I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. After reading reviews, I knew my decision wasn't really about the price--I was planning to hire Top Tech anyway. What disappointed me was that the estimate appointment had to be canceled that day, and I was even more frustrated by the interaction with the lady on the phone. As a business owner myself, I believe in taking care of customers and honoring commitments. If I have to do the job myself, I do it--I don't cancel on clients who are depending on me. The phone conversation felt rushed, and it seemed like she was trying to get me off the phone as quickly as possible, which I found annoying. However, Zach came out later that same day for the estimate, and he completely changed my impression. He was professional, honest, hardworking, and got straight to the point. It was 92 degrees outside, and I genuinely felt for the guy working in that heat. He provided a fair estimate, scheduled the work for the next day at 1 PM, and then actually arrived two hours early. The quality of the work was outstanding--top-notch service. My brother is an electrical engineer, so I have a decent understanding of electrical work, but he lives far away. I still have a lot more projects to complete around my house, and I will definitely be calling Top Tech again. When I do, I'll be requesting Zach specifically. Highly recommended.

I called to ask about this problem and they sent 2 plumbers who spent 15 minutes in the attic, told me there was no roof leak and charged me $86. This is after spending a lot of money with them over the years. These folks have gotten too expensive and so I will looking for a new plumber.

Our neighborhood plumber was booked a week out, and so were the two others he recommended, so it was off to Yelp to look for one... found a five star plumber, asked Yelp, Yelp offered to send info to multiple plumbers, and Ray was one of the ones that responded. I was a little nervous about hiring a guy with only one review on Yelp, but he had good reviews on Google, Angie's List and other places so I decided to give him a shot... being available to come out the next day was definitely a big plus. I was a little nervous when he came out in an SUV with a magnet on the side instead of a fancy painted truck but he definitely knew what he was doing. Unfortunately we had to replace an entire shower valve ($$$) instead of just a cartridge ($), but he did a great job and put an access panel in the wall instead of just leaving a giant hole in the sheet rock like I was expecting, so that was a nice plus. Other pluses: entirely paperless, Ray showed me a complete estimate before he got started (which ended up being the final bill), and was willing to explain things. His pricing for the shower valve replacement I thought was pretty reasonable. Minuses: when diagnosing the leak he noticed one of the toilets was leaking (into the bowl) so I asked him to fix that... the charge for that was I though was pretty high since he was here for something else as well, I've replaced toilet innards and it's pretty simple with cheap parts. But he did have the price on the estimate so I can't really complain. Overall, I definitely would recommend him and will call him again for other issues... hopefully not any time soon though :)

TL;DR - Not impressed by being lied to multiple times and now I am sitting on a time bomb…read more I had a breaker replaced in my house in 2024 that was upgraded to a 30A non-GFCI breaker from a 15A GFCI breaker. This change in amperage obviously concerned me and my initial ask was to get a quote to run a new circuit for the high-draw equipment I was looking to install. The contractor they sent out took a look at the breaker box and assured me that all I would need to do is replace the breaker with a higher rated breaker. I asked the contractor multiple times if the cables on that circuit could handle the much higher load and I got the same assurance each time. Imagine my surprise when I had an electrician from another company come out for a separate issue, take one look at the breaker box, and tell me that the circuit is only rated for 20A. No need to imagine, because that is exactly happened. Now I am sitting on a potential time bomb with the only good solution being to disconnect and relocate my high-draw equipment and have a new costly circuit installed while not having access to my equipment. If you still want to have this company work on your house, be sure to snap a picture of their license so you can show the insurance company who to go after when your under-rated cables melt and catch fire.

