I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. I wasn't happy as I didn't have this in my budget. I had called the office to bring this to there attention and was transferred to a manager. I explained that these diagnostic fees were not told to me when I scheduled the appointment and when the plumbers came to my home and I wasn't happy. He said he'd get back to me. Never heard back! FYI. There's more than just a service trip fee with this company' beware they charge for a diagnostic fee also.‍

The incident occurred during rush hour in Irving, TX at about 5:20 PM, 12.18.18. The particular location was in an area where road construction was cutting two lanes down into one. Rather than zipper in the traffic as is expected in normal traffic, the gentleman driving the Good Ol' Boyz plumbing work truck made it a point to speed up, thus cutting me off from a window I had, and force me to slam on my breaks lest I drive into the road work area which was about 3 feet lower than the road. He then made it a point to stop and glare at me as if I was the one somehow at fault. As fate would have it, we shared the same drive for several miles which allowed me to make a few observations. He sped, typically 10-15 miles over the posted limit (usually getting stuck behind someone doing the limit so I was able to catch up); I often noticed him looking down presumably at a cell phone while driving; and he made regular erratic lane changes without signaling. I'm unsure as to the nature of his rush, but it was unsafe driving at its best. They never made excuses and my satisfaction with their work and product was always their only concern. I know my job cost them more than they made, but they never complained or brought up their expense. They just did the right thing. This commitment to service is not just with management -- every employee I have encountered demonstrates the same commitment.
