After seeing the not-great reviews for this place, I kinda dreaded having to pay them a visit last week to help me make an adjustment to my account. But it turned out to be a 5-star experience for sure! First things first, the store is super conveniently located at Sunset Square shopping center, with plenty of parking and other businesses nearby if you're running errands. The store itself is modern, well-lit, and contains some cool gadgets you can play with while waiting your turn. I checked in at the main counter and, within about 10 minutes, a really cool dude named Kevin was assisting. My request was pretty simple, but he didn't rush or make me feel like an idiot for coming all the way to the store for help. He walked me through the process, discussed some different pricing options, and showed me all the notes he was making in my account to verify the change. He was very thorough - showing me that he not only knows his job well, but is aware that - in the past - Comcast/Xfinity has not exactly been known for trustworthy, helpful service. Hopefully there are more and more helpers like Kevin coming to this company, because he turned what could have been a dreadful trip into something that was a bright spot in my day! read more

This review is for Comcast Small Business. What should have been a simple service transfer turned into a mess. I was routed to an out-of-state Colorado rep, Gloria M, (no local support), and when I asked about fiber, it turned into an argument and upsell instead of solutions. I was sent a DocuSign with little explanation. A manager (Chad C.) then promised priority installation (4/20) if we signed and claimed we were getting the "best deal" $185/month for 1.25 Gbps, basically no savings ($5.00 less and still a $130 install fee) no break for being longtime customers. 4/20 came and went. Turns out the paperwork was wrong. We ended up receiving SIX different DocuSigns due to repeated errors, with poor communication and zero accountability. Now we're scheduled for 4/28 (!) but our business has been left without service in the meantime. Frustrating, unprofessional, and honestly feels like the result of having no real competition. Being dishonest to get someone to sign a contract is not a way to do business. Complaint filed with the BBB. If you have another option, take it. read more

I had a glitch activating my internet modem so I called the Comcast 800 number. Selected the 'activate equipment' menu item and it gave me ZERO choice to speak to a person. Then it literally hung up on me. I called again. It urged me to download the app , but I had no internet so I couldn't download the app on my tablet! Again tried to get a person to speak with and it disconnected me again. God I hate this company! So if you have a problem getting through to a human , here's how you can buy bypass it: select that you are wanting new service and they will get you to a person promptly. That's the only way you can get through their miserable menu system without getting disconnected. Why can't we speak to a person when we request it??? We hate dealing with this company more than any company we've ever had to deal with even though bank of america credit card is right up there. read more

If I could give "0" stars I would for the exceptionally poor and extremely rude behavior exhibited toward me as a pleasant customer. My iphone 11 had been heating up when I used it for phone calls and some apps. I did not have an appointment but was near the store so I walked in and asked the person who greeted me at the front desk if I could talk to someone about it. She was condescending from the get go. She informed me dismissively that Xfinity no longer handled those issues, that I would have to go to Best Buy (this is in Bellingham) to have someone at the Geek Squad help me. Then I asked if I could talk to someone about upgrading my phone. She stared at her iPad where I assumed she had a schedule. Her attitude was one of disdain. "There's a 45 minute wait. Do you want to wait that long?" No. So then I asked if she could simply look up my account. When I gave her my phone # and name, she curtly replied, "There's no account for you." I realized then that the account was under my husband's name and that he had not added me yet. When I gave her his phone # and name, she said, "Yes, there's an account here but since you aren't on it, he will have to come in with you to discuss anything." Again, she couldn't have been any snottier. By now, my kind mood was starting to change. I was trying to keep a lid on my annoyance with her so I asked, "So, do you in fact sell phones at this store?" I knew they did. She nodded with contempt where the display was. My next comment was, "Well, if I just want to get my credit card out and purchase an iPhone 16, is THAT something you can do in this store?" I had had it with her. All she needed to do was answer my first question nicely and tell me that she was sorry their store doesn't work on the overheating problem and I would have to go to Best Buy. I would have sucked it up, thanked her and gone on my merry way. I started to leave but not without saying as I walked away, "This has been a completely worthless trip." I have worked in customer service before and I know that you can have bad days, that customers can be snotty. However, a pleasant customer should NEVER be the recipient of whatever personal ire you are experiencing. If you can't handle customers, ask your manager if someone else can handle the front desk. Her behavior was so condescending that I almost asked to speak to her manager and suggest that maybe the CSR be given a refresher course/discussion about how to act toward customers. Customers are, in fact, the revenue generating component of a successful business, including job retention and recruitment. Unbelievably, I had a worse experience 4-5 days later, last weekend 8/23/2025, which I will detail in a second post. read more