Another fantastic project with the Wreedone team…read more This time, we hired them to replace the flooring throughout the majority of our house, tearing out older tile and hardwood that had suffered from previous water-cupping damage. I had manually measured close to 1,700 square feet, but Wil and Spencer utilized a mobile tech scanning tool to map both the floors and walls (for a future paint project) in a matter of minutes. It immediately validated my manual measurements and gave us complete confidence in the project's scope. We chose to vacate the house during the heavy demo and installation. Scheduling-wise, Wreedone was exceptionally punctual, hitting every milestone exactly when they said they would. They carefully moved and secured our heavy furniture, treated our property with immense respect, and ensured everything was locked up tight at the end of each workday. I had the chance to meet the tile installer, Daniel, and his crew. Daniel is a true craftsman--he noticed minor pattern differences in the tiles and expertly blended them so the installation looks perfectly seamless throughout the house. A true professional! Spencer also brought some great problem-solving to the baseboards. Because the new floors sat a bit lower, reusing the old baseboards would have left a noticeable paint gap along the walls. Factoring in the labor to patch and paint that gap, it was actually more cost-effective to install brand-new baseboards, which ended up looking even better than the originals. Given the massive amount of demolition dust, the top-to-bottom post-construction cleaning was incredible. Walls, floors, countertops, ceiling fan blades--everything was spotless! I am also incredibly grateful to Justin and Chase for the daily updates and progress photos, as well as their care in quickly moving the large furniture back into place post-cleanup. Wreedone's methodology isn't just about executing a single task; they deliver a complete, holistic package. They managed every aspect of this project to deliver a high-quality result that gave my wife and me exactly what we wanted while protecting our overall investment. Well done!

I used Force Home Services for my AC tune up......during that process, the first Technician James recommended maintenance to increase the upstairs unit efficiency in blowing the air. The company followed up and immediately and scheduled the appointment within the week. Then Josh came out for the repairs....First of all this young man was very Professional to call in advance and arrive on time. He came in and had a conversation with me about the issues I had with my AC. He then performed a follow up review. He listened to my questions and patiently explained what the issues were and how he could address. As an Accountant, I deal with numbers, etc. however; he was very thorough and explained what he was going to do to address the AC issues in a manner that I was able to comprehend. Josh did an OUTSTANDING JOB! Both units are now fully functioning well (COOL), this is significant as my units are OLD (approximately 18 years). He didn't focus on the age of the units but more on what was the best, most practical and cost effective actions to obtain the maximum return and use of the system. We've always been impressed by the promptness, reliability, professionalism and care their technicians and staff demonstrate in their dealings with us. We recently had a completely new HVAC system installed on July 8, 2020, by Force Home as our old one was literally on its last leg. Emmanuel and his crew (Travis B. and Matthew) were spectacular. They worked 11 1/2 hours to get the old system out, the new one installed, running and tested. Emmanuel did a wonderful job with our "customer education" and we felt very comfortable with our understanding of the new system and how to maintain it. Based on my experience, I recommend them highly. What should have been a straightforward permit process got more complicated due to my development being new. Mandy from Force Home Services took charge of getting the issue resolved, communicated with me to keep me updated and patiently responded to each of my inquiries. The folks who answer the phone were always pleasant and also responsive. No long waits on hold! The technicians that came to provide the quote, responded to run the gas line and finally to install the stove after the permit inspection all were on time, personable, seemed skilled and again, patiently responded to all of my questions and concerns. I continue to be pleasantly pleased with Force Home Services. After experiencing power outages during a holiday weekend, I came home to find I had no water in my kitchen. The dispatcher (Karrie) was more than kind and concerned. She asked me (she didn't tell me) if the matter could wait until after the holiday to save myself some money. Then she went a few steps further, she googled the issue AND asked a technician (Jax), if he had any advice. He told here to ask me a few more questions. She called me back and remained on the phone with me while I tried some of her suggestions. With their help, I was able to fix the issue. I am so very grateful and thankful for their kindness. I love Force Home Services. We have a maintenance contract with them and it has been the best thing we have done for the maintenance of our home. Recently we used the plumbing inspection portion of the maintenance contract (covers plumbing, air and heat). They came out, inspected the problem we were having with our shower, found the problem and told us what we needed to do. Even gave us a referral. After that, they inspected the rest of the plumbing in the house, told us of some areas of concern, emptied the P-traps in the sinks in the back bathroom and were on their way. I called them first thing in the morning requesting service with a plumbing issue. David came out at 9:45 a.m. He gave me an estimate and started work. Thanks to my home's pipes which were constructed before the dawn of time, the job ended up taking 4 plus hours. Despite this additional time, the fee was no more than the original estimate. Josh gave us a call before his arrival and matched his ETA. After checking our system, it was determined the system was faulty. Being 11 years old, the "band aid fix" was not trustworthy, so a new A/C was the best choice. After much information on comparison units, Josh gave us a presentation on three that would fit our needs. He even surveyed our home area to calculate size. Used Force for years. Recently had slow drain problems and Force sent Cody out. Nice guy and got our drains flowing again hen inspected with camera and found a dip or belly in the main sewer line right before it goes into septic tank. Cody and his crew dug up and replaced 10 feet of problem sewer line covered up the hole were you could not tell they had been there and were on there way. I have always used Force Home Services for all my HVAC and Plumbing needs. All of the guys are nice and answer all the questions I have. They wear shoe covers to ensure my house stays clean and they make sure everything is working properly before they leave my house. At the last minute, they texted us to cancel, claiming an "emergency repair." When I called, the story changed, they admitted they took a bigger, higher-paying job (full heating system replacement) and pushed us aside, told us either cancel or reschedule with them. They didn't even bother calling back, just sent a text canceling after pretending to "sort things out." Completely unreliable and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, one of my AC units has never worked properly. Houk came out four different times and gave me a different diagnosis each visit, yet the issue was never resolved. Once the labor warranty expired, I decided to try a smaller local company. I first had Red Star Cooling come out. The technician diagnosed a leaking evaporator coil and gave me a verbal estimate around $1,800 (labor only, since the part was under warranty). However, when the written estimate came through, it had jumped to $2,400. That lack of consistency didn't sit right with me. I then called Christmas Air, explained the situation, and received a straightforward quote over the phone that was actually a bit lower than Red Star's original estimate. They were able to come out the very next day. Denver handled the job, and he was excellent--thorough in confirming the issue, clear in explaining things, and even pointed out a few items to keep an eye on down the road. Professional, polite, and easy to work with. At this point, I'll be using Christmas Air going forward for both HVAC and plumbing

