I paid them before seeing the result, which was a mistake. I came home expecting a clean house (since I had paid hundreds of dollars to house cleaners) and it was filthy. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere. One of the toilets looked like it had not been cleaned at all. At least part of the floor had not been even swept (covered in dust, cobwebs, and old dirt). Sinks had old food and had not been cleaned around the drain area. I took numerous pictures and contacted Spree Clean with the pictures (which clearly showed the filth). They made no attempt to rectify. The only response from them was to ask if someone had been in the house after them (the only person who was there after them was the carpet cleaner). I'm surprised and disappointed by my experience with Spree Clean.

The first thing that went wrong was they booked it for the wrong day, they then corrected to the right day after I caught the mistake. The second thing was the cleaners came over an hour and a half late with no communication that they would be late. The third was that the owner had given me an estimate that it would cost $60 an hour and probably take 3hrs, meaning $180, I confirmed this pricing with the cleaners when they got there as well. But then I got their invoice and it was $400. I contacted the owner to ask why the invoice was over double what we had agreed on and was told then that it was $60 per cleaner and they had sent two. None of this was disclosed before hand. Then he continued with condescending messages about how he had never "agreed on a price" that it was just an "estimate given the description provided."

She pressured me and due to her threat, I was able to get my niece to allow her workers access to my home in my absence. She had to take time off from work to do this and lives across town in Bellingham. Because I was satisfied with the cleaning service up to this point, I elected to not press this further. A month and a half ago I informed her that I would no longer be needing monthly cleanings as my children are no longer living at home. I left Holly a text message in this regard and texting was the means we communicated. Her workers showed up anyway on what would have been my schedule cleaning day. I informed them of the above and they left with an apology. To my surprise, I was instructed to provide evidence that I had indeed canceled the monthly service. Proof was provided! Yesterday I received a bill for $50 for canceling their service. This absolutely made me livid and prompted this negative review. Proof was once again provided. This evidence was attached to her statement charging me $50 for the late cancellation. She has been informed that I have no intention of paying this $50 fee, via return mail along with an additional copy of the text message, requested that cleanings would be done on an as needed basis. Needless to say, I wont be using "Maid for You" services again.

She said this would be a 7-hour clean. I rearranged my schedule to accommodate the 7-hour clean. She said she was planning on being at the house around 9:30am and would provide the cleaning supplies. At 9:35, I texted her and asked if she was on her way, no response. I then left a voicemail to her also closer to 10am. Never responded back at all. DO NOT RECOMMEND, TOTALLY UNACCOUNTABLE.
