So they are "nice", and answer their phones on a Saturday, and Michael the husband plumber seems knowledgeable, but not competitive in pricing nor fully transparent. Wife was sneaky in getting to come to property when job could have been quoted over phone and sly in trying to skeeze a service fee they never ever communicated anywhere along the way to basically write me an estimate on the way home from an emergency service call job. Would. Not. Use. Husband and wife team in a transit van and I called them when trying to get a water heater replaced in Frisco over the weekend. I sent pictures, provided all details, knew exactly what I wanted done down to the exact brand of the water heater and parts. This could have and should have been a straight quote over the phone with the info I was given. The range given on the phone was 1800-2300 despite having all of the details in the pictures before arriving the property. I was led to believe pricing could be toward lower end of range by saving sediment trap, pan and more... After coming out with nothing materially changing, they quoted me nearly $2400 in person. They also wouldn't come back out for the inspection with city either...Legacy Plumbing quoted $2150 over the phone and they were high...soup to nuts with a better warranty. After I mentioned that they said they would match it.. no thanks... Best part of all.. after feeling like I had wasted my time, at the end of the estimate when They had offered to "come out" when they were on their way back from another job to see if they could make the price cheaper, they tried to charge me $69!! made absolutely no mention of any fee to do so. Had I known about the fee, This would have been an immediate no, and move on to the next plumber. When I told wife you never mentioned on phone at any time she said you know what, forget it and walked off.. Numerous reputable plumbers quoted this, with parts and all based on pictures and details without coming out, cheaper than they did. Again, this is with brand of water heater, size, parts, and components all clearly and consistently aligned and communicated. I felt like this is another one of these contractors gaining customers through the "recommended by" uninformed people on Nextdoor who recommend contractors who are "nice" to them and who act as if they are "affordable" and cheaper than larger outfits but are really higher priced and lower offerings than others. I wasted my time on an important Saturday and the entire process made me feel deceived. When I sniffed and snuffed out the nonsense it was game over. Went an alternate route in the end with a better warranty for far less money, got a new water heater in by end of night but learned ...again... the "recommended bys " on Nextdoor are nearly worthless depending on who is writing the reviews ... I am going with three stars only because Christmas is coming soon and I'm trying to be nicer even to those who deceive, I don't know the actual quality of the work, just the sales process and feel as though I wasted my time and was deceived through niceties. read more

Hands down the best plumbing company this side of town! And perhaps beyond, from my experience with other plumbers. I had my two sinks clogged in the master bathroom on a Sunday morning. Not a good way to start off. But luckily I was able to find ArchAngel Plumbing online. And They are open 24 hours. I called right away and they picked up the phone and were able to be at my house within less than an hour! Amazing. ArchAngel came to my home today, a Saturday to unplug a drain. I called and someone answered the phone, took my information and they were at my house in what seemed like no time. It happen to have just finished pouring down rain and they took precautions to keep my house spotless even while the were working outside in the mud. They were able to diagnose a problem with a waste line that had been overlooked by the company that recently installed our septic system. We were referred to Archangel by another reputable plumber in the area and we are happy to say that it was an excellent recommendation. Our water heater had begun leaking and soaking the floor of the adjacent bedroom. As another reviewer indicated, they were prompt to answer my call and came out as soon as they could, even earlier than scheduled. From beginning to end Michael was very transparent and honest, taking the time to explain everything so that I understood what had happened and what needed to happen to resolve the issue. He clearly has extensive knowledge from many years of experience. They were able to stop the leaking right away and were out promptly the next morning to install a new heater. Deceiving!! Casanova recommended this company. We called because a pipe in our sewer line was cracked and we needed to fix it. We told them this information before we set up an appointment. We ended up setting the appointment and they said the service fee was $69 and it would be waived if we decided to do the work with them. When they arrived they wanted to charge $227 additional to use the camera to check for the crack. They never mentioned this additional charge when we spoke on the phone.....we declined to pay because we thought they knew they would have to use the camera to give us the quote. They said they the work would be between $3500-$5000. They didn't even check anything. They basically just came to stand in my yard and collect $69. If they had told us about the $227 fee on the phone we would have not set up the appointment. I feel they intentionally didn't tell us about that fee so that they could come and charge the service fee. I would absolutely never contact this company again. I don't like companies that take advantage of people. read more
