Less than 5 minutes, Mr Sidney calls back said he can come by to look at it between 4 & 5 pm. He said he charge 1st hour of service up front. Sounds reasonable. Mr Sidney showed up as promised at 4:20pm and he diligently troubleshoot our circuit board and meticulously checked our kitchen outlets which was another source of problem of constantly popping the circuit breaker. End result Mr Sidney fix our dishwasher circuit and was even kind enough to explain to us how to minimize our problems of our kitchen outlets. He actually spent over 1.5 hours researching our circuit issues but yet he only charged us the 1 hr rate. Good honest man, Mr Sidney. I was happy I chose Master's Electric, I will certainly call on Mr Sidney again if I ever need electrical service in the future

I am sure the email will fall on deaf ears but just want to pass it on anyway. I had a heating issue several month ago, I called Hydro Mechanical as I like to support local business owners. I was satisfied with the turn time and fix that was done and even the billing. So when I had heating issues again about a month ago, I called again. The initial call was friendly and helpful......UNTIL after the work is done....after that, conversations are short and borderline abrasive. I am a friendly easy going person and just wanted to discuss the billing. So let's get to the billing. I was billed for an 90 minutes of service time. I live 10 minutes from your shop. The tech was at my house for 20 minutes (fixed the problem) and 10 minutes back to your shop. I am not sure how that equates to 90 minutes of billing time. I called to just check and pretty much all I received is "I have to trust my guy". There is no actual "timeline" covering the billed 90 minutes.....all I was told was "maybe he had to go to the warehouse"? Really? You do not know where the time billed is coming from? Every minute should be accounted for....from the time the tech leaves the shop, arrives at the house, leaves the house, and arrives back at the shop. I know in your world $50 is not much money......I am absolutely ok with paying what is earned. I just question the validity of a 90 minute billing on a job that was 40 minutes at best. But...all that said, you are holding your ground, and I will pay the bill. I will never recommend or refer your business to anyone I know. So much for supporting the "local business.

I've hired M & M Home Repair twice: March 2019 and January 2021 to fix broken backyard fence both…read moretimes. Here are pros & cons and my advice if you are thinking of hiring them. PROS + Mike tries to address the cause of the problem. I have lost a total of 7 fence posts in the past 5 years because they rot. Mike used the Rotbloc Wrap to prevent the posts from rotting under the ground. + Mike was able to give me a free estimate and repaired my face. There were delays but he did it in the end. I tried to get a quote from big names in town, but I couldn't. CONS -Both times when I hired Mike, there was a problem with details, some big, some small. First time (2019), his crew fixed my fence but didn't do a good job. He had to come back to fix it himself. Second time (2021), I notice that one of the posts was longer and a few of them were shorter than other posts. He fixed the post that was too long, but there was nothing that could be done with the two posts that are too short (by about 6 inches). ADVICE *Make sure to inspect the site when they are done to make sure everything looks good. *Get quotes from other contractors. I found out later that a Yelper friend of mine in town hired a different contractor and paid less than half of what I paid. I could be comparing apples and oranges, but both he and I had 4 posts replaced in January 2021. Send me a private message if you want to know who my Yelp friend used. *Pay cash/check. There's a 3.9% processing fee for credit card payments. Overall, I'm happy with M & M, and I think I will use them again. His price was very reasonable and he was up front on the work needed. We ended up doing a lot more work to the house with Mike since the work he was doing was great and we were happy.