I just had quite the adventure of customer service with Christmas air…read more My air conditioner unit was blowing very lightly and on the thermostat the "cool on" indication was blinking. There are some thing that was wrong obviously. However, it could not be identified. I called Christmas air and Keith promptly came out to check out what was going on. He assessed the problem, determined that I needed a new fan motor and put the order in for the part that was needed. Although I couldn't get it fixed on the first day, he reassured me that, a repair would be possible. And then it was several days before the part actually came in and despite some complications eventually all needed parts were available. Now, the caveat is the fact that this company was relentless for allowing me to get as much life out of my 20+ year-old unit as possible. So, although the repair took about a week and several trips from multiple Christmas Air employees, at the end of the day, the team ensured that the problem was resolved, given a fair price, and I was followed up with each step of the way. The previous owners of my home used Christmas Air, which is why I've continued to use them. And thanks to the continual good customer service, I am planning to stay with them for the foreseeable future.

As homeowners, we rely a lot on people we can trust. This company has taken care of my heating and cooling needs for years now, and they have more than earned my trust and respect. Wes has been my main contact and he is wonderful. I can't imagine ever trusting anyone else with my complicated system. Right before our dangerous winter storm last week, he actually contacted me ahead of time just to make sure I was prepared. He walked me through, step by step, as I set my system for the extreme cold so I would stay safe and warm. That gave me real peace of mind. Wes also arranged for Josh to come out and fix a few things that needed attention, and that visit went just as smoothly. Josh was polite, on time, and knew exactly what he was doing. They are knowledgeable, dependable, and proactive. I never feel pressured, and their prices have always been more than fair. It's rare these days to find such an honest, dependable company with truly knowledgable people and fair prices. These folks know their business, but more than that, they care about their customers. I'm very grateful for them and highly recommend them without hesitation.