One employee caused quite a mess when I moved and needed to change my internet. It was such a disaster... then I had been double charged for that chaos. I went in and David helped figure it out and get things sorted. He was very helpful and had fantastic customer service skills. Thanks David!! For the past 3-4 years I have had an annoying glitch in my phone where it would inexplicably forward all of my calls. I had the horrible misfortune of having to spend 8 total hours at the xfinity store, however, the service and resolution made it all worth it. 5 of these hours were spent working with Michael Russell, whose friendly nature, sense of humor, and relatability were both appreciated and comforting. Michael not only fixed my problem that others had spent 3+ hours at one time on (to the point where I just gave up and made everyone text me if they needed me), but he also helped me find ways to reduce my bill and helped me purchase a new phone! I'd had good experience at this location up until today. I had a quick payment issue I wanted to take care of. So, I went online and made an appointment. The soonest appointment was 4 days out, but I decided to make an appointment instead of walking in and wait. I arrived on time for my appointment and was checked in. I still had to wait for 30 minutes for my turn. If I have to wait for 5~10 minutes (maybe even 15 minutes), I wouldn't have said anything. I expressed my concern to the rep I spoke with. She just gave me excuses and didn't even acknowledge my frustration. I spoke with her supervisor, but she gave me the same excuses and meaningless apologies. I left the store upset. I called to get a cheaper package. I ended up on the phone for over an hour at least with a sales rep that would not stop trying to convince me that the way to get the cheapest package was to sign up for a phone as well. I argued that it made no sense, but he insisted it was the only way for me to get the cheapest package. He never mentioned I would be locked into a 2 year wireless contract with monthly charges or even have to use the phone at all. When I got the damn phone I just threw it away because I knew I would never use it. Then the charges started coming, I went into the store, nothing I can do because I thew the phone away. This has nothing to do with this particular store, but I have no other way of leaving a review of Xfinity itself. I am writing this because of how difficult they've made it to reach a live person. Considering that I am in the telehealth field, this is extremely concerning. In the past, it took a few minutes to get through to someone, but it was possible. Now, after jumping through all of the hoops, including restarting my modem and waiting 10 minutes before calling back, the virtual assistant gave me a web address where I could go to troubleshoot my issues!! I repeat--a web address rather than a live person. How benevolent of you, Xfinity, to give me the opportunity to learn a new skill with all of the extra free time I have. And for raising my rate by more than 30 percent last month before taking away the live-person option. I know the corporate ultra-rich are never satisfied, never have enough money lining their pockets, and now they don't even want to bother paying a non-living wage to someone who might actually provide a smidge of customer service. So, what happens to a telehealth client who is experiencing a mental health crisis and can't connect with their therapist because they are tracking down an article on Xfinity/support.com? But I highly doubt the CEO of this company stays up at night, losing sleep over this inevitability. Fortunately, I found a workaround. Next time you need tech support, do not tell the virtual assistant as much. Instead, tell it you need to cancel your account. When it asks you if you are doing this because of a move, answer "No." Then watch how quickly you are put through to a live agent. Lighting couldn't reach a solitary tree in the middle of a wheat field more quickly. read more

I've normally been very happy with the help you receive at the Bellingham Xfinity store. However, after a purchase of an iphone 16, I have become very disgruntled with the quality of the staff. Made 3 trips to the store to transfer my contacts from the old iphone to the new one. The first tech said that I needed to do this at home. He made no attempt to explain why. He just wouldn't do it himself. All attempts at moving my contacts at home failed. Went back to the store the next day for a 2-hour visit and could not find anyone who could move my contacts over. The tech that helped us told us I needed to take some computer classes because I should be able to move the contacts over very easily. She also failed at moving contacts over. Third person was very nice and said that she couldn't help since the old phone had one extra email address listed. Not sure how that affects moving all the contacts over. I felt it was her excuse for not being able to move the contacts either. read more

