So me and my girlfriend went to this store looking to buy a new phone and adjust our plan to better suit our needs at the moment with the way that we use xfi services. Gabe was the sales professional that worked with us and helped guide me towards getting the new iPhone based upon my desire for the best in new phones on the market. He clearly showed me the differences between the phones available and was able to help my girlfriend with adjustments to our plan. I am so happy with my new purchase as well as having had the opportunity to work with an amazing associate at this location. He was humorous and even more so professional when connecting us with what we needed. Gabe at Xfinity you're awesome!! Anyone that is looking for help I recommend working with Gabe Clark. ive never been treated so rude by the employees there. tech cut my internet line and i was told it would be a week before they could fix it. they refused to credit my account and told me to get a business account to get more promt service. i cant wait to switch to another internet co read more

First time in the Xfinity store since they relocated from the Cordata area. It is a much nicer, brighter, bigger store, but the customer service is still terrible. Came in on a weekday, about 10:30 am. At the front counter there were three people, and one of them gave me a friendly greeting and asked what they could help with. I explained I was returning a cable / phone modem, since I had discontinued their VOIP phone service and owned my own modem that I would use for now on with the internet service. That employee scanned in the modem, put a tag on it and asked me to "take a seat" and someone would call my name in a few minutes. There was counter at the back of the store with two employees standing at computer terminals. At another counter at the side of the store there was another employee, assisting the only other customer in the store. So, five available employees, and I had to wait? Hmmm, confusing. I stood near the back counter and tried to make eye contact with the two employees at the computer terminals, who were not typing anything or talking on any phones, but just talking about their work schedules. After two minutes one of them said she was "logging on" so could not help me, it would be a short wait. The other employee said nothing. Five minutes later, I guess they still had not logged on. They must not subscribe to the "blazing fast" internet speeds Comcast / Xfinity offers:-). The three employees at the front counter started talking about their schedules, when they would each be taking breaks, and when another employee would be coming on shift. Eventually, the employee who had been helping the only other customer finished with that customer, went over to the counter at the front door, picked up my modem and called my name. I explained I was returning the cable / phone modem, and would like a receipt and proof that I would not be billed any rental fees for my new modem assigned to the account, since I owned it. The employee gave me a receipt for returning the rental modem, but said she had no way to print out anything that could verify the modem was removed from my account for billing purposes or that I would not be billed any further rental charges; and she could not do anything to the account now since it was in flux since I was changing my service package. I explained I was concerned because I have read many reviews about poor customer service and Comcast erroneously billing for customer owned equipment, and I did not want to have to waste time straightening out this problem in the future. I asked her to make some notes about the customer owning the modem in my account, so I could have proof and help explain it in the future if I called in to customer service. The store employee told me I was wrong, that Comcast has excellent reviews and that there won't be any future problems because she had done her job as she was supposed to have done it. Perhaps I will be fortunate and not get erroneously billed (though odds are against me) and perhaps she did do her job as she was trained, but Comcast certainly isn't training its store employees to be very helpful. Five employees doing nothing but standing around talking about their schedules? Perhaps the three at the door were greeters only, awaiting a huge rush of customers. Perhaps the other two ladies behind the back counter were sales reps only - - who cannot perform any customer service transactions - - but why didn't they say so if that was the case. Sadly, the only broadband provider with really good reviews in Bellingham (the local company Pogozone) is not accepting any new customers in my neighborhood at this time, because they are tiny and don't have that much capacity yet. read more
