I wouldnt give any stars if I could. HORRIBLE!!!!! Charged 200$ for chains w no refund KNOWING they wouldn't work. We bought them before going up the mountain and the chain installer took 1 look at them and said, those chains are gonna work you have to put weight in the bed of your truck or get new chains. So we scoops 400lbs of ice into the back. Literally. They still didn't work. Imagine the frustration in 43 degree weather and dealing with that shit. I should've known by the look the guy kept giving us. fucking assholes you work at a tire shop you obviously KNOW what's gonna work and what's not. Karma is a way bigger bitch than this review. These chains are about 75$ everywhere else. We just had big tires so we got them here. Honestly. Speechless read more

I just want to give a shout out to all the guys at Plus 1 Performance especially the owner Paul!! I brought in my wife Mercedes over the weekend for a 30k service and as usual they were very informative, precise, honest and speedy in their service of my wife's car. I've been bringing my own Mercedes here for the past 5 years because they are very knowledgably in their expertise when it comes to working on German cars. So thanks guys and keep up the great work and see you when our next oil change is due. read more

So I've never been to their shop or had work done there but by how their door to door sales person acts I don't want to. I'd be afraid they would mess up my car. There employee came into my store and asked to leave some coupons and when I said I only need a few not the 50 he tried to give me he gave me a disgusted look and then threw my door open so hard it knocked over a display. Also he didn't even offer to help pick things up. I've never seen a sales person so rude. So no I will not promote your business, your coupons have now been torn up and thrown away. read more

Took my car because my AC wasn't working. Charged me 68 bucks to check it. First time I called they said they didn't find anything wrong then they call me an hour later and tell me they found 3 things wrong and with parts & labor it will come out to 1,200! So I went somewhere else and they fix my AC and charged me 80 dollars. I will never come back to this place. Disappointing! I have two kids and really needed my AC. Horrible people. I'm glad I went somewhere else for a second opinion. read more

Been going for two-ish years now, Great service and helpful at explaining what my car needs! Never had any issues. I can always get an appointment within the week. read more

Wonderful shop! We stopped here to get snow tires on our way to Big Bear, and the gentleman that helped us was very polite and helpful.

Talk a good talk but only to get deeper in your pockets. "Helped" me get financed then ran the card that was supplied through them by synchrony bank without permission. Stuck with a $200 bill for letting them do me a "favor". Started using yelp just to warn people about this place. They do not sell used tires so if youre getting a tire replaced expect a tire that is not the size you requested nor is the service you woumd send friends or family too. May know what theyre doing under the hood but will get every last cent that thwy can squeeze out of you. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Great service. They repaired my tire really fast and checked my other tires from just a walk in customer.

Not a good place to go if you pay attention to the details. I went in to get a battery for my truck, I came out with a $463 bill 5.5 hours later. Yikes! While I can give all the details of my bad experience, I will share one detail. I was promised a good brand (Delco) battery and received a non-brand one that looks refurbished, all while getting billed like I received an incredible battery! I will never come close to this place again! read more

Recently had the tores replaced on my Audi A5. Paul was great at finding the right tire at the right price. I was in and out very quickly. I would definitely return! read more

The boys here are outstanding! Paul the manager is friendly and his customer service is spot on. Came in to fix valve stem on my tire, had him rotate tires and patch my tire for $41. read more

Great service will be back soon, if you need tires with a decent price you won't be disappointed

I usually don't do reviews but honestly I'm glad I took my car to Plus 1 Performance. PAUL and his guys put a smile on my face after I had been stressing about my car for days. I just purchased a 1999 lexsus and almost everything was wrong with the car. I was low on money but Paul gave me an option to try n get my tires on credit with 0% interest rate for 6 months. I went in to patch a Leak on my tire but walked away with a whole lot. Diagnostics and brand new tires at a very affordable rate. Thank u Paul and the whole Plus 1 Performance crew. Now my car drives like its brand new!! read more

I love this place! Got my groupon discount which was amazing. Everyone in the office was super nice and helpful, as well were the mechanics! Very personable people and treated my car with such care! Definitely coming back :) read more

I'm very happy with my experience here. In dire need of a patch as my tire quickly deflated, I pulled over and did a quick search on yelp for a legit place. Seeing the promising reviews, I called for a quote, and the lady I spoke with on the phone was kind and helpful. What was also nice was that I was able to use a yelp deal that saved me some money on the service which included the patch, air and rebalancing. Staff was welcoming and friendly, and although the place seemed busy, the service didn't take long. I was back on the road with my "new" tire. Thanks guys, for your professionalism and friendly service. read more

Very nice people. Helpful and trustworthy! They recommended work that clearly needs to be done but understanding when it wasn't yet in my budget. They laid out three price options and THAT was greatly appreciated! They didn't judge me for my lack of responsibility as a car owner (my coolant reservoir was completely empty - had no idea ... they refilled it for me) Only 4 stars because they DON'T ACCEPT AMEX! read more

