What a bunch of crooks! In response to contact you, the truck is fixed now although my Neice did get to sit outside your shop for hours waiting for the tow truck. He asked me what services I needed and I told him an oil change and smog check. He told me to come right in and they'd be happy to help. I was checked in and out in an hour. But little did they (we find out half way up the mountain) that on a pick up truck we needed weight in the trunk... Half way up the mountain we shoveled snow.. Then even after that it still didn't work. We needed the thick heavy duty chains and they sold us the wrong ones and specified they will NOT accept an exchange or refund???? Shady. We were getting our car washed nearby & saw this tire shop. We were planing to go to our usual tire place, when we decided to walk across the way to check prices while our car was being washed. The sales guy was nice and offered us a deal since the tires we wanted were not in stock. He explained their warranty on tires which we opted to purchase. They repair, fix & rotate for free with the warranty. If you need to replace the tire, you also get a discount using the warranty. As they replaced all 4 of our tires, they inspected the rest of the vehicle & reported to us that we will need to replace the brakes soon. I went in to get my flat tire patched. They said that the tire couldn't be fixed and that I would need a new one. They didn't even let me see the tire. I changed the tire and put on my spare. The tire didn't look like it was demolished it was flat . They told me it would be 169 dollars for one tire. I feel like In that moment they took advantage of me because I was young and dumb and in a rush to get back to work. Sadly I agreed and paid for it. These guys are great here. Very friendly. I was having lunch down the street and when walked out to my car to leave I noticed my front right tire was almost completely flat. I was able to drive it to Plus 1 and asked them if they could take a look. I had a small nail that punctured the tire. Went there to get an oil change for my 2003 Honda Accord, only 84,000 miles on it. The gentleman informed me (before I gave him the mileage) that the car needed a high mileage oil change and I should use synthetic oil. The cost $75. OR I could get a conventional oil change for $45, but the oil light would come on because it wasn't the proper oil. My father who has worked in the automobile industry for most of his life and is ASE certified said this wasn't true. My father said the only reason why the light would come on is because they didn't put enough oil in the car. I ended up taking the car to Walmart. Got a conventional oil change with Castrol oil and paid $35. No issues. Clearly Plus One Performance thought I was an idiot and tried to way over charge me. I will never return. read more

So we were on our way to Big Bear when we got a flat tire, and we brought the car to the closest place to get it patched, and it was this place! The front desk man says that it's $32.05 if they have to patch it, and $20 if nothing is wrong just for the inspection. We wait around for about 45 minutes when the front desk guy comes back and says they found the leak and patched it, so he charged us $32.05 and we left to go up the mountain. Not even 3 minutes after we left, the tire was flat again. We brought it back to this place, and as we pulled up, the man who worked on our car asked what was wrong, and told us that he didn't find anything to patch! So!! The front desk guy flat out lied to us saying that they patched our tire so that he could charge us an extra $32. We literally were going to drive up the mountain and he knew that, and he let us leave knowing they didn't fix anything. Finally they found a large crack in the tire. I don't often leave reviews for companies but when I do it's for a good reason. I recently had my front tire replaced at American Tire Depot. My TPS light came on so I stopped in and the employee told me my front tire was leaking. There was a bulge on the sidewall so I thought nothing of being presented with the option to purchase a new tire. The tire was installed in the parking lot, as they were very busy that afternoon. I paid, got my keys and got into my car. I immediately noticed the TPS light was still on, I went back inside and told the kid who helped me. He came outside with a "diagnostic tool" and ran it across the tires and said "mam unfortunately all of your Tire Pressure sensors are bad" I asked how long and what the cost was to replace them, he rattled off "somewhere in the neighborhood after installation around $400". I told him I could not afford them right now but I would come back later in the week after payday and have them swapped out, I asked this employee if my vehicle was safe to drive, he said "yeah don't even sweat it" Fast forward to four days later, 8pm and I'm driving on the 91 freeway. My rear tire blows out and I almost loose control of my vehicle. I safely make it to the median, but I have no spare (the manufacture does not provide one for this model) I am stranded on the side of the freeway until AAA shows up. I google the nearest tire shop to my home, I find Plus One Performance on Highland Avenue. It is literally in my backyard. It's late and they are closed so I figure I can take my car there first thing in the morning. I am towed home, and left with the sickening feeling that had all my tires just been checked at American Tire Depot, this might have never happened. I call Plus One early the next morning, I am greeted by the friendliest woman who doesn't transfer my call or put me on hold, I give her the tire size (low profile tire, not a normally stocked size) and she informs me that she has them in stock. Mounted balanced in and out $100. I explain to her I have to have the vehicle towed in and she says "absolutely no problem, have them drop it right in front and we will get you taken care of" When I get there, I am greeted almost immediately, a gentleman takes my keys and they go to work. Every single bay is full, mechanics and installers buzzing about and customers waiting for their cars to be finished. I am told they want to make sure the rim is in good condition as the tire had significant damage. I notice the attention to detail, the checking of air pressure on all the other tires and the quick looks to see if my brake linings are in good condition. The service was professional, the shop was clean, and the attitudes were friendly. This is what consumers expect when they are getting service on their vehicles. Paul and the folks at Plus One literally won a lifelong customer that day. Knowledgeable, Friendly and full of Integrity. I left that day, with amazing service, my vehicle drivable, my TPS light off, money in my wallet and the security of knowing all of my other tires were in good condition. The icing on the cake for me was when the owner personally reached out via text to ask me how my service was, and how the car was driving...?!! These guys ARE the Tire Buisness, 100% the real deal! I took my car in for a smog on 2/18/20. Today on 2/19/20 my powering steering fluid leaked like a garden hose. Now I had smog checks done and the put on the rollers with the device I'm the exhaust. Way over priced, untrustworthy, office worker was agressive and rude. Plan on spending a extra $62 for them to tell you whats wrong (even though you already knew) they dont put it towards repairs, its a extra charge. I came in because one of my wiper arms was not working. My right wiper arm was swiping fine. They took off both arms and said they were broken, i said no only one didnt work. They wanted to charge me $200 to replace one wiper arm (not motor, just arm). I drove down the street and realized my working blade is no longer working, i turned around, went back to the shop and the office worker became extremely combative, he was saying we told you it was broken, i said it was not broken until you took it off. The machanic who i dont have a issue with, tightened a screw and my wiper magically started working. The manager/owner was standing by and letting his male worker talk and act aggressively towards a 45 year old woman. I will never go back there again.
