I was able to keep the pump operational until they showed up. They immediately knew what was wrong and fixed it. Then he used a zip strip to prevent any reoccurrence. I would strongly advise others to not hire this company based on our experience…read more We hired Kirk to replace a water heater in our home that we supplied. After installation, he told us there was no power going to the water heater and suspected an issue with the breaker, so we were instructed to call an electrician. Before leaving, he told us that once power was restored, we should contact him if we experienced any additional problems, such as a leak. We hired an electrician, who immediately expressed concerns about the installation stating, "where did you find these guys? I would not hire them again". He determined that the water heater had been wired incorrectly, which was causing the breaker to repeatedly trip and preventing the water heater from receiving power. There was no issue with the breaker itself. After the electrician corrected the wiring and restored power, the water heater displayed a "leak detected" error. We planned to contact Kirk the following morning to discuss these issues. However, around 8 p.m. that evening, his son texted asking if we had received the invoice. My husband confirmed that we had and began explaining what the electrician had found. Shortly afterward, around 9 p.m., Kirk called us. Instead of having a conversation about our concerns, he began yelling at both my husband and me. He was yelling to the point that we were barely able to speak. The only thing I was able to say was, "Kirk, please calm down." He continued yelling, stated that he was sending us to collections, and hung up. Our subsequent calls were not answered. To be clear, we never stated that we would not pay the bill. In fact, when their payment system was not working on the day of installation, we were told the invoice would be emailed to us and to "pay at our convenience." We simply wanted the opportunity to discuss the problems discovered after the installation before resolving the invoice. Regardless of any disagreement about a bill or workmanship, I do not believe a customer should be screamed at for raising legitimate concerns about work performed in their home. Based on both our experience with the installation and the way our concerns were handled afterward, we will not be using again and do NOT recommended him to others.
