He discovered a slab leak and listed several options. He is probably one of the most "real one's" there are out there. He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He tries to get to know you and is willing to hold a conversation with you and hear you out. Plumbing issues can be very expensive and Stephen is sensitive to that. It is never a great time to get plumbing work done, but Stephen is there to talk with you, hear you out, and just be someone who genuinely cares about the customer. I will be using Jim and Son's for any plumbing needs in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone. I wish I remembered the name of the other plumber that helped him out during the job, but he was awesome as well. Again, he understood the importance of customer service and making sure that customers are left with a great experience in addition to getting the work done. 6/5 stars if I could.

He showed me proof and explained it to me. It was under the cement slab in our garage. I was not happy about the possibility of tearing out concrete. He suggested running the pipe above ground where it would be accessible. He rerouted the line and used materials that saved me money. Instead of taking several days, it was done by lunch. We called Plumbing MATTers and they were able to get us scheduled same-day! Our technician, Giovanni, was phenomenal. He quickly diagnosed our water pressure issue--our main valve was sitting at a dangerous 100 PSI--and installed a new 1-inch Zurn Wilkins regulator (our old one was 24 years old!). He also performed a hydro-jetting service on our main line to clear out all the debris. Giovanni was polite, professional, upfront with pricing, and worked incredibly efficiently. I also really appreciate the client portal they supply--it made it super easy to view my paid invoices and will be great for keeping track of any future estimates all in one place. The whole job was completed for a very fair price with great warranties included. It's rare to find plumbers this honest, organized, and thorough. Brandon went into problem solving mode, adding studs and ceiling joists as needed to accommodate standard drywall sheets. When the wall air conditioner didn't fit properly, Brandon created a "letterbox" with moldings that made it fit and gave it a nice, finished look. He also reengineered the garage door track brackets and added lighting, switches and a frame to make installing a second door easy in the future. Brandon also got us out of a pinch when a delivery crew couldn't figure out how to hook up new appliances in our ADU. He added proper electrical hook ups and got everything in and running great the same day.
