I some some very tasty food, but the service was rather lackluster. They were mildly busy on the day I came, but you would have thought they were slammed. Every step of the breakfast process took too long . . . getting a menu, getting water, getting coffee, ordering, getting a refill, waiting, getting the bill, paying the bill, etc. I am not sure if they are understaffed, but they sure gave that impression. As for the food itself, it was rather good. My omelet was a tad overdone (brown on the outside), but the flavors and fillings were solid. The local preserves were excellent on my toast. Not even average. We have a favorite cafe' on MT Hwy 83, in Bigfork, but decided to spread our business and try Pocketstone. Mistake. I ordered blueberry pancakes, but they came with no blueberries. My husband ordered a burger, that was meager at best and looked more like a SMALL fast food product than a gourmet burger. He got possibly 15-20 fries and the plate looked VERY empty! The sauces and syrup were in plastic containers on the side and the presentation just looked tacky. Our waitress was not friendly and evidently didn't listen to our order since it came out wrong. We had to ask for coffee refills and cream. There were about 4 other occupied tables, and other servers, and we did not come during a busy time of day. We paid the bill on the waitresses handheld device, which I just hate, while she was staring at us, which made me uncomfortable when adding the tip in. We're locals and won't go back. it just didn't live up to my standards for the price - pretty expensive for what you get. There are other good options near by. read more

We were last here about four years ago and did not have a good experience. With the passage of Labor Day, our choices diminish. We decided to give this place another try; I am glad we did. It always helps there is a table available when you arrive. We were greeted promptly and sat at a satisfactory table. Our server came quickly and we each had a glass of water essentially immediately. We each ordered a sandwich, which was prepared in a reasonable period of time. My BLT was excellent. Of course, I ordered avocado with the sandwich. It was soft and just ready to eat. I substituted marbled rye for the bread. Did I say this was an excellent sandwich? The bacon was not quite crisp, just the way I like it. Nothing worse that dried bacon on a sandwich. The lettuce was crisp. The tomato had flavor. After all, it is tomato season right now. Rebecca ordered the turkey club. It was also excellent, although very wide. It stretched the jaw to eat. Her soup was warm and flavorful. My slaw had flavor without too much vinegar. All in all, I am glad we returned. It helped we were after Labor Day and the crowds are smaller. Waited half an hour for our food. One Rancher special and 2 kids meal. The 2 tables came in after us already got their food and finished. food is ok nothing special. The manager was finally notified after the waitress gave me the wrong check from another table. Seriously...... I had to ask for the manager. So she gave 25% discount. Horrible service from the waitress. If your table is missing food or late you should be in the kitchen asking for the food till you serve them. Not serve other table first. What a wonderful addition to Electric Ave. Fresh home cooked food in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We went for lunch and ordered the Jalapeño Burger with fresh cut fries, the Caesar Salad, and the Country Fried Steak. All of it was amazing. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. I ordered ranch dressing for my fries and was given home made ranch, not some watery bottles stuff. So incredibly good. My daughter devoured her Country Fried Steak as it was the best version she's ever had. The Caesar Salad also had freshly made dressing and croutons. For dessert we got a couple of gigantic coconut cupcakes. Also amazing! The service was fast and friendly and we left wanting to come back again. A great experience. read more

They are just all so good and their soup options are delicious as well. Such a cute spot and a place to enjoy the company of friends or family! So delicious! I got the western omelette and substituted the toast for pancakes and definitely couldn't finish it all! Staff was super friendly and helped us plan the rest of our day. After sipping on my double shot of espresso, my third eye was awakened. I am now able to see the dimensional plane all because of how absolutely busting and rich the espresso was. It had some nice crema and a nice feel on the tongue. Now to assess the meal, because a dining experience is not complete without a great bev and meal. The meal was mind blowing. I could tell that the potatoes were hand picked by the weathered hands of old folks that humbly lived on a farm. The bacon I could just tell was carefully sliced from a beautifully raised pig. The cook used these splendid cuts and preformed one of the greatest acts of all time, perfectly cooking to bacon to a degree that even a god would lay his life down for. I cant go into much more detail about the meal because my review is so long, but I will wrap up with some final thoughts. Although I ordered the basic breakfast, the components that the meal comprised of all cohered to create something extra ordinary. After eating the meal I realized that I had witnessed an achievement as impressive as winning a triple crown cup 5 times with a donkey. Please go here. I am begging you. Don't get caught up with the hype of this place. Prices are sky high for what you get and the food is average at best. The cheeseburger is good but should be priced at $8.95 or $9.95 instead of $12.95. The fries are supposed to be fresh cut, etc. but I've had frozen french fries that taste better. The scrambles have excellent ham but the portion size is ridiculously small. The potatoes are not very good. You can get better potatoes at breakfast in the Hampton Inn.......seriously. This place is fantastic. I am visiting a friend in Bigfork, MT, and we came here for breakfast. Not only is this place delicious, it's also really cheap. The pancakes are great and they're served with both maple and huckleberry syrups. All of the syrups and preserves come from the place next door that makes them by hand. They have all kinds of beautiful pies to ogle over when you walk in. And all the fruit served is delicious and beautiful. They're open for both breakfast and lunch. read more
