If you need chains this is the place to go! I'm not normally a review writer but this company deserved it. After trying three sets at auto zone and failing miserably we went to pep boys who also had nothing to offer but sent us to Plus 1 Tire Pro. We came here and worked with Paul who helped us find the exact chains needed. We even tired on a few sets to see what we liked and to make sure they would fit properly. Best Tire Shop (And Staff) I Ever Saw. I had a flat tire meltdown on a nearby mountain road, so we got VERY lucky when the tow-truck brought us to Plus 1 Performance. It was a Sunday and they were actually open on a holiday weekend, which was both amazing and fortunate. My tire size is uncommon, so we initially planned to leave the car overnight and then rent a car. Paul was all over the problem; calling other shops for the tire and also helping with a rental car as well. It was a stressful situation, since we live about 100 miles away and I would need to come back a day or two later. I was already impressed with Paul's customer service, but then his creativity impressed me even more when he found a perfectly-fitting used tire that would get us home. They were able to get the old melted and mangled tire replaced in less than an hour. During our wait, Paul walked me though 'Tires 101' and educated me on what I should be doing differently with the special type of tires required for my sports car. We did some web research and discussed the pros and cons of different brands and features. All of this excellent advice was provided with the assumption that he would not be getting the business since we lived so far away. He actually was able to find and recommend an excellent tire shop in our neighborhood. Wow. read more

My wife called me this morning worried about the brakes going completely out in her mother's truck. I quickly googled shops in the area and found this one. Upon her arrival she was really impressed with how courteous and friendly everyone was. They did a free diagnostic and found that pads, calipers, and rotors needed to be replaced. The quote for all this was 1,400. Because it wasn't her car she had to wait around until her mom was out of work and ask her what she wanted to do. Again, they were very polite and understanding of the situation. My wife was there for four hours and was treated very nicely. After finally getting in contact with her mother, they decided to have it towed to their local garage in another town. Once again, my wife was amazed by their understanding, I was super glad that they were treating her so well. They got the truck towed to their local garage and their estimate for all three repairs was 285 with warranties. Be careful about who you trust, even the devil was an angel once. Dont trust a big butt and a smile. "Facts do not exist..only interpretations". Random quotes aside, our interpretaion of that situation is a negative one. read more

I have an older model Toyota Camry, about a year and a half ago it started doing this clunking and jerking when I stopped and sometimes when accelerating. The second my Lexus warranty was up, I made the move here for all of my vehicle's services and have not looked back. My family, friends and I have been extremely satisfied with their work. Thanks to great warranties, the tire coverage is wonderful. I feel completely safe in the car with the service it gets. The car is going on ten years old and still runs great, I am sure, thanks to their service. A few years ago, my car nearly drowned when I drove it into a puddle of water while on my way to work during the storms of 2009 or 2010 that was deceptively larger than it appeared. My car was hydro locked and I thought my car would never drive again. When all hope was seemingly lost, they were my car's last ray of hope. After I had the car taken to their garage, they managed to resuscitate it and within hours it was running like nothing had happened. They were also kind enough to give me updates throughout the day-- so pretty much after that amazing feat, I will always trust their work. Been a long time customer. However, I will no longer go here. First, the price is no longer competitive. Secondly, management seems to have adopted some of the bad practices with up sale; high pressure; and "customer-based", instead of service-based, pricing. For my last service, had brake pads replace. Total prices for the job was north of $550. I should have walk out and gone to Master Brakes in Redlands. Unfortunately, I have had decent service from this place before, a set of tires, multiple oil changes, one alignment service, and one major engine service. At those times, the prices weren't low, but the sale person always explain what is done, and offer any discount that is currently run by the shop. In other word, I had some trusts. This turn out to be mis-guided. One, I learned later that there was a special on brake service. I suspect it is not offer unless you asked. Two, I discovered that everything was replaced, the pad, the pinning, and the rotor. I was never asked if I wanted these done. Everything was included. I understand that Plus One has a right to do this as a business. As a consumer, I am going to take future business elsewhere. read more

What an amazing shop. On December 22 and it's pouring rain. My dad told me, my tire looks flat and needed to put my spare on. I was frustrated because I still needed to get people Christmas gifts and did not need to buy a tire at this moment. I didn't have a jack in my car so, I drove to places that may have one. I drove to Plus One and I met Paul, he saw my concern and asked how he can help me. I ask him if I may borrow a jack so I can put my spare on. He said, just bring your car in the shop and we'll do it for you. I was surprised by the response I got so, I drove my car to the shop and he said my tire is still good. He told one of his crew members to check my tires and my tire was low. Not only he check that tire he also checked all my tires including my spare tire. All this was done without a charge. I went here for flat fix and was told 45 minutes to 1 hour. Then I waited 2 1/2 hours while hearing every customer being traded up to more expensive services such as tire warranty, break repairs, and shock absorbers. They were trying to explain why my tire could not be fixed and I needed to buy a new one. It was a holiday so I told them to mount the temporary spare and get me out of there. The next day, I went to my regular tire store who had to undo their work and start all over again. That tire I was told could not be fixed, my regular shop fixed that one about 5,000 miles ago. I came in because of the special they ran in the Pennysaver for alignment. 3 hours later I was done. The employees were commenting it was a slow Saturday. Well I wonder how long it would take on a busy Saturday. No feedback from the alignment like everything looked good, etc. Just throw me the diagnostic and have me figure out what -32 means on the camber. While I was there I got the impression that this was for the rich-those who could toss around some bucks and get add-ons, performance this and that. Not a place for me to do business, even though I live in the East Highlands Ranch and own 2 houses there. While there I heard other issues on service-one lady called to check on her car and good thing she did. The mechanic had abandoned it and left it for the supervisor to test drive, but it was just sitting there with no one working on it. They had someone come in about smog check and they sent them to downtown Highland, even though East Highlands Auto Tech next door does smog check. Figure that out? I came here several years ago and I have wondered why I never came back, now I know. read more

Since I had my own coolant (vehicle requires a special kind) I was told it would be $60 off. However when it was written up the following morning it ended up being $114 (only $6 less than the quote the evening prior including all parts and labor). The owner Paul, the cute manager (Deborah?) and staff are very honest, reliable and friendly. I had a flat tire near this shop and happen to talk to the owner. After removing the tire, he took the time to show me that the leak was caused by the tire wearing unevenly (factory flaw on my car) and took the time to show me the damaged tire, so I was comfortable purchasing two brand new replacement tires for much cheaper than dealer, in stock! While I was at it, I asked him to change my oil, and after taking a glance at it, informed me that he could, but did not recommend it because my oil was still fresh.
