I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received. Despite being referred by my community neighbors, the experience was far from what I expected. I was charged 1.5 hours of travel time for a technician who spent exactly 25 minutes on-site. This charge was never communicated to me, and I was not informed that travel time would be considered service time. Had I known, I would have chosen a local technician and avoided this entire situation. To make matters worse, the technician initially quoted $290, which he confirmed on his mobile device. However, the final bill inexplicably increased by $90. When I questioned this, the company failed to provide a reasonable explanation and refused to honor the original quote. After raising my concerns, the company offered me a 15% discount, but only if I paid the bill by the end of the day. This felt like coercion, forcing me to make a payment under pressure. To avoid any further debate and trouble, I reluctantly paid the amount they demanded. This entire experience reeks of miscommunication, unfair billing practices, and poor customer service. If you're considering using this service, be wary of hidden charges, unexpected price hikes, and pressure tactics. I will not be using their services again and cannot recommend them to others. I was surprised to see how you managed to turn a negative google review in your favor. I had already paid extra for the additional effort you put in, but then you added the 1.5-hour travel time to the service time without any prior notice. Very disappointed. To make the story short, I will just put some bullet points: 1. My outdoor GFCI outlet stopped working and they replaced a new one. I later noticed that the original one was WR and TR rated. The new one is NOT (seems to be a regular indoor GFCI). And that is a violation of the code (based on some info I found on the internet). I emailed the business owner Ryan about it and have not got a response... Besides, the technician left a bunch of screws on the ground and I had to clean it up. It could be a hazard to my dog. 2. I paid in full in cash with tips when they finished the job (they told me there is a 3% fee for cards and they did not have any changes). But I did not receive a receipt until six days later... 3. I told them that I'll need a new electrical box (for a ceiling fan) but they did not have it with them. They went out to get one and that took about 30 mins. 4. An indoor outlet was not working and the technician replaced it with a new receptacle and called it done. While they were out for the electrical box, I tested it and it was not fixed... I told them when they got back. It was actually a loose neutral connection at an upstream switch. 5. While they were working on the wires, they did not switch off any breakers. I was surprised. Not sure if a licensed electrician would do so. I used them due to their exceptional reviews on both Google and Yelp. Unfortunately, my experience was way below my expectation... read more

I had a water leak in my yard between the meter and my house. They showed how thin the supply line was, much thinner than typical pvc pipe. They figured out where the main line went into the house and put in a new line. They added a shutoff so we don't have to go out to the street to shut the water off if we need to. These guys are a standout team. The circuit breaker for our family room would not reset and I needed a quick fix to get our internet back up. I called 308 and Sissy answered, took my number, and said she'd see if she had anyone available to help this afternoon. She called back about five minutes later and said she had a technician who could be there in 30 minutes. She gave me the pricing up front and gave me a quote for the estimated parts needed. The price seemed frankly better than I expected. Sure enough, 30 minutes later, Ryan was at the door. He replaced our breaker and then tested it and saw that the problem wasn't fixed. He then quickly went through the affected outlets, found the problem, and fixed it. All-in, they had my house back online literally 90 minutes after I called them. THEN, I had mentioned to Sissy that I had a non-functioning floodlight and could the technician take a look and maybe give a repair estimate while he was here, recognizing that he would likely be between scheduled jobs due to the short notice. Instead, when Ryan got here, he hopped up on a ladder, took down the floodlight, and diagnosed and repaired it on the spot. Incredible. By the way, that 90 minutes I referenced above included the time for this second repair. And the pricing was transparent and reasonable! You have to trust these guys. The are the best. I had three different companies came for estimate and gave me potential solutions. Andy from 308 gave me the simplest and cheapest solution. The other guys either tried to intimidate me and then upsell a crazy job or just did not want to do this. I was concerned that my existing wire would not work on the devices. Andy and technician Jim assured me my wires are completely safe and would not cause a fire. The other company came to tell me that sooner or later my house would catch on fires and it would cost 50k to replace those wires behind the walls because we need to basically tear the drywall apart. Andy did all the research for me and installed an extra fuse just to make me comfortable I would not hesitate to call them on any electrical problem. Great service! They quoted me (through YELP!) and we corresponded. I contacted them to come out and we scheduled it pretty easily. The end cost was exactly what they quoted me because it was a generally easy job. I had an GFCI outlet stop working and another outlet wasn't working. It turns out they were on the same circuit and they just needed to replace the GFCI thingy on the first outlet in the garage. They quoted me $90/hour + parts. The job took about 30 minutes. And I wrote them a check for $107. This was about what I expected and I was very happy. Especially because the check didn't bounce. haha. We are considering some MAJOR changes to electrical systems for lighting throughout the house and I'll call 308 first. One last thing. I tried to use Angie's List and it was overly complicated for this type of gig. I'm so glad I went with YELP! I'll do the same in the future. read more

Did a good job installing my 14-50 outlet. Put it right in the spot that I asked, but I didn't realize until after they left that where I was hoping to put it was not on a stud so the outlet isn't as secured as I would hope. (3 stars) They didn't cut up my walls more than they had too and tried to leave the drywall in pieces clean enough to patch back up so I appreciate the extra care there. (+1 star) I would have loved if they would have come back to me when doing the work and told me "hey you know where you told us to put it isn't on a stud, can we move it over 4 inches to have it secured" that proactive step would have moved the rating up to 5 stars in my book. read more

Over charged! I was quoted $160 an hour and I approved 2hrs for a total of $320 for 4 outlet replacements. They arrived at 12:30 came in within 45 minutes changed 3 plugs and struggled to repair the fourth outlet under the sink only to find one of the adjoining plugs had a loose wire. Finished at 2:30 and presented me with a bill for $543! They added an extra hour for a total of 3 hours, A trip fee and on top of that added 3% for using a credit card??? Nothing was ever mentioned about a trip charge or credit card fees When I protested they said take it up with my manager. Who I called and said we can discuss the extra fee but never returned my call. Beware they will Over charge you. read more
