This place is always one of my family's favorites when we come to big fork. I got the cranberry salad, but I definitely recommending getting one of their sandwiches or burgers instead. After sipping on my double shot of espresso, my third eye was awakened. I am now able to see the dimensional plane all because of how absolutely busting and rich the espresso was. It had some nice crema and a nice feel on the tongue. Now to assess the meal, because a dining experience is not complete without a great bev and meal. The meal was mind blowing. I could tell that the potatoes were hand picked by the weathered hands of old folks that humbly lived on a farm. The bacon I could just tell was carefully sliced from a beautifully raised pig. The cook used these splendid cuts and preformed one of the greatest acts of all time, perfectly cooking to bacon to a degree that even a god would lay his life down for. I cant go into much more detail about the meal because my review is so long, but I will wrap up with some final thoughts. Although I ordered the basic breakfast, the components that the meal comprised of all cohered to create something extra ordinary. After eating the meal I realized that I had witnessed an achievement as impressive as winning a triple crown cup 5 times with a donkey. Please go here. I am begging you. What a wonderful addition to Electric Ave. Fresh home cooked food in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We went for lunch and ordered the Jalapeño Burger with fresh cut fries, the Caesar Salad, and the Country Fried Steak. All of it was amazing. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. I ordered ranch dressing for my fries and was given home made ranch, not some watery bottles stuff. So incredibly good. My daughter devoured her Country Fried Steak as it was the best version she's ever had. The Caesar Salad also had freshly made dressing and croutons. For dessert we got a couple of gigantic coconut cupcakes. Also amazing! The service was fast and friendly and we left wanting to come back again. A great experience. read more

Many super choices on the menu. The ambience is cozy and tasteful. All the woods (walls, tables, floors, patio overhang) is wood reclaimed from a local dam, and surrounding area. This is the place to return over and over and for the cheat muffin that will be savored! Our waiter Nick took good care of us and all the staff is efficient and experienced. My first visit to Big Fork and Pocketstone Cafe in December. I had the country breakfast. The potatoes were burnt which was disappointing but the eggs and biscuit were great. It was an ok experience all around. I went back in a couple of days later and tried the cajun scramble which was really good and the potatoes were just right. Ok the food here is really good. Great blueberry pancakes, waffles, and genuine caramel rolls. Just be prepared that the service is however chaotic to the point of being pretty uncomfortable. Don't get caught up with the hype of this place. Prices are sky high for what you get and the food is average at best. The cheeseburger is good but should be priced at $8.95 or $9.95 instead of $12.95. The fries are supposed to be fresh cut, etc. but I've had frozen french fries that taste better. The scrambles have excellent ham but the portion size is ridiculously small. The potatoes are not very good. You can get better potatoes at breakfast in the Hampton Inn.......seriously. It's unbelievable that they charge $14.95 for such a scramble. Does the owner think this is NYC or what? Total ripoff! read more

The only decent thing about our meal was the soda and the homemade bread. Two people in town suggested we come here. The Rueben had about 3 slices of pastrami, the broccoli cheddar soup tasted like it was powdered soup mix, the fries were hard and oily and had no flavor and the steak fingers were battered, deep fried and way overcooked! Driving around Bigfork and looking for a place to eat. Yelped and found Pocketstone. Damn what a find. There is nothing here that isn't fantastic. Everything is fresh and homemade. We had a little bit of everything for lunch, but the killer temptation was the fresh cinnamon rolls. This place is fantastic. I am visiting a friend in Bigfork, MT, and we came here for breakfast. Not only is this place delicious, it's also really cheap. The pancakes are great and they're served with both maple and huckleberry syrups. All of the syrups and preserves come from the place next door that makes them by hand. They have all kinds of beautiful pies to ogle over when you walk in. And all the fruit served is delicious and beautiful. They're open for both breakfast and lunch. read more

A friend and I stopped here on our way to Glacier. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! I got the Karie's Honey Wheat pancakes with the homemade honey orange syrup. FANTASTIC My friend ordered the crepes and then we shared the Western egg scramble. The biscuits are HUGE and delicious. Thy gave us a variety of jams with the biscuit and the blackberry was hands down the best one. The place was very busy when we arrived but were called sooner than the original wait time and got our food rather quick. The fries were really good, and the ranch dressing marries to the French fries perfectly. They were pretty busy when we were there, but they stayed caught up. It's not fast food, it's quality food. This is a difficult review because the food was really good but the service made it a horrible experience. We ate here twice for breakfast and both times we experienced poor service. I went back a second time only bc the food was good and I figured the waitress was having a bad day. The second visit they were very busy and our waitress had too many (6) tables spread out throughout the restaurant and patio. Of the four of us, she got two orders completely wrong. The food took 45 min to come. She forgot our drink orders. The barista was obviously not able to handle the rush and my latte arrived shortly before the food. I got up and got my own jams and jellies. Then overheard the table next to us also complain their order was wrong too. It just seemed as if the staff was content in 2nd gear when they really needed to shift into 4th gear for the holiday rush. Its a shame bc in this cute quaint town, this is one of a few breakfast places. I will not visit it again. read more
