They carry office materials and stationary goods as well, supplies that aren't always found in groceries or other supply stores. I've been a customer of Copy Source since I moved to Bham nearly 20 (gah!) years ago. They're conveniently located, locally owned, the prices are good, and the service is friendly. In the past year I've used them more often for my copying needs for various events and they always come through. They have computers (25-cents/minute) where I can get into my Google docs account, load up my work, and print it on one of their fast, high-quality copiers (either color or black 'n white). They also have a nice selection of colored paper and cardstock to purchase if I want to spruce things up a bit. In the center of the store is a handy "work island" with a large paper cutter, stapler, and other office tools. Who needs an office when you have Copy Source just down the street?! read more

Recently I needed photos for a visa application (as in for visiting another country). I've had to get passport and visa photos numerous times in my life (lucky me to be able to travel!) I was really impressed with staff from Copy Source. Some countries have picky requirements. Staff seemed up on what was going to best for my application (no smiling so not looking my best! but best for what the country is likely to accept!) Took several shots to get it right. Were super patient. A customer came in right as I was paying asking if they did passport photos. I was happy I could recommend them to him right off the bat. I actually found Copy Source because Kinkos doesn't seem to carry everyday items anymore. I thought maybe that's just how it is in the copy world now, but on the way home I gave Copy Source a try. SO THANKFUL I did. They had everything I needed, and for less than I was expecting to pay. I've gone to them ever since, and they have NEVER let me down. The employees are also SUPER friendly. I've been using Copy Source for almost everything I print since I moved to Bellingham in 2000. They are always helpful and friendly, and the times I haven't planned ahead and needed a quick print job they have always done their best to accommodate me. They are good at tech and I can email my files or bring a USB stick in or even log in and download it from drive or dropbox. The selection of paper and printing materials as well as design options (cards, flyers, foldouts, posters, etc...) and of course, pric has been working for me since I started using them. Most other places in Bellingham aren't as friendly and sometimes stand-offish. This never happens at Copy Source and for all the reasons above I highly recommend these guys. read more

I went to Copysource to have them print a funeral notice that I had put together on my home computer for my mother. The pictures were a little old and I was worried that the quality of the program would be poor. I had two employees pick up on my concern right away and they immediately started working on my job and told me to come back the next day to look at a sample copy. When I returned I was absolutely stunned by how good the finished product looked. Once I approved it, they immediately printed it and I had my order finished in less than an hour. Passport photos and Mail Service: Super helpful today helping our family of three with passport photos and mailing of our renewal applications. We arrived with renewal apps completed and checks ready for US passport service office. Copy Source supplied appropriate mailer envelopes, knew which addresses to send to (standard or expedited), prepared labels for tracking. They also helped us make sure we hadn't forgotten anything. w Copy Source is a recognized US Postal service provider, so everything was completed at their store. You decide: got one color label page printed and Copy Source charged $5.00. I was shocked!!!! Could not believe they were asking that much. Paid for my one sheet and went to the Fed Ex on garden (old Kinko's) and they charged me .60 some cents for one page. I walked away with five colour pages for under $4.00. Decent and helpful! Copy source is the cheapest copy service in Bellingham--I'll give them that. But you pay for what you get. I brought my publication to be printed once a month for almost a year. It was the same file with the same specifications on the same day. They never recognized me, and never remembered what the product was. They promised to set up a billing service. Never did. They used varied paper and printing techniques every time. Now I'm printing with Lithtex Northwest on Meridian. They give fabulous service and a superior quality product for a price matched to Copy Source. I highly recommend them!! read more

I was in Bellingham looking for a place to fax (yes Fax) documents to a lender. (Don't ask why I couldn't attach those documents to an e-mail.) Since I am not from the area, I had no idea where to go. As I was driving on State Street in Bellingham, I noticed the Copy Source. Access was easy even though it was pouring cats and dogs. The store had the air of a print shop, and a cool independent vibe. I asked the woman behind the counter if they had a fax. To my surprise, she said yes. I needed to print a document from the Internet to be faxed. (Yes, I know. Why couldn't I just send it as an attachment.) She not only directed me to a workstation, but charged me a reasonable rate for 2-3 minutes of computer time (compared to that other national copy store chain). When I was ready to fax the documents, she helped me get it done quickly, and the cost was very reasonable. (My experience here was much less painful that my experience with that other nationwide copy store that charges an arm and a leg.) The store appears to do graphic work, and specialty printing as well. If you are in Bellingham, and need a place to get graphics and printing done, give these guys a shot. read more

For about 2 years this was my go-to for prints... but no longer :( They recently got all new printers and they dont seem to work right and even worse: don't know how to work with them.. Prints have stripes from dirty print heads all across them, sized wrong and color prints come out EXTREMELY contrasted and dark . They insist they have it calibrated each morning by a tech... but to what? They need to learn how to work the new machines... read more

I came to Copy Source to get a small drawing of mine enlarged on photography paper to make the colors be vibrant and the image large enough to be framed. A wonderful, skilled person there did several exact calculations for me, led me to the photography paper and made the (beautiful!) copy for me. It was exactly fitted to the full width of the paper. Very helpful and wonderful that they have a color copier , as well as different sizes of photography paper, thus avoiding having to purchase an expensive pack.
