Soaked mattress from being kept unwrapped in the rain.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! They sent 2 of the slowest movers I've ever seen. They moved a 1 bd apt in 8 HOURS. That's insane! They will milk the clock so they can charge you more. I literally had to tell the guys to go faster and they just ignored me. In one hour, to a 2nd floor apt where the walk was less than 100 ft from the truck to the door, they moved in 1 chair, 1 small standing desk and 5 boxes. You can't tell me they weren't milking the clock to get more $! Pictures will show you how terrible of a job they did. They didn't wrap our mattress enough so it was soaked from sitting in the rain for who knows how long. Fragile boxes were just thrown places and stacked with heavy boxes on top of them. The 2nd part of this (and perhaps the worst part of it) is the owner, Dmitriy Satir. I called the office (which is closed on the weekends by the way - no one on call - no supervisor to reach DURING my move which is not professional or industry standard) and left multiple voicemails and sent more than one email with pictures to their generic email address. No personal email or phone number to contact them directly. They wouldn't want you to be able to do that! My move was on a Saturday so when Monday afternoon rolls around and I still hadn't heard a single word from them, I decided to call again. I finally get an answer after trying 3-5 times and Lisa, the front desk lady, proceeded to tell me that they had, in fact, discussed my situation in their morning meeting and that Dmitriy would get back to me this afternoon with an email. AN EMAIL?! After your employees destroyed my things and charged me $1400 for a 1bd move that didn't even include packing, unpacking, or setting anything up. Short of one TV that needed to be dismounted, they literally just loaded and unloaded. 8.5 hours. I worked in the moving industry for 3 years and this move should've taken 6 hours tops. But they were slow and didn't care. So imagine the level of anger I achieved when I learned the "owner" was too scared to handle his business and hid behind his email address. If you weren't in the wrong, why ignore me for so long and not call me? He never actually picked up the phone and talked to me but then he offered me $100 to cover the cost of my destroyed mattress. He hides behind his "customer service" email bc he's too concerned about making videos and podcasts about an industry he clearly knows nothing about. Whe they ignored me and then tried to gaslight me into thinking I'm the crazy, irrational one when it's my things that I'm paying $1400 for HIS employees to destroy. Anyone would be mad if there was no ownership of the mistake and then was deliberately ignored for days. Had I not reached out, they would've avoided me forever. Try avoiding this guys!!

    Grand piano

I hired PNW Moving and Delivery to move my grand piano that was stored for several years. They were able to move the piano quickly and safely to the new location without any issues. Would definitely recommend if someone needs something moved.

Buyer beware - Do Not use PNW Movers. #1 - They did a poor job packing, even on items where we had agreed to the approach, resulting in damaged good #2 - they were very inefficient -- lots of chatting and not bringing the right packaging products, creating multiple trips to UHaul stores and costing me extra money on time and #3 - despite their commitment both to having coverage and to making things right through a refund, they are now backing out on their promise. Details below. I used PNW to pack my apartment into a 17' UHaul for a move to CA. Before the move, I had confirmed via text message that I had some fragile items, that I wanted to make sure my mattresses were wrapped etc (you'll see from the pictures that didn't happen). I had 3 mattress bags and was told the other could be shrink wrapped. I shared pictures so that they could bring the right packing materials which they said they were on. While Jamal seemed professional, his otherpacker (John), was a chatty cathy, talking more than packing, wasting both time and money. Twice after he stated the kitchen was finished, I had to open cabinets and see what he had missed. I had put the small number of items I needed wrapped carefully in one area and yet I found him taking a fragile glass plate and putting it on the top of pots and pans without wrapping. Fortunately we caught that. While Jamal was more efficient and a better packer, they were still unorganized. Even though I sent photos beforehand and a full inventory list, the two of them kept running out of boxes, and made 3 trips to the U-Haul store during that day (plus the 1 I made), and suboptimized the packing to the extent that some of the kitchen stuff was packed into large boxes so heavy that even my unpackers had to use both guys to unload them. I would have been screwed if my boyfriend and I had had to move that on my own. At the end, they were stuffing things into whatever box or bags they could find and shoving it into the Uhaul. Unfortunately, I didn't get a final picture of that. Once the packers finished, we closed up the Uhaul and drove to CA, not opening it until we arrived. You can imagine my surprise to find that the guys had thrown a bag of cleaning products into a black plastic bag (again, they had run out of boxes towards the end) and put it somewhere on top of the items. As you can see from the pictures, there was detergent everywhere. While I had been supervising, I missed that they had *NOT* wrapped the boxspring, which has detergent all over it. I've already had to throw out some repair one piece of art and throw out some other items of sentimental value. And, since I moved into storage (and John didn't keep my fragile items together but rather scattered them everywhere), there are some items missing such that I don't even know the extent of all the damage.Furthermore, while they had packed the art, they had not put down a blanket or sufficient padding to keep the packaging from tearing on the drive. Several of my frames are damaged. Even outside of these items, they did a sloppy job. If you look at the photos you can see that they put a heavy lamp base on a laundry hamper, stacked my bike on top of it with no padding in between and laid that bike directly on a piece of wood furniture, scratching everything in the process. Despite that, the worst part has been the experience since and their underhanded behavior. I understand small businesses have issues and that sometimes you hire a bad egg (John). Jamal and I communicated multiple times and promised to make it right and to get me a refund. He even told me the check was ready (see the text photo) but I knew something was fishy because he wouldn't tell me when he was putting it in the mail. I didn't put up a review because i felt that if a business makes a mistake but does right by it (they let that guy go which they did and gave me the refund) that they'd take care of other customers, good or bad. However after 4 weeks of promises, I told him if i didn't hear from someone I would have to share this publically as I couldn't in good conscious let others hire them Today I finally heard from Angela, the other owner, who is not honoring Jamal's commitment, said they no longer use Square so she can't even tell me how she's going to refund me (she wouldn't even commit to sending a check)and is questioning whether this was their doing. I have just called my credit card company to see what they can do. These guys advertise themselves as insured and therefore the safe option however had I known then what I am sharing here, I never would have worked with them. It's been a waste of my time and money. Don't waste your time and money as well. There are plenty of great movers out there who will honor their word and make sure your things are appropriately packed to transport safely and undamaged. After all, isn't that what one hires movers for?

