I usually don't do reviews but honestly I'm glad I took my car to Plus 1 Performance. PAUL and his guys put a smile on my face after I had been stressing about my car for days. I just purchased a 1999 lexsus and almost everything was wrong with the car. I was low on money but Paul gave me an option to try n get my tires on credit with 0% interest rate for 6 months. I went in to patch a Leak on my tire but walked away with a whole lot. Diagnostics and brand new tires at a very affordable rate. Thank u Paul and the whole Plus 1 Performance crew. I wouldnt give any stars if I could. HORRIBLE!!!!! Charged 200$ for chains w no refund KNOWING they wouldn't work. We bought them before going up the mountain and the chain installer took 1 look at them and said, those chains are gonna work you have to put weight in the bed of your truck or get new chains. So we scoops 400lbs of ice into the back. Literally. They still didn't work. Imagine the frustration in 43 degree weather and dealing with that shit. I should've known by the look the guy kept giving us. fucking assholes you work at a tire shop you obviously KNOW what's gonna work and what's not. Karma is a way bigger bitch than this review. These chains are about 75$ everywhere else. We just had big tires so we got them here. Honestly. Speechless read more

Even helped us with an install tutorial and helped show us how to do it. They were professional, accommodating and know what they are talking about. So I've never been to their shop or had work done there but by how their door to door sales person acts I don't want to. I'd be afraid they would mess up my car. There employee came into my store and asked to leave some coupons and when I said I only need a few not the 50 he tried to give me he gave me a disgusted look and then threw my door open so hard it knocked over a display. Also he didn't even offer to help pick things up. I've never seen a sales person so rude. So no I will not promote your business, your coupons have now been torn up and thrown away. read more

Took my car because my AC wasn't working. Charged me 68 bucks to check it. First time I called they said they didn't find anything wrong then they call me an hour later and tell me they found 3 things wrong and with parts & labor it will come out to 1,200! So I went somewhere else and they fix my AC and charged me 80 dollars. I will never come back to this place. Disappointing! I have two kids and really needed my AC. Horrible people. Talk a good talk but only to get deeper in your pockets. "Helped" me get financed then ran the card that was supplied through them by synchrony bank without permission. Stuck with a $200 bill for letting them do me a "favor". Started using yelp just to warn people about this place. They do not sell used tires so if youre getting a tire replaced expect a tire that is not the size you requested nor is the service you woumd send friends or family too. May know what theyre doing under the hood but will get every last cent that thwy can squeeze out of you. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Not a good place to go if you pay attention to the details. I went in to get a battery for my truck, I came out with a $463 bill 5.5 hours later. Yikes! While I can give all the details of my bad experience, I will share one detail. I was promised a good brand (Delco) battery and received a non-brand one that looks refurbished, all while getting billed like I received an incredible battery! Lou is a special person who has been a service advisor for my Acura for a decade. When I heard Lou was out of retirement and working for Plus 1 I decided to give this outfit a try. Well, my trust in this guy and my new experience with the owner and his operation made me a believer. Automotive repair and maintenance is expensive. For some, it is the difference between food on the table or a brake job. Shouldn't be that way but it is nice to know this owner seems to be real and caring. Give them a try. read more

I'm very happy with my experience here. In dire need of a patch as my tire quickly deflated, I pulled over and did a quick search on yelp for a legit place. Seeing the promising reviews, I called for a quote, and the lady I spoke with on the phone was kind and helpful. What was also nice was that I was able to use a yelp deal that saved me some money on the service which included the patch, air and rebalancing. Staff was welcoming and friendly, and although the place seemed busy, the service didn't take long. I was back on the road with my "new" tire. My husband and I can not say enough great things about this shop and all of the men here. We were towing our 32 foot fifth wheel down from Big Bear and the master cylinder went out and we lost truck brakes. Thankfully my husband was skilled enough to get us down safely using the trailer brakes alone. We had called a head to Plus 1 and they said they would do their best to help us that day. From the moment we got there, they put all efforts to getting us in the road again. They gave me water and had a comfortable couch to sit on. We could watch the repair through a TV monitor in the office. They even offered us a loaner car to go eat at a restaurant down the street if desired. Parts arrived promptly. I had a new set of tires installed and a full alignment performed on my wife's car. I could not be happier with the service I received, first of all due to having a specific tire that I wanted most of the other shops told me that they didn't have it but they could order it in a week or two. Plus 1 went out of their way to get the tires the same day. I had a appointment with my doctor and as the car would not have been done before my appointment they again went out of their way to give me a ride home to get my truck so that I could make it on time. Not many companies will go out of their way for their customers these days, but I will continue to give my money to those who do, Plus 1 is one of those companies and I will be back. read more

Paul, the owner of Plus 1 performance was awesome. I was referred to him by Big Bear Towing. Our van broke down on the way up to Big Bear and after a stressful night, we were finally able to get the Van down the mountain and I called Plus 1 Performance. Paul's shop was open, even on a Sunday and was able to get it up and running to get us home. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. They got it done fast and even had time to get a car wash done. If you need chains this is the place to go! I'm not normally a review writer but this company deserved it. After trying three sets at auto zone and failing miserably we went to pep boys who also had nothing to offer but sent us to Plus 1 Tire Pro. We came here and worked with Paul who helped us find the exact chains needed. We even tired on a few sets to see what we liked and to make sure they would fit properly.