So we are new to xfinity (service not yet hooked up). We have already experienced lots of issues with appointments made and no one showing up and the endless loops on the phone so we we're definitely expecting the worst. We had an 11 am appointment at the store and there was a long time prior to store opening at 11 am. We were assigned to Aaron A (who previously worked in Tech) and we had a pre install technical question. He was extremely helpful and definitely went above and beyond our expectations! Wow! I got the best customer service ever from Kathy. After resolving all my concerns she went the extra mile and gave me her direct telephone number and email. She gave me assurance that she personally would address any questions or issues I might have. Kudos to Comcast for raising the bar on customer service and making me feel like an important customer. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. My wife's phone broke. We went to the xfinity store. Told we need to call Assurant. so we call assurant they tell us to call apple care. Apple care tell us they need a $1200 deposit before they send out a phone to replace the broken phone. These people were super busy and were swamped, but still able to give good customer service with kind words and a smile all throughout the transaction. They don't have an easy job. If i could give this company ZERO stars I would. They take advantage of their costumers and have horrible costumer service. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit we called more than 10 times to cancel or pause our service and even though we waited from 40 mins to an hour each time they always hanged up on us. The chat was also useless and it will drop off when we were next in que. We were unable to get in touch for two months so we decided to take out automatic payment off as we were unable to speak to them and pause internet. We get a call today and we owe them and they refuse to pause our account until we pay. We told them we called and wrote for weeks to cancel and no one got back to us. How is it our fault? He said, sure its our fault but you still have to pay the amount or else we can't pause your account. We were having a large amount of calls those weeks. Blah blah. Clearly all other companies had the same and we were still able to cancel our pause services. I find extremely upsetting this company is unwilling to work with a costumer even though they were unreachable and even though we tried they weren't there. It was on them and we still have to pay. nothing personal on this location, but Xfinity is single-handedly the worst company i've ever had the displeasure of having business with. i would give negative stars if i could for all the stress they've caused. they add sneaky charges or upgrade you without asking and you have to waste several hours to get it resolved, and then you have to call back a second time because they did not give you a refund like they said they would. i'm currently canceling services because i'm tired of it and they charged me after the cancellation date and are refusing to refund me though no service was provided. it's been several days and i've reached out several times with no resolution. Xfinity likes to take money they think you won't notice, leaving the customer to make great efforts to rectify it. you need to contact several people several times. sometimes they just hang up on me, and everytime i hear something different. Awful customer service! I drove an hour to get a replacement mobile phone. We called the central number ahead to check if that particular phone was in stock, that agent misunderstood us and placed the order already for the device to be delivered to my home address. When I reached the store some 45 miles away, Megan tells me she can't get me another device for the same phone line neither can she cancel the order that was placed without us having any knowledge of it! She was rude and un accommodating. I have no idea how they are running a store front with representatives who behave that way! They have No phone number, or at least refuse to share it with the public. Even though it lists a number for the Bellingham store online and in the Yellow pages, it calls an 800 # in another state. And then one has to navigate an endless amount of recordings that keep repeating until no more hair is left on my bald head! And then there is the nearly non-existant chat line-also outsourced! I need a new phone. I called the # for my local xfinity store- it was an 800 #. First operator was not understandable with a very thick accent. I got switched to another with also a very thick accent who wouldn't listen. Then I go to the store and wait for over an hour to find out they didn't put my name on 'the list.' So I told them I had come in before the man they called and tough luck for me. Then the man who helped me (ha!) said they didn't have the phone I'd waited over an hour to buy. It would be two business days more! (that was last Thursday) So I found the same phone the next day, for $200 less, had it shipped and received it today (Monday.) The xfinity phone is due Wednesday. I go in to xfinity, it takes an hour to be helped and they can't set up my new phone until the other arrives! They have barely said 'sorry' for all the wasted time and frustration! I'm looking for another internet carrier in Bellingham, but xfinity seems to be only one available in my area. Two thumbs down!!! read more

Uhhhhh I entered into some customer service bizarro world when my girlfriend and I came to this Xfinity store to set up internet service. The people were friendly and smiley, they didnt try to sell us anything we didnt want, they were patient and knowledgable about all the questions we had, and to top it off...the mid-tier service we needed was very affordable. Xfinity & Comcast are the same thing, right? Comcast is the monstrous corporation with infamously horrible customer service, right? Im even more confused after a few calls to their customer support line to get the cable modem activated and troubleshoot poor wifi connectivity in our apartment. The call center people were US-based, very patient, smart and friendly. I even got one to share a lewd joke with me. And they fixed the problem! This simply isnt supposed to happen with Comcast. The final bizarro situation was when i went back to this Xfinity store to get a replacement/upgrade wifi modem and the salesperson was so un-salesy and friendly i really started to wonder if there was some major conspiracy going on. I shared my skepticism with her and she said comcast/Xfinity was a great place to work and they were trying hard to reverse their bad reputation by enabling retail store employees to give discounts, make pricing and plans more clear, and pay more attention to customer feedback. Of course she is paid to say things like that, but it really does seem like comcast and this Xfinity store are seriously trying to make customers happy so they get 5 stars from me. read more