    Blood wiped on the wall.

I had an overly negative experience with PNW Moving. Things started out really well. The owner Dmitriy contacted me promptly and agreed to the date I requested. I was really excited to have a reputable mover respond so quickly. At the time PNW Moving had a Yelp 5-star rating, but since then a 3-star popped up and two of the 5-stars were removed from the rating calculation. On the day of the move I received a call that the truck would be 1-hour late because they were late getting started. I had to call the driver multiple times to figure out what was going on ("traffic," despite Google only reporting 12 minute delays and WSDOT not reporting any incidents). They ended up arriving 2 hours 20 minutes late. I was very worried about this because I have limited time on my elevator reservations at both condos. I kept reminding the crew that we had to move quickly because of this problem but there was limited urgency. They parked their (kind of sketchy looking, unmarked) truck down the alley and took a long time between trips (20 - 30 min or so). With a ton of micromanaged we managed to get everything moved mostly on-time. Overall, I didn't think the crew was very careful. They made limited use of pads and almost moved an expensive coffee table "as is" until I pointed out that it had a glass shelf. My couch was scraped through the door frame until I stopped them and explained that it should be turned on its side. There was also damage. They smashed a light in the common area of the building and wiped blood on the wall. The crew denies wiping blood but this was confirmed by concierge who did a pre-inspection of the hallway that morning. I will say the move was very cheap. It ended up being half the price of some of the brand-name movers which was nice to see. I was thinking about giving a 2 or 3 star rating, depending on Dmitriy's response but I have received none. I've e-mailed via Yelp twice and received no response. At a minimum, I would like the company to communicate with me and agree to pay for the common area damages.

    Individual items wrapped and loaded.

Great company with great service. Defenit set the golden standard for all other company's.

Email from Dmitriy scheduling the meeting time!!

The service was poor. Crew members weren't properly taking instructions and got rude when attempting to explain.

A couple times I had questions about charges on the invoice and the accounting guy was quick to sort things out. The phone dispatchers are way nicer than, say, the average person you talk to when calling a cab. Fleetfoot serves the greater Seattle area by bike, car and truck. Many delivery options available including same day, 2 hour, and Rush. Reasonable charges; you can set up an account or make it a one time deal; they accept cash, card, or check. I think they can actually deliver anywhere in the state, just not in one hour! Orders can be placed ahead of time or as needed. They will deliver just about anything (including sealed alcoholic beverages) except meals, hazardous/illegal materials, precious gems and framed artwork. Regular hours of operation are M - F 7:30am - 5:30pm but after hours deliveries can be arranged. Some of my fondest memories of having an office job are from watching the punk bike messengers and suit - clad businessmen eyeing each other warily in the elevator . Good times. These guys are probably more honest than your average businessman, so for all your courier needs I highly recommend Fleetfoot.
