I called Larry at absolute plumbing because he had done work at a previous home. Larry came out the same day and provided a quote that was much better than the other company. I was on the schedule for repair for a few days out, but they were able to come out more quickly and completed the service yesterday. Larry found two leaks not just one. He replaced the old PVC with copper lines. He attached multiple photos of the work to the invoice so we could see the work which was nice. The office staff was incredible friendly and responsive. Other than having a major water leak that needed to be fixed I could not be happier with the service that was provided. I will recommend Absolute Plumbing to any of my friends or family.

We've now had three unbelievable experiences with Dave from GP Plumbing. In our 50 year lives (30…read moreof them where we've had the chance to encounter plumbing issues), we've never encountered anyone like Dave. You might have a good experience once with with a contractor, maybe twice, but by the time you have a third amazing experience, you know you found a gem in the rough. We have many stories, but the latest is from the past couple days. There was water leaking through the wall (!!), Dave came over and quickly assessed what was going on. Then the next morning we saw that the situation has deteriorated and it was actually something affecting two separate units. This was on Saturday night and Sunday morning-- Dave was over in 20 minutes immediately on both days helping us mitigate the damage which was considerable but could've been much much worse. so now we're here on Sunday afternoon, Dave is replacing a water heater, mitigating water damage with eight fans running ... diagnosed the original source of the problem and documented it all on an SD card for us. The quick summary is that a clogged toilet led to thousands of dollars of damage. We're not happy about it, but now we know what happened, and in Dave's hands we're gonna get back to some sense of normalcy here soon. Dave puts his heart... And sweat... into his projects. He works his butt off - truly.

I'm a hands-on homeowner. Before calling anyone I tried a 6-foot auger, a 25-foot hand snake, a…read more50-foot rental machine, and the exterior cleanout. Nothing worked. My master bathroom was out of commission for five days -- toilet backing up, upstairs bath draining into the master, the works. I also had a neighborhood plumber show up, work without my authorization, vacuum my p-trap (which flooded my master with sewer gas), make a complete mess, and then demand $575. I sent him home. Then I called Hymns Plumbing. One visit. They accessed the correct cleanout, ran their cable, cleared the line, and then ran a camera to find out what caused it. A set of keys. Lodged deep in the branch drain line -- something no snake was ever going to break through. $225. Done. But here's what really got me: when I came back they had cleaned up things I never even asked them to touch. No upsell. No drama. Just honest work at a fair price. Hymns has a customer for life. If you're in the DFW area and you want a plumber who actually knows what they're doing and treats your home with respect -- this is your call.

Absolutely outstanding service from Legacy Plumbing!…read more I had what I thought was going to be a simple toilet repair, but it turned out the toilet itself needed to be replaced due to some poor craftsmanship from previous companies. The last homeowner had a cheap toilet installed, which created more problems than expected. Jake was fantastic throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood what I was paying for rather than just pushing me toward the most expensive solution. What really impressed me was that Jake worked the cost of the work they had already completed into the replacement toilet, which saved me a significant amount of money. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the service and the unexpected issue we ran into. Great communication, fair pricing, excellent workmanship, and genuinely great customer service. I would absolutely recommend Legacy Plumbing, and especially Jake, to anyone who needs a plumber. Five stars all around!

So they are "nice", and answer their phones on a Saturday, and Michael the husband plumber seems…read moreknowledgeable, but not competitive in pricing nor fully transparent. Wife was sneaky in getting to come to property when job could have been quoted over phone and sly in trying to skeeze a service fee they never ever communicated anywhere along the way to basically write me an estimate on the way home from an emergency service call job. Would. Not. Use. Husband and wife team in a transit van and I called them when trying to get a water heater replaced in Frisco over the weekend. I sent pictures, provided all details, knew exactly what I wanted done down to the exact brand of the water heater and parts. This could have and should have been a straight quote over the phone with the info I was given. The range given on the phone was 1800-2300 despite having all of the details in the pictures before arriving the property. I was led to believe pricing could be toward lower end of range by saving sediment trap, pan and more... After coming out with nothing materially changing, they quoted me nearly $2400 in person. They also wouldn't come back out for the inspection with city either...Legacy Plumbing quoted $2150 over the phone and they were high...soup to nuts with a better warranty. After I mentioned that they said they would match it.. no thanks... Best part of all.. after feeling like I had wasted my time, at the end of the estimate when They had offered to "come out" when they were on their way back from another job to see if they could make the price cheaper, they tried to charge me $69!! made absolutely no mention of any fee to do so. Had I known about the fee, This would have been an immediate no, and move on to the next plumber. When I told wife you never mentioned on phone at any time she said you know what, forget it and walked off.. Numerous reputable plumbers quoted this, with parts and all based on pictures and details without coming out, cheaper than they did. Again, this is with brand of water heater, size, parts, and components all clearly and consistently aligned and communicated. I felt like this is another one of these contractors gaining customers through the "recommended by" uninformed people on Nextdoor who recommend contractors who are "nice" to them and who act as if they are "affordable" and cheaper than larger outfits but are really higher priced and lower offerings than others. I wasted my time on an important Saturday and the entire process made me feel deceived. When I sniffed and snuffed out the nonsense it was game over. Went an alternate route in the end with a better warranty for far less money, got a new water heater in by end of night but learned ...again... the "recommended bys " on Nextdoor are nearly worthless depending on who is writing the reviews ... I am going with three stars only because Christmas is coming soon and I'm trying to be nicer even to those who deceive, I don't know the actual quality of the work, just the sales process and feel as though I wasted my time and was deceived through niceties.