First timer. Great customer service. Needed an oil change after 2 places refused to service my car. They made it very clear what needed to be done, and helped me right away. Would diffidently come back again. read more

I just wanted to make a recommendation for Plus 1. I live in Highland and I feel very lucky to have such a fine establishment close by. I've gone to them for all sorts of tire needs and they've always been very accommodating and very quick! They even offered ride service back to my house if I was going to be there for some time. I always feel they are competitive on prices, but outside of that, I like knowing that my car is going to be well taken care of. Cheers. read more

This is my second time purchasing tires from this business. I only needed one tire on each car I took in. No pressure from Paul to purchase more tires. Service was fast and friendly. I shall be a return customer read more

We got a flat tire on highland ave due to construction... They took us in right away even though they were extremely busy. Great work and great price! read more

I had a new set of tires installed and a full alignment performed on my wife's car. I could not be happier with the service I received, first of all due to having a specific tire that I wanted most of the other shops told me that they didn't have it but they could order it in a week or two. Plus 1 went out of their way to get the tires the same day. I had a appointment with my doctor and as the car would not have been done before my appointment they again went out of their way to give me a ride home to get my truck so that I could make it on time. Not many companies will go out of their way for their customers these days, but I will continue to give my money to those who do, Plus 1 is one of those companies and I will be back. read more

We were headed to our mountain house for the holiday and chains were required. We stopped in and these guys gave us A+ service. Even helped us with an install tutorial and helped show us how to do it. They were professional, accommodating and know what they are talking about. Don't go to Walmart they sell you the wrong kind and they are final sale. Highly recommend Plus 1 instead! read more

Lou is a special person who has been a service advisor for my Acura for a decade. When I heard Lou was out of retirement and working for Plus 1 I decided to give this outfit a try. Well, my trust in this guy and my new experience with the owner and his operation made me a believer. Automotive repair and maintenance is expensive. For some, it is the difference between food on the table or a brake job. Shouldn't be that way but it is nice to know this owner seems to be real and caring. Give them a try. read more

Prices that are competitive and service was helpful. Location was super convenient but be careful the initial bill included the warranty without my requesting it. read more

This place was really helpful and quick for us! We hit a flat coming down the mountain and this place was super close. Their service was quick and they were really helpful. We were on our way to a wedding and in a rush, and they were very accommodating to us and even gave us a discount for our bent wheel even though we just asked for a tire patch up. The guys here are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place! read more

We've been coming to these guys for years. They are nice, honest and not pushy. They are a bit pricey BUT when you are a customer and need little things like a plug, nail removal, repair, slow leak...they are there for you! Even when you didn't buy the tire there. Thanks for always taking care of us plus one!! read more

Always helpful and friendly. Lou is a good guy! Overall good service and pretty accurate with how long they say things should take.

Their service was amazing!! I thought I needed a new tire for my car because that's what the honda dealer said, but I decided to get a second opinion and the Paul the guy at the front desk said let me take another look at it. He looked at it and it was repairable they were great!! read more

Was on the way to Big Bear with my son when I had a flat. We didn't want to miss some ski time so I tried to find a place on the way from LA. Thank goodness I found these guys. They even open up before hours to take care of us so we could hit the slopes. Highly recommended! Thanks for great service! read more

Great help and fast assistance! The staff were very nice and accommodating! Thank you!

Paul, the owner of Plus 1 performance was awesome. I was referred to him by Big Bear Towing. Our van broke down on the way up to Big Bear and after a stressful night, we were finally able to get the Van down the mountain and I called Plus 1 Performance. Paul's shop was open, even on a Sunday and was able to get it up and running to get us home. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. They got it done fast and even had time to get a car wash done. They were friendly and worked fast. Their main concern was to get us home which we appreciated greatly. Thank you again. read more

Gotta give 'em a five star. Did the smog test quickly without issue, of course it helps when you pass. Then got tires for my truck and they gave good advice for add ons. Will continue to use them. read more

My husband and I can not say enough great things about this shop and all of the men here. We were towing our 32 foot fifth wheel down from Big Bear and the master cylinder went out and we lost truck brakes. Thankfully my husband was skilled enough to get us down safely using the trailer brakes alone. We had called a head to Plus 1 and they said they would do their best to help us that day. From the moment we got there, they put all efforts to getting us in the road again. They gave me water and had a comfortable couch to sit on. We could watch the repair through a TV monitor in the office. They even offered us a loaner car to go eat at a restaurant down the street if desired. Parts arrived promptly. We were back on the road in 2-1/2 hours. Thank you all for helping us!! read more

Great group of professionals fast and efficient and pricing is competitive and best of all close to home.
