Shower cartridge (located behind the shower handle) was bad so I called them to come out and they…read moresaid there was a service call charge of $67.50 which would not be charged if they did any work. So they sent a guy out and they charged a whopping $272 plus tax just to replace a simple plastic shower cartridge that probably took about 15 minutes to replace. They also replaced a cheap small plastic handle that I did not ask them to replace. Charges breakdown: $125.00 - Labor $80.00 - Parts (for a plastic cartridge that cost $31 at Home Depot) $67.50 - Other charges (added in the service call charge). So I was not supposed to be charged the service call charge; however they added it in & when paid them by credit card I had not seen the breakdown yet. Made numerous phone calls and kept getting promises that they would reimburse me for the service call charge but they kept stringing me along and wouldn't send it. Guess they got tired of me calling and did eventually send it but it cost me a lot of time and frustration. To top it off, about six months later the cartridge they installed went bad and had to hire another plumber to come out and replace the one Enco had installed. Was told a master plumber would be coming out for a home warranty repair 2 days after technician…read morecame to survey the work, didn't hear back from them for over 9 days after multiple calls were made to inquire on when they come. The same person/tech that came out previously came to perform the work (not the master plumber we were told would be coming to perform the service). Technicians work was not complete and when questioned about the quality, I was told "that's just the way it is". Technician proceeded to make excuses regarding why work could not be completed. When my wife asked for next steps he RAISED HIS VOICE and yelled "what the hell do you want me to do?!" This company came into our home spouting buzzwords like "honesty, integrity, trustworthiness" only to push for upsells and couldn't even follow the timeline they quoted nor provide any semblance of quality work. My wife was made to feel dismissed and disrespected in her own home simply for asking questions. When master plumber was called by tech I asked to speak to them and inquired how they would make this right. He proceeded to tell the tech to get in his truck and drive away as there was no way he could make us happy. We were left with fixtures that are in worse shape than before they attempted work, and a blockage that we will have to get another plumber to fix. Main issues = integrity, honesty, timely communication, follow through and the fact that a representative of this company rose his voice in a hostile manner to a woman on her own property when asking clarifying questions. Ladies, I'd think twice before allowing this company into your home. Gentleman, I'd suggest you be present to inspect work and to provide an environment of safety for your family/loved ones.
