After calling around to some mobile RV technicians without getting through to any of them I called…read moreand talked with Adam about the issue I'm having with our slide system. Right after I talked to him he came over to the campground where we're staying to take a look. After trying to open the slide and seeing that the top corner was stuck he told me that I would need to take the RV to a shop to have it repaired and that no one around would want to do the job of getting the slide open in the field. The next day I had another technician take a look at our motorhome. He was able to put the slide system into manual mode and got the slide opened in about 15 minutes. Adam charged me $100 for the service call even though he wasn't able to do anything to fix the slide. I'm happy to pay for someone's time but as easily as the other technician got the slide opened I feel for $100 Adam should have known the manual mode procedures even if he didn't have the experience to complete that actual repairs needed. While Adam does answer his phone when a call comes in and was quick to respond he didn't have the experience I needed to get the slide on our motorhome opened and repaired.

I called Lane VL Plumbing and Lane and Wayne showed up in less then an hour knew after a short discussion exactly how to fix our current draining issues in the hallway for the A/C unit main (not the drain pan, I'm smarter then that, lol). An added bonus we've been dealing with a washing machine drain for years and having to start and stop the drainage cycle because of overflow issues, Lane snaked the stand pipe and said nope we are going through the vent pipe on the roof, I thought oh lord this is getting expensive fast, it's about 112° heat index outside and that's not standing on the roof that's shade temperature. It sounded as though he may have been brought into this roll to fix some of the service issues and if we get to work with a Leo, I would absolutely consider giving BCI another chance due to the incredibly nice techs and Leo's kind of attention to customer service. Edit: I stand by the techs being nice but the scheduler was a nightmare to work with. I have requested specifics regarding an estimate we got 5 times now in 2 months and still have not received the answers. There was a misunderstanding in that I thought they were coming to balance our system, instead it was just an estimator, and then i received a bill for the estimate I didn't request. I didn't want to move forward without specifics and now it's August so we've wasted the summer being hot. We won't be using BCI anymore. Original: We had preventative maintenance performed on August 8th. Our technician, Nicholas, was incredibly nice and thorough. I had asked him about how often to change our air filters and he answered me thoroughly, then offered to check their condition for me, then offered to replace them for me (we had extras in the house) which I very much appreciated because I'm pregnant and should stay off ladders. HeHe took the time to explain everything and answer my questions thoroughly, and I feel like our house is already cooler from the cleaning he did and the suggestions he made. I do think we'll have to have BCI come in and clean our ducts, but if everyone is as nice and thorough as Nicholas, I have no qualms about that or any other maintenance they suggest. The price was quite reasonable as well.

He quoted a price to me. The second plumber - who came with an " assistant " who did nothing but follow him around, installed the toilet handle and quoted a price more than $100 over what the first plumber quoted me. Never ever using them again!