They are kind enough to offer bottled water; however, this is cruelly compounded by the lack of a public restroom for customers. Xfinity by Comcast has my vote to tie with AT&T as worst mobile Telecom company. I've spent several hundred hours in one year trying to help them get their stuff straight. Unfortunately, it seems hopeless. Numerous times I have been in this local store, only to not succeed in solving the technical, billing and equipment problems and have to return there multiple times, again often to be disappointed that they could not resolve problems. They will not provide a phone number to call ahead and see if service might be possible that day from a knowledgeable or authoritative person. This store's manager has promised me several times to contact me after following up on the issues, but not once did she ever do it. When I ask her about these episodes, she makes excuses, such as was busy, was sick, off work, short of help, etc. Their corporate office is no better. Several of their representatives have promised me they would fix issues, but they do not follow through. This has been a very poor effort by Comcast to get into the mobile phone business. I understand that they lease their lines through Verizon. Perhaps I should just switch to Verizon. It took me well over 40 minutes on a phone call with customer "service" yesterday to help them understand metric math (such as 1000 kB = 1 MB, .001 GB), so they could see that I had been billed in error for service not provided. I had to request a supervisor's assistance, then had to go through the entire verification of my account again because the person who transferred me had not provided that information to the supervisor. This happens frequently with Xfinity. After that supervisor looked over my account, my billing and my real-time online data, he realized their billing was faulty and issued me a credit on my next bill. I have to call Xfinity by Comcast again today on a voicemail issue that has been going on for more than two months, and for which the local store throws their hands up and says they can't help me. It disturbs me to have to deal with this company and I'm not looking forward to yet another unpleasant experience in dealing with them. read more

I've been with Comcast for almost 20 years and I am so frustrated with my internet service. I never have have more than 2-3 bars on my phone and tablet. I increased my internet speed for an added $40 a month and my service is the same as it was prior to being added to my plan. When I check my internet speed by calling Comcast I'm told it's at 100%, it is not. I'm researching other ISP to switch to. read more

I signed up for service over the phone with Comcast, they made an appointment for me at the store, and said I could head in at my leisure. When I arrived the door was opened for me by a gentleman working at the store, was given a greeting, and was promptly helped when walking up to the front desk. LIARS! Bought an iPhone through them. Had an issue with it. Was told by the store manager to bring it back and they would exchange it. Detailed notes written. Spent over an hour at an "appointment" to change the phone. Person helping me escalated it through tier 3 and came back to apologize, stating they would honor the exchange, but it had to be done via mail from Seattle. Waited 3 weeks for the mail and got a call from some xfinity rep stating a district manager has now refused to honor the promises given, and the only recourse is for me to drive into Canada for an Apple store, or else drive 1.5 hours south to an Apple store. Strangely enough, when Xfinity tries to make a sale, they never share this information. Instead, they make fancy promises about bringing it back to the store, great service, etc. Lies. Poorly trained staff, incompetent customer service, outright lies. Even the customer service call center...refused to give names or employee identification numbers. read more

After reading previous reviews I was optimistic about visiting this location. Well that feeling was soon dashed! The store is bright, clean and spacious but the service i received wasnt. The wait was short which was great, that was the only good part. The woman helping me with my billing question was quick to tell me i didnt understand her or the system, i dont remember asking her about her system! I had a simple question i wanted answered, that was all. When i got more specific she told me she couldn't help me, when i asked for a supervisor who may be able to help, i was told there wasn't one in town and that i'd have to go to Burlington to speak to one! I am always reluctant about dealing with "the cable company", especially when it comes to issues over billing. So my visit to the local Xfinity store here in B-Ham was not something I was looking forward to. Jake Rattet certainly dispelled that notion the second we started talking. He took the time to explain every charge and explore many options for me to lower my monthly bill. If Xfinity were to hire more people like Jake, who have a keen understanding of customer service and satisfaction, they would find their company right up there with Nordstroms and Enterprise Rental Car as far as keeping their customers happy. I only wish that half the restaurants in Bellingham could have just an ounce of the level of service that Jake provided me yesterday. read more

Often long lines at this place to get in and talk to somebody but the service is there and oftentimes they give you what you need that same day which is great for somebody trying to set up a new house or restore their service .
