Got the bad fortune of dealing with these clowns via my home warranty company First American. My shower was draining slowly. They sent one guy out who's tool "broke" after 5 mins of trying to fix. He was still somehow able to fully block my drain while also pulling up a bunch of black sludge/refuse which he just left. Next guy came A WEEK LATER, gave it a good 10mins before telling me I need to totally rip up my shower bed so they can have "access to the pipe." I ask him if he can clear the black water out and return the work site to its original state (which is what they are required to do per their contract with First American). Guy says he doesn't have any tools to do that, and to contact First American. What plumber doesn't have a wet vac? I spend the next 3 weeks trying to get them to come back out and clean up their mess. They refuse, I have to clean up after them. So in summary, they put forth the bare minimum effort, but still somehow managed to totally block my shower drain which is now unusable and leave a trail of disgusting mess for me to clean up. If your home warranty company connects you with these people, refuse and ask for somebody else. If you are looking to hire a plumber, steer as far away from these dimwits as possible. read more

We got them tho rough home warranty to tune up our water heater. Allan came over to service. He went into the kitchen to let the water run from the kitchen faucet to let out the water bubbles. The way he ran the water out was take off the faucet head and let water come out from the pipe, which I'm not sure if that's a standard procedure. After he left, I noticed that our touchless faucet wouldn't completely turn off. So I called him to inquire about it and he denied his involvement in this, refuse to provide any insights, but instead insisted that it was my own wrongdoing. He also insisted that I should open another ticket through home warranty to get him to come check out his own mistake. The situation was handled with little to no work ethics, or professionalism. It is beyond frustrating that a simple water heater tune up could result in something more that needs fixing. The whole thing feels very shady. There're many plumber companies out there. Their plumbers are not even available in the afternoon, so I had to schedule it only in the morning 6 days later. As a result, I canceled my home warranty too because of this, and I found SO many plumbing companies in my area with at least 4.8 stars to 5 stars with great reviews. I actually got my plumbing issue fixed on the same day I called a different company with excellent service. My home warranty charged me $85 service fee, but only paid $49 to the company I found myself. Home Warranty companies are jokes and all those bad reviews do not lie. 1 star is generous. I submitted a claim through my home warranty and was unfortunately assigned to this provider -- a company with very low rating from the BBB and Yelp. After pointless visits and wrong parts ordered and waiting almost 2 weeks with no hot water. My insurance finally approved the full cost of a new water heater and its installation, this company attempted to charge me an outrageous amount that was more than the water heater and labor combined out of pocket for so-called "modifications." What a scam. They tried to sound like they would do me a favor and offered a minimal 10% reduction -- completely unreasonable. Then when I got a call for my payout the total was ridiculously low balled. Buyer beware: This company will take advantage of you and pile on excessive charges well beyond what's fair. The plumber was nice enough he siad we will fix the plumbing but won't cover the hole that I will need to make it you will need to remodle your shower. This company immediately picked up our Homewarranty claim through First American. They left the case as "pending scheduled" for the maximum time allowed before action must be taken. They finally left a voicemail with no return number to prolong the process without providing any actual scheduling or work. Mind you, this was for a time sensitive leak. When I was finally able to reach out to them on a phone number I found, they provided a scheduled a service window (between 8am-3pm) 10 days after the initial claim, At this point we were able to repair the leak through another plumber, outside of warranty. 430pm the day of the appointment a plumber arrived and wanted to try to view the repair. Knowing that it was already fixed, I told them there was no way they'd be able to honor the claim/warranty. At this point the administrative department resolved the claim - without visiting the property or viewing the issue. I'm presuming this process is to capitalize on the inefficiencies of the warranty claim process without providing any actual work, and it seems like its working. read more

I knew this was going to be a terrible experience with this company before they even came to my home. I had a claim with my home warranty and was assigned with this company. After I saw the terrible reviews I asked my home warranty company to assign me a different plumbing company. The home warranty representative assured me that they would request a senior technician to come to my home for the service. Jimy was the person they sent to my home. He came in my home barehanded without any tools or equipment. No intentions to do anything from the get go. He looked at the water stain and said they didn't do work that were leaking behind the walls. He said I would need my walls opened by someone else for him to check for leaks. After I asked him what I needed to do for him to check for the leak, then he said he couldn't check because of possibility of mold. There wasn't any sign of mold whatsoever. He just had excuses after excuses to get out of doing any type of repairs. What an incompetent company. Now I know why this company has such bad reviews. Do not settle for this company. Is still deciding if he wants my claim investigated. What a joke this company is, anyone from this company has reached out to me at all regarding this damage and now I'm being stonewalled by Ms.Masten and State Farm. So this sorry company and their worker can damage my property with no backlash. I am updating this review because I learned that unfortunately the way home warranty claims work is they handcuff the service provider. That is what happened in my situation and after investigating the circumstances of surprise charges I learned that the warranty will not pay for the actual services necessary to do the job unless they are itemized in a certain way. Steven and Damon have been outstanding and they go above and beyond to determine the cause of problems and they make every effort to make sure the warranty people will pay out the amount they're responsible for. They do very good work and are knowledgeable and friendly. I had a new issue arise recently and specifically requested that Plumbers Inc was sent because of their professional service. read more