SUMMARY: Our former homeowner used Work Environmental and now we do too after a terrible experience w/ a company named Best 1 Air (B1A). BACKGROUND: Our 2nd A/C unit was cycling on and off. It was effectively non-op. We got a recommendation from a friend to go with B1A because we were a bit desperate to get it fixed asap and what a mistake. SHORT STORY: B1A was recommended to us and the tech came. He pulled at our condenser wire and the condenser stopped working. He turned to me and said "What happened???" and I said "YOU TELL ME". So literally this tech spent 3.5 hours sweating in our attics trying to figure out the problem. It became apparent that he was spending too much time trying to do things and he said he thought it was related to the circuit board and would need to come back a second time. To make matters worse, he left a mess. Gate was left open (cat almost got out), both attics were left open with the lights on, hose was not reeled in, and then he sat on our brand new dining room chair sweating through his pants. Like who does that? I also asked him to bill me for the work and he said he didn't even have invoices to fill out and give me. Seriously. After short discussion the next day w/ the wife, we elected to text him to not come back. We called Work Environmental and they sent TJ over. THE FIX WAS IN HIS HANDS TJ was extremely professional and courteous. I gave him the low down of what happened and after some short diagnosis he figured out within about 30 minutes that it was shorting. He went back to the condenser, looked at the wiring, and he ended up replacing the wiring. Pic attached. The wiring was so old that the wire sheathing and the protective sheath was rotted away. The wires were touching against each other and thus shorting itself. TJ replaced the wiring and was done in a little over an hour's time. Cost was the cost of the service call ($119). The other guy spent 3.5 hours and the cost was nearly $400. He did fill up our main condenser with 2lbs of freon, he said so deduct whatever the cost of that was. But the difference in expertise and professionalism is starkly night and day. The thing that makes us upset is that we believe the first tech from B1A might have not been honest with us. I mean literally I watched him pull at the wiring and the unit shut down in front of the both of us. Why he didn't spend more testing/diagnosis at that failure point is beyond me. Literally, it was in his hands. RETURN SERVICE? Yes. We appreciate the expertise, the professionalism, and the timeliness.

Lauren & Savannah did an excellent job in scheduling our appointment in a prompt manner. Joshua (proper name is Yehoshua, we kept mispronouncing it but he was very gracious about it) called to let us know what time he would be at our home and he was prompt! Not a minute late! When he arrived he got to the problem, determined the issue and solved it within 30 minutes. Our AC wasn't cooling half of the house correctly and the other half was too cold. He answered all of our questions, we had a lot - first time homebuyer, in a clear manner that we could understand. He explained what the issue was, walked us through how he was going to fix it and then proceeded to do so. He even gave us some pointers/tips to help keep the house evenly cool. I waited a little over a month to write this review because i wanted to fully test the AC and make sure it was working correctly (and the heater as well) - they are. Instead of responding with basic professionalism, they escalated the situation and went out of their way to file a complaint that impacted my employment and led to my termination under false accusations. It felt unnecessary, hostile, and deeply unfair. No one should have their livelihood threatened over standard workplace procedure, specifically in our great state of TEXAS. That kind of behavior shows a serious lack of integrity. I would think twice before supporting a company that operates this way.

Our upstairs unit has not only failed multiple times. And we have been charged for them coming out to "fix" the issue. Never serviced our units . On top of all of that we not have excess moisture that causes mold that has spread through our vents and into our bedrooms. We are far from upset at this point. We have been drained of money and still need to fix the issues they caused. Don't "save" by going to them get it done right from a more reputable company it will save you more in the end.

I always look at the company reviews and read them carefully before selecting a business. RNHS had all 5 star reviews, plus had a tech nearby that could be at the house in 30 min. I scheduled the appointment and immediately received a text with Jace's bio and information. 5 minutes later, I received a phone call from Jace with his ETA. Jace arrived at the home, introduced himself and we discussed the issue I was having. He immediately diagnosed the problem, solved the issue and was very thorough in explaining what happened, and how to potentially prevent this from happening again. As most companies do, they have service plans. They didn't push this on me, I asked about one. I happily signed up for the plan and happy I did so with them. Great to have such great customer service. Thanks for a wonderful experience Jace and the team at Rite Now Home Services.
