Got a call at work from my wife telling me that a tire on our truck was flat. Left work early to have it repaired. Took it to a local tire shop that patched it but then would NOT remount it on the rim saying that they didn't think the repair would hold. (Punctured by a fairly large object on the tread) Long story short, I took my tire and rim and cut my losses. Won't be going back there. After reading the reviews and Bio on YELP, I decided to give PLUS 1 a try. Was greeted by Paul and told him what had happened. He said he would have the tire remounted on the rim and test the repair (which the other shop should have done) and go from there. I'm thinking I might have to buy at least 2 new tires but it turns out the repair held air. So, I asked him to to rotate the tires and in a little over an hour I was on my way home. Customer service was Excellent. Paul is very friendly and helpful. It's a little farther for me to drive to, but I'll definitely be coming back for service on my truck. read more

Pretty good place. I do take my car to other shops, but this is usually my "go-to" shop for great work. The workers are very nice and upfront. The prices are decent. I could get my car done someplace for cheaper, but I like this place because I will usually leave knowing that I wasn't screwed over and that they actually did do quality work on my car. It's not like I can go back myself and check the work they did, so that assurance is very important. read more

They were able to do a lighting quick patch on my tire and have me back on the road in no time on a Saturday. The gentleman were really helpful and polite. I had a Auto Service in Redlands, Pit Stop, who was absolutely horrible. I meet Paul at Plus 1 Performance through the Highland Chamber of Commerce. He has helped me resolve numerous mechanical problems cause by service of horrible service at Pit Stop. He has an honest business with a level of customer service that you just can't find in the Auto Service Industry. His workers are respectfully and always explaining what they did and to show me the old parts and why things had to be replaced. No one has done this before. It was a Sunday. I noticed a water leak under my truck. Oh great I had to leave by 12 pm. to drive to Southern Nevada on Monday the next day. What to do. Of course without a thought I went to my favorite place, Plus 1 Performance. They were open! I spoke with Joe. Who was friendly and courtesy. It was no problem. He called me back quickly and assured that it could be done by Monday at 12 pm. I went in to pick up at 11 am on Monday. As promised it was ready for me, and done early. NEVER GET ANOTHER DOLLAR. Last week I bought a set of tires here for my wife's car. While I was there I asked Paul how much to install tires on a set of wheels. He told me $71. Yesterday when I arrived with four tires and wheels for my hot rod to be mounted and balanced, I was told it would be $100 because I bought the tires elsewhere. I have spent, over the years, over $8000 on tires and other work at this place and you would think that when I balked at the new price, Paul would have installed the tires for what he had quoted. They were already off of the car! He declined to do that, so I took them to the used tire place on 5th and had them done without a hassle. Not a big deal right? A shame to lose a customer for $29. Turns out there are plenty of tire shops that do not treat car guys like they were there to buy a used car. I'm done.... read more

I had a tire blowout recently in Moreno Valley. I stopped into Big O Tires on Sunnymead, and they have me a quick quote on my Continental tire that I needed; really good price, but I didn't have the time to wait approximately 2-3 hours (what they told me it would take to order, pick up, & install) So I drove back to Highland, where I live, and I googled "tire shops near me". Plus One Tire Pros came up, so I took a ride over, and I was sooo glad I did. Paul went over and above to take care of me. He ordered my tire, had someone go pick it up, then install it; AND I had my oil changed there, too!! I even told them Big O was cheaper; Paul called them while I was there, and he price-matched Big O's price. I was in and out of there in a little over an hour! Excellent, considering they had to order and pickup my tire, plus do the work. This is an excellent business. They are very professional, trustworthy and accommodating. First time here, we purchased a new tire because ours kept getting low. Paid $165 for one tire. A few hours later that tire was also low. We took the tire back. We were told the tire was good but our rim was broken n the rim was the problem not the tire. We agreed to get the rim fixed for $150. Two days later we got a call saying the rim was ready, however, the tire was damaged due to the rim being cracked and i needed to purchase ANOTHER tire! I tried speaking to manager Paul . I asked why didnt they call me first when they found out the new tire had been damaged? His response..what difference would that have made? Really..i could have said either dont fix the rim and i purchase a different tire..still my choice..but he says what difference???? Then told me he would sell me another tire for 89$ . I will never return here..or recommend anyone there..i will be reporting to better business Bureau read more
