Everything was great in the beginning. But, after my belongings arrived. I found rust on things…read moredue to a leak in the roof of the trailer. Also, I was charged $500 for storage. I emailed the day the trailer left to give them my address then as I waited for my belongings to arrive. Day 4, 5, 6....then we called. My trailer had arrived at its destination. No one ever called. I will admit - it was cheap, convenient, and I had such high expectations. But the rust, the extra charges, the inability to call/email/contact me is highly disappointing. Be aware - pack your things with protective coverings! Call them everyday to eliminate the extra charges for storage. Eh...lessons learned. BTW - we have photos of the rust on the protective coverings but at this point does it really matter?

I called told them, told Philip what my dilemma was and he said no problem. They would let me know when a time would be that they could make it out. It was short notice, I just looked down the three flights of stairs and thought oh my goodness what have I done? seem like it was planned out too well for me. It took Justin and Trent 35 minutes to bring my bed up and they even set it up for me. I truly would recommend this company again. They were great to work with!!! Justin and Trent they cleaned up after themselves with all my boxes, took them to the dumpster for me. I felt blessed that they were so kind. Thank you I definitely recommend them and they were affordable for what I needed.

Other people have had similar experiences with this business. Please see their reviews on Google and Yelp. No shows several times. I am handicapped and they left me stranded without a safe place to sleep for x4 nights. Here's what you can count on from Quality Moving: -repeated no call, no text, and no shows -inability and/or refusal to follow instructions or directions -inability or unwillingness to clean up after themselves -damage to property that you will not be reimbursed for Matt is the owner. Any conversations had with him will be forgotten while the conversation is happening. He will ask the same questions 4-5 times. The next day, it will be as if the conversation never occurred, and he will ask the same questions again, multiple times. Communicating via text won't help. Matt was hired to help with a few simple tasks in my home: assemble a basic office chair, set up an adjustable bed, and help cut up some oversized cardboard boxes so that they would fit into the recycling bin. 2 people were needed to set up the adjustable bed. Got a quote from a different business that was significantly higher than Matt's quote of $100, so Matt was the first choice due to the lower price. Matt said he would call early in the morning to set up an arrival time. He called at roughly 4:15 pm. Claimed he was being considerate, "letting me nap", but this was just a cover for the no call no show. Matt said he would call the next day at noon, and would arrive at whatever time I requested. He called at roughly 3pm and said, "We're coming over right now". Matt previously stated he would arrive with his nephew. Without letting me know, x2 different men were sent to my home who didn't identify themselves. Their identities weren't revealed until about 15 minutes after their arrival. Joshua and his younger helper knocked over a gallon of water next to my bed. The corner of the pitcher broke when it fell. The rug and floor were saturated, in addition to my mattress that they placed on the floor. They claimed they cleaned up the water. About 2 minutes after they left, I noticed that the floors and carpeting were still completely saturated. I called and and asked them to please come back to properly clean up the water. They attempted clean up a 2nd time, and failed. Bed risers were installed incorrectly (see photos), rendering the bed unsafe to sleep on. Padding on top of risers was supposed to be removed pre-installation. This wasn't done because they refused to read the instructions. As a result, I did not have a safe to sleep for 4 days. This is because neither Matt, nor his helpers returned as promised. The excuse Matt gave for the repeated no call, no text, and no shows was a recent breakup with his GF. If you chose to hire these people, they should be supervised at all times, and DO NOT TIP until after you've closely inspected their work. I tipped them $50 without checking their work first, trusting that they had done a good job. In the end, I had to hire a contractor to fix the problems they caused, resulting in a total loss of about $300.

I was told the moving cost would be $1500 - good price then they dripped it to $1300 even better 2. 3 nights storage $150 each 3. 2 guys 1 1/2 hours extra about $450 4. The truck they sent was to small so I had to rent a U-haul - another $400 5. May 15 they disassembled 3 pieces that they misplaced the screws/bolts and washers 5. After delivery of furniture, etc (less than 5 miles they charged me even more to unload!! Another $2200 (this did cover the 3 nights storge & the 2 xtra guys for 1 1/2 hours) they charged me about $1300 more for unloading for a total of $2600 just to load & unload 6. Today is almost the end of June 10 - three+ weeks and though I've been told this will be handled there has been a 1x effort an now no response The guys loading were friendly.

Many items were not loaded including a patio table and chairs, power washer, generator, shop vacuum, yard tools, hoses, ladder, cabinets, large shop light, etc. It was in the contract that all boxes would be put in the rooms they were labeled for and that all beds and tables would be reassembled. This didn't happen. The legs of tables were put in boxes, not labled. He had no where to sleep. When my friend told him about the sloppy job, the owner told him he would get guys in there to do the work. That took 3 weeks! But the tables were not put together. He also told my friend he would get a pickup and trailer and get the garage items brought to him. This has not happened. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY.
