They routinely leave something behind - a few bits that they couldn't be bothered to pickup. Today they scattered 10 or more good-sized pieces of trash which then began to blow along the street and down the hillside. Who do they think is going to clean up after them? They're a monopoly, so it's me. Another neighbor said it's their "Double your trash back" policy.

We found them be very fair, reasonable and customer friendly. We really appreciate Security Solutions and their competent monitoring service.

They were only 6 years old! Apparently they need to check the insides every 6 years. I went to Washington Fire Safety Supply and they recharged them for $17.50 each. Big savings. Their service might be good but wow why get rid of a different brand when they work just fine. They lost my service for extinguishers and when my fire alarm contract expires I am moving my monitoring to the company who recharged my extinguishers.

I have put off bringing my computer in to anyone due to fear of cost to repair it and the fact that it is also my livelihood. As it progressively got worse I did a ton of online research and found Angelo. I dropped it off on a Thursday and it was ready for pickup the following Monday. No more fan noise, no more sounds of gravel in it or grinding so bad it made me cringe. He cleaned it (which was extensive due to working in a paint shop), replaced both fans and my wonderful computer works like new again and for a very honest and beyond reasonable cost, so I tipped him additionally. I am extremely grateful and will be bringing in my old macbook pro into him for work as well. Thank you Angelo!!!

I had emailed them 2 times just to get some info about an older Volvo motor and possibilities regarding it's issue. They never responded so I called them yesterday, and after they found the 2nd email, they answered the questions. So I said please respond to the email. Then today I got a call from a Brandon, while he told me of the possibilities on the phone, he would not put anything in writing, i.e. email response, not even that there are a lack of parts for this motor. I've had good luck dealing with these guys in the past, but I don't know about this Brandon guy and his boss. Finally, upset I did call a 3rd time after being hung up by him twice, and he told me after talking to his boss that they would pass on looking at it, even though they work on Volvo boat motors. Very surprised and disappointed with these guys. Honestly, I hate posting negative reviews and prefer to post 5 stars as I often do for people, but I don't know how anybody can say West Coast Marine Services didn't earn this 1 star! Update: I just got off the phone with Volvo Penta

Dave is the principal owner of the business and recently got into the home generator business as a distributor and installer of Generac products. I signed off on an estimate / contract with him to install Generac's largest residential generator. Other than delivering the home generator unit and sub-contracting the gas and electrical hook-ups, I basically had to step in as the general contractor and work with the gas / electrical guys because he would not return phone calls to them or to me. In fact, I had to contact Generac directly to set the generator up and get the 10 year warranty he was supposed to secure for me as part of his estimate and contract. Even his own staff told me privately that he is over his head and not very good with customer support. I do not recommend Ocean West.

This past winter I bought a Catalina 42 sailboat that I found in Boston, and after waiting for the snow to melt I shipped it across country to Bellingham. Jason and team were there with me from the time it arrived and have worked tirelessly for the past couple of months to get her in top condition - they've installed a new hydronic heating system, integrated electronics, battery & electrical upgrades, and the list goes on. Exceptional workmanship, honest, fair prices and a genuine pleasure to work with all around. Everything went very smoothly from start to end with Nissen and Associate. McKenzie, the office assistant, responded to my inquiry promptly. It was easy to set up an intake appointment with one of their tax preparers, Michelle. I dropped off my tax documents with Michelle. She emailed me with a couple of questions before finishing up my return. I swung by the office and signed a couple of documents to authorize them to file taxes on my behalf, and that's it! Painless! Because Michelle was able to give me a great discount, I paid significantly less than I paid H&R least year. I only interacted with McKenzie and Michelle, but they are both friendly yet professional. I loved that I never felt rushed or they never tried to upsell anything (like other companies I mentioned above). I highly recommend Nissen and Associates!