Plumbers Inc. was assigned to me by my home warranty company last week to fix a backed up plumbing issue in my master bathroom. I was given a morning window (8am-12pm) for service, but the technician never showed up. I called their dispatch office three times to get an idea of when the technician would arrive, but the young lady answering the phone said they had an emergency situation at another resident and would get to me later in the afternoon. My question is: how the hell is that my problem?? YOU gave me a service window and now YOU can't make it and now I have to just sit around and wait for you until God knows when?? Long story short, I called my home warranty company and had them cancel the service. My recommendation to anyone looking for a business to service their home for plumbing issues would be to stay far away from these guys. Assigned Plumber's Inc. by my home warranty company. I had a leaking shower valve (bad enough that I had to leave my water shut off unless showering or flushing). Allan came out and installed a new seal. It stopped working the next day. Long story short, they said fixing my leaking valve would entail replacing my entire supply plumbing lines for $9,000. I specifically asked why an adapter wouldn't work to just replace the valve (old plumbing is smaller than new standard apparently). As with many others reviewing here, I gave up, called friend of a friend (T&C Plumbing) and Tom installed new valves with a new shower plate, all in less than 3 hours and that INCLUDED his time going to the store to get the right ... These guys rescheduled multiple times and when they finally did show up, they said they needed to get back to us on how to repair the issue, tech left and we never heard from them. It is several days after they received the work order and I cannot reach a person. Today, I received a random text from 224-803-2743 saying: "We were trying to contact you in regards to scheduling your appointment. This is our second attempt at trying to do so. If you can please give us a call back at (888) 379-4321. Thank you and have a nice day." I am not able to get a person with the provided number. Please don't use this company. The service technician, Dan who was sent to the house could not have been more professional, friendly and competent. He was able to solve our problem quickly and efficiently and his demeanor during our time of stress was outstanding. Trying to get ahold of the office is another story. They were assigned by our home warranty company on Saturday on an emergency basis. Left messages Saturday, Sunday and 7am Monday morning. No calls back. I finally reached somebody in the office at 7:45 a.m. who told me they're not allowed to call customers back until after 8:00 a.m. that is absolutely ridiculous. After dealing with unprofessional and defensive receptionist due to a mixup on scheduling on their part, the water heater was finally installed on Friday, November 3, 2023. To get that accomplished, I had to call them everyday for an update. Their response was always "someone or my supervisor will call you in 30 minutes" but no calls. Today, I called about the permit as their website says, they will take care of it and that is included with the repair fee. Again, I was told someone or the supervisor will call me because they don't do the permit that I will have to do it myself. We had a leak that was from our bathroom drain. It caused water to leak onto our laundry room floor downstairs. The plumber that arrived whose name is Gerald was very kind and efficient and experienced. He knew what was needed and got to it. Gerald replaced our cracked pipe and solved our leak problem. Gerald took the time to clean up as well. Honestly I was a little apprehensive based on reviews about Plumbers Inc, and Plumbers Inc was referred to me by my home warranty company but Gerald proved there are still good people out there that are willing to get the job done. I filed a claim on 6/22/25 with my home warranty to fix a plumbing problem. They assigned me Plumbers Inc. They came out within a week to assess the situation and submitted their report on 6/27/25. Since then, it has been impossible to get the issue resolved. I called multiple times. The first 2 times I was told that a part needed to be ordered and it hadn't arrived. (Originally, I had provided the technician a copy of the work order from the plumbing company the HOA uses as I wanted my warranty to cover the expense) All this time I have been waiting for a "call-back" or "text" as promised, and got nothing Finally, I called again yesterday, 7/31/25 (now it's been over a month). They, Plumbers Inc, said they have been trying to contact me to get access. I mentioned to them that I HAVE NOT received a call or text which is why I was calling, yet again. The lady on the phone insisted that they had been trying to contact me and again I let her know that I had not received any calls, messages or text. Then, she said, "Your claim has been open for more than 30 days and a new one needs to be filed with my home warranty." I explained to her that it has been over 30 days because your company hasn't bothered to communicate. I have been more than patient up to now. Lastly, I called my home warranty again to express my dissatisfaction and for assistance. The 2nd agent I spoke to, Michael, was very helpful. He extended my claim and has assigned my claim to another company. They are coming today to assess the situation. I'm hopeful that this time around things will work out well. Plumbers Inc. Is a scammer company! They work with some Home Warranty companies, and when they are dispatched to your property for diagnosis and fixing the plumbing issue, after a few minutes tell the customer that they have to check with the Home Warranty company that you are register with to see if such repair will be covered and then they leave. Of course they did not fix the plumbing issue and because of their trip to your property, they get paid. They falsify their report and justify for not fixing the problem and send it to the home warranty. You will then get denied and the reason would be that the problem is beyond the normal wear and tear which is not true. In my case, I had to hire another contractor and pay them to fix the plumbing issue for my tenants since the issue was urgent and they had to take showers. They came in and diagnosed the issue the way it supposed to, fixed the problem professional within half hour. I submitted the invoice which covered the correct diagnosis along with the compensation to the Home Warranty. I disputed the report by the Plumbers, Inc and asked for reimbursement which I have received after 10 days. Do not hire the Plumber Inc for any job, they are dishonest and not qualified! So disappointed. Paid extra for home warranty claim as the "plumbing part" was not covered under home warranty. I decided to pay the extra as we needed this completed. After the work was done, the leak continued. I called back again and was told that I needed to pay another $850 to fix the problem that was caused by the original repair.
