're not a Verizon customer yet, their customer service alone (especially with people like J.T. on the team) is a great reason to switch -- not to mention their excellent coverage. But it turned out to be a 5-star experience for sure! First things first, the store is super conveniently located at Sunset Square shopping center, with plenty of parking and other businesses nearby if you're running errands. The store itself is modern, well-lit, and contains some cool gadgets you can play with while waiting your turn. I checked in at the main counter and, within about 10 minutes, a really cool dude named Kevin was assisting. My request was pretty simple, but he didn't rush or make me feel like an idiot for coming all the way to the store for help. He walked me through the process, discussed some different pricing options, and showed me all the notes he was making in my account to verify the change. He was very thorough - showing me that he not only knows his job well, but is aware that - in the past - Comcast/Xfinity has not exactly been known for trustworthy, helpful service. Hopefully there are more and more helpers like Kevin coming to this company, because he turned what could have been a dreadful trip into something that was a bright spot in my day!

I was routed to an out-of-state Colorado rep, Gloria M, (no local support), and when I asked about fiber, it turned into an argument and upsell instead of solutions. I was sent a DocuSign with little explanation. A manager (Chad C.) then promised priority installation (4/20) if we signed and claimed we were getting the "best deal" $185/month for 1.25 Gbps, basically no savings ($5.00 less and still a $130 install fee) no break for being longtime customers. 4/20 came and went. Turns out the paperwork was wrong. We ended up receiving SIX different DocuSigns due to repeated errors, with poor communication and zero accountability. Now we're scheduled for 4/28 (!) but our business has been left without service in the meantime. Frustrating, unprofessional, and honestly feels like the result of having no real competition. Being dishonest to get someone to sign a contract is not a way to do business. Complaint filed with the BBB. If you have another option, take it.

    I was a customer at Century Link for over seven years. When CL was going to separate our bills, we called to cancel the phone service. There was a breakdown in communication somewhere. It could even have been on our end, but we continued to get charged a separate bill that I did not receive or give effort to find because I thought we had cancelled the phone service. So, knowing that it could have been an oversight on our end, I simply wanted to talk to someone about this situation-see if something could be negotiated. When it became known to me, I immediately called to try and get some understanding and help. We have never had a late payment on any accounts and I was determined to keep our credit in good standing. What I got instead was the most incredibly rude, condescending and inept customer service-EVER. I am a professional who has worked in the medical field, the teaching profession, and community outreach-I have experience with many facets of working with the public. In my opinion, Century Link is an irresponsible, greedy, and uncaring corporation that only wants profits and who hires people with that as their end goal. We have spent the last week looking for options in our area that provide good customer service and who employ locals with a decent wage. I believe we have found one and so are saying good riddence to this sham of a business.

I recently moved here (Bellingham) and have gone through 10 days of hell trying to get TV and internet hooked up. I own a retail business and if I treated customers as I was treated by Centurylink, I would be out of business very quickly.

Truthfully, that is the ONLY reason we have not canceled in the last 3 years, and the fact trying to cancel is long, used car salesman experience. Actually, how difficult they make it to cancel service is the reason WE WILL NEVER have Dish TV again! We multiple times kept saying, we don't watch it and we want go cancel. And the gal kept pushing us about what we watch. And we were nothing, and she kept going on and on. We must have said over 3 dozen times to cancel before they actually decide to disconnect, and then tried again to offer us a half price rate. Well, honestly they always have issues... every year. One of the networks will not renew with them, and then all the sudden we lose CBS, NBC or ABC. Which is we are going to turn on the TV that is the only channels we watch. Them going off air for a long extended time was actually how we got introduced to Paramount Plus, which in our opinion is much better especially if you have a SmartTV. And when they have issues, you still have to pay the same. They will never give you a credit. It was long over due to cut the cord. If we want to watch a movie, or even a show. There are so many other ways to do so. That are much more affordable. $150 / month to sit on your bum and watch TV.... is just too much. That money can go towards future travels and adventures.

    I had phone and internet service with Frontier. I had whole days where the internet didn't work,…read moreand the days it did work it would randomly cut in and out. In the evenings or weekends it was almost pointless to even try. After several months of this I discontinued the service and went back to the more expensive provider. Frontier, however, decide that I should pay the $100 early termination fee even though they didn't provide the service they had promised. They expect me to keep my end of the contract, but they don't feel a need to keep theirs. I talked to customer service and put in a "dispute" and was told do not pay the bill until the dispute is settled. Four months later I got a letter from a collection agency saying I owed this money. I called back, waited an hour on hold, then spent about 45 minutes talking to various people who didn't know what to do with the issue. Finally someone said I needed to talk to customer service and have them connect me to a manager in the office of the president. I talked with customer service again, they said they had no way of connecting me to a manager in the office of the president. One of the customer service representatives and one of the onsite service techs, I had several techs out to my house to try to fix the problem, both told me this company has serious issues. I couldn't agree more! I heard they are upgrading the hardware in my area, but I won't be back.
