I decided to try this place because it had lunch Thali (specials) and chicken pumpkin which I thought was interesting. We went there early afternoon and got seated quickly. There's inside and outside seating. I decided on the chicken pumpkin thali, ordered pani puri and a mango lassi. My friend ordered the chicken tikka masala thali. The thali comes in a metal lunch style tray. In each section is something different. It comes with rice, salad, daal, naan, papad, avocado raita, potato cucumber achar, and your choice of the entrees listed. The pani puri came out fast. The dough shells were crispy and filled with a spiced mashed potato filling. The tangy flavor water helped cut through the filling. Just dont put too much of the water on it. The mango lassi was good, a little on the sweeter side. I got the chicken pumpkin medium spicy, which felt like a medium. Chicken pumpkin was velvety, had a decent amount of chicken pieces although a little dry. I could taste the pumpkin which had sweetness. I feel for the price of the lunch Thali ranging from $18-21 depending which entree is a good deal since you can try a few different dishes/sides. I wouldn't mine coming again to try other dishes or happy hour.

So if you ever go to this place as I don't recommend it, be sure to check your bill. As we finished paying, another waitress comes up and hands me a receipt. As I tell her that I already paid, she looked at me confusingly and tried to solve the issue. As she went from worker to worker, I see her point at me multiple times going to every worker that wasn't the one I told her that took our payment. She finally goes to the waiter that took our payment and they try to sort everything out. He asks that I check my bank account to see if it went through, which it did. Then the people who were working at the bar, I assume they were the managers or higher ups, came and suggested that I pay again and to call them if both payments went through so that they cancel the other one. This to me made no sense to why I have to personally call them when I can dispute it with my bank. Also why can't they just cancel the previous one, since they suggested I had to call them, and I pay again. The whole back and forth was very confusing. Then when I tried to pay again, it said "you used this card 13 minutes ago do you want to use it again". After believing that I didn't pay the whole time, suddenly when that popped up they finally understood that I did pay before. For some reason they didn't believe the waiter when he told them that I did pay. There was a lack of communication and trust on their part as well. The waiter was completely apologetic but the other staff did not apologize for berating me. When asking about the overcharge and why it was higher, the waiter said "I don't know" which made me confused as to why. Upon reading the other reviews, I understand that this is a repeated occurrence so be warned. The food, service, ambiance was alright before but not worth the experience. I would not go again.

The chicken tikka masala is a classic and definitely worth getting; it's flavorful and reliably good every time. But what really surprised me was the shrimp curry. I went in expecting the shrimp to be a bit overcooked or limited in quantity, but that wasn't the case at all. The shrimp were actually cooked really well and there was a generous amount in the dish, making it feel like a great value. One thing to keep in mind, rice doesn't automatically come with the curries, so you'll have to order it separately if you want it. That said, we usually skip the rice and go for naan instead, specifically the potato naan and garlic naan. Between the two, you get a really nice contrast in texture. The potato naan is thicker, soft, and fluffy on the inside, almost like a comforting, filled bread, while the garlic naan is thinner with a slightly crispy edge. Make sure not to sleep on the free chai tea, it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Off to the right of the cashier desk, there's a little self-serve station with cups, sugar packets, stir sticks, and a large container filled with hot chai. You can pour as much as you want, whenever you want, which is a nice touch and a great way to round out the meal. One thing to note about the atmosphere: there are occasional slow periods where the place can get really quiet, and you might even find yourself as the only table there. It can feel a little awkward in those moments, but it just depends on the time of day. When it's busy, though, it has a much more lively, energetic feel. Overall, it's a solid, low-key spot with good food, a family-friendly environment, and a few nice little perks that make it stand out.

Around 12 pm, the hostess came in and was shocked to see us. She apologized for being late and wanted to get our orders but we told her the cook already got them. After waiting for about 50 mins, we finally got our orders. The food was AMAZING. Starting with the chicken sekuwa. It was a complete 10/10. I would definitely come back just for this. It was seasoned to perfection, very tender and juicy. The C Momo was very crispy and covered in a nice sweet chilli sauce. They're like deep fried dumplings. I would give it an 8/10. The lamb curry was very savory and filling. We got that with some rice and roti. It paired very well. I would also rate that an 8/10. The lamb thali was good but I think I was overwhelmed with everything on the plate. It was not bad, the lamb and lentil soup were good but I think I did not know how best to eat it so I could not fully appreciate it. I would give it a 6.5 The thai iced tea was pretty standard one. Very nice and not too sweet. 8/10 for ne The food here was pretty remarkable. I usually don't care about 'bad' service but this one really had a huge impact and stopped me from giving it a higher rating. I would not be too keen on coming back here with how understaffed they are but I do understand.
