Rico was awesome! My mom came in for an oil change and they gave her great service and were super nice, so she suggested them to me. I actually had taken my car somewhere else out of town for an oil change, and those guys didn't bolt a piece of my car back into place. I ended up dragging the metal piece all the way home from OC. I took it to Grease Monkey and they fixed it in less than 5 minutes, and it wasn't even their job to fix it. I so appreciate finding good service from people who actually care. It's rare to find people who want to help others. A little bit of my faith in humanity was restored by that act of kindness. I'll be going here for everything from now on. The manager Daniel Resendez is a joke. Horrible customer service and tries to force unwanted repairs on you. No problems at all with the rest of the staff, but Daniel is a self absorbed narcissist who thinks just because he's the manager, he could do whatever he wants, and say whatever he wants to people. Then has the nerve to cry about it when you question his authority. Obviously he's taking his manager title too far. As long as he is there, I would avoid this location. read more

I took my car in for an oil change and I also needed some mechanical work done at this point I had no idea that grease monkey had mechanics on hand at the highland location so to my surprise not only did they help me with the oil change but a gentleman by the name of SHYNE who I believe is the head mechanic at this location helped me with all the mechanical issues I was having! Avoid if you care about your time, money and car. I went there for an oil change and tire rotation. They stripped the bold of the wheel, to nearly an entire day to try and fix it and then they broke my brake, and tire pressure sensor and their employee attacked me when I took the car in to have it fixed. Got my oil changed here a few weeks ago. Service was great. Extremely clean and courteous place. I had a conversation with the manager about brakes that was very helpful. Brought my truck in today and asked them to look at my brakes. They weren't working that well. They looked into as soon as I got there. They determined that my brakes were fine and that could have been another issue. After our discussion we discovered that it was a manufacturer recall. Very rude customer service by staff and manager. I was told ,get him out of here and do not return. I was charged 345.00 dollars and brought in my car with a code of P0401 and check engine light because I needed to pass the smog check. My car failed to pass and when I went back Shy said, "I knew he was going to pull that sh**. They were rude, used fowl language and disrespectful. Do not go there. Very glad to see Grease Monkey back at the little shopping plaza at the SW corner of Baseline x Boulder (south of the AAA Insurance office) in Highland, CA. Brought my rig in for an oil change/inspection, had a good conversation with the manager, and opted for full synthetic oil (which I wouldn't do with a junker, but would do for any vehicle you want to last 1000's of miles longer). Service time was reasonable for techs actually following the service check list, and all my questions were answered. I received a list of the many other services Grease Monkey performs, and an unexpected $20 discount to boot. Next task is an AC system check and full recharge, and I'll be bringing the rig to Grease Monkey for that too. read more

They had him in & out within half an hour, and with their friendly staff, it made that time go by very quickly. I've never heard of Grease Monkey before, but I decided to stop by and give them a shot. Like other oil change places, they went through the usual," what oil I want to use?" I figured this will be the same quick lube experience everywhere else and... I could not have been more wrong! To start, I asked what would he suggest and in my mind he is going to say the more expensive oil is the best... However, he just said "always go with your owners manuals suggestion, but this is your car, you tell me what you want to use and I'll use it." Well damn I thought! I've always gotten the staredown sensation when I didn't pick an expensive oil, but the guys here just smiled and said " it's your car, and your choice. I just remind you what the the people who made your car suggest." They pulled my car in, started checking the lights, fluids, filters, cleaning my windows, all while we were inside the lobby gathering my info. By the time I know it, they had my inspection ready. He showed my filters along with a new one and simply said"this is your filter and this is a new one for $19.99. Which one do you want me to put back in?" I picked the old one and again... No cold shoulder, just a smile and a," you got it!" Went over my owners manual for other services and even put into the system the stuff I did somewhere else so they can also track my cars other services. At the end of it all, it took 15 minutes from when I got out of my car, and it was ready to go! This has been one of the best experiences I've ever witnessed, and not once did I feel pressured to do anything else, and the prices for their other stuff are actually pretty cheap.
