Beyond PLNT Cheeseburger and Truffle Fries. 12.04.2025.
    Kathryn L.

Delivery: I ordered the Cheeseburger Combo for my GrandBlessing (not a Vegan yet) and she enjoyed it. She took a few minutes to share the Mint Cookies & Cream Milkshake (Oat Milk based), which was so good, I should've ordered me one. The menu is Kosher, completely free from animal products and all tree nuts and peanuts. The burgers (Beyond) and Chik'n (Tindle) sandwiches offer a good variety of options. Mushroom BBQ Bacon Burger, Spicy Chik'n and the No Fish Fillet. Crafted beverages/refreshers (I want to try the Mandarin Cardamom) Cookies, and Shakes for the sweet cravings. I appreciate PLNT Burgers' community and sustainable advocacy for human, animal and planetary health. Their motto: "Eat the change you wish to see in the world." My previous experience with PLNT Burger, was when they were inside Whole Foods Market in Silver Spring, MD - a decade ago. I would love to see PLNT Burger head South. Until then, more visits to NYC to share a Vegan Burger with my GrandBlessing.

Dirty, the place was oily you need to clean your table on your own. food was expensive for the small portion. Staff was nice.

All I can say is I wish this was my first introduction to vegan food cause it was phenomenal. Disclaimer I am only speaking on the burger aspect, with no cheese. Loved how juicy and flavorful it was. It was empty (1 or 2 people) dining when my cousin and I arrived at around 5:30pm. It picked up once we received our food and people started trickling in, which created a much more lively atmosphere than before. I had great, friendly service that felt very accommodating, which is rare at fast food restaurants. A must try for those interested in vegan food.

Decided to stop by PLNT Burger to pick up lunch for take out, since it's close the my work. They have a beautiful store with lots of arts, colors and good vibe. Sitting area available in front of the store and in the back. The menu has few burgers, sides, sweets and shakes. I ordered the double cheeseburger burger (with vegetarian paddies) and small fries using the self ordering station. The order was ready 5-6 minutes. The burger was decent size. Loved the taste of the paddy and the cheese. Only annoying part was it kept falling apart. Maybe a toothpick or something in the middle would have helped to keep it together. The fries were okay, little extra slices of potato and extra fried for my liking. But overall a decent place to grab a quick bite.

Always love an all vegan burger joint. Obsessed with their burgers. The fried pickles are so addicting. We ordered through their website so got our first burger for free. They have seating upstairs and downstairs.

What's goodie Society TheMadScientist here wit a quick and simple review (will have improvements for business at the end). After get'n a tattoo finish'd in Lower Manhattan TheMadScientist and JuJu Bean came up to mid-town and was HUNGRY So PLNT Burger was a simple go to and HE WAS TRULY FOOL'D for this choice. THIS IS A VEGAN CRACKdonalds/MURDER King with all the bells and whistles. Staff was there for the pay check; except they were nice af and knowledgeable about their products and they made sure the business was clean and proper (so that's where the two stars come from BELIEVE THAT) ~~~~~Let's GET TO THE GRUB THO~~~~~ Starter VEGANS and NON-VEGANS and JUST THE VEGANS WHO WANT A CRACK DONALD made for them THEY WILL LOVE THIS PLACE (NO Dissy) to TheMadScientist tho this food WAS NOT IT. The STB Fillet straight BS can't even remember the taste and know it had some stuff in it. (SUPER unREMEMBERABLE FOR SURE) The SWEET POTATO FRIES had a bit of a CRUNCH yet STILL WAS a MISS. How YOU even have the CRUNCH yet they were cold on the inside. The LIL Dipper they were OKAY and when TheMadScientist means not REALLY THAT GOOD. Them HERB FRIES tho they got the other star for YALL no FIB. THAT WILL BE THE GO TO SIDE ON BIG G it's truly NOT A MISS if you get them. NOW TheMadScientist really should of order the Shake after eat'n the whole order cause it was MELT'D yet HE KNEW IT would of been ROCK'N if it was FRESH. So here the suggestion get your lil dippers a bit of flavor wit a season combination they put on top of them before they are served that is what they are miss'n. You have the crunch for the Sweet Potato Fries just need to have the inside warmer thats a simple fix. NOW the sandwich REALLY DK how you can fix that JUST GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD wit that one. TheMadScientist knows that this is a franchise business so one will never be like the other so HE WILL RUN IT BACK in a couple of Months to SEE THE GROWTH. PLNT Burger is the only fast casual vegan spot left in this area, and it's a great place to go for burgers, chicken sandwiches and dippers, fries, shakes, salads, and more. I like that they have a good amount of seating, a rewards program, frequent offers and specials, and a kids' meal (although my kid misses the carrot chews it used to come with). My usual order these days is the garden Greek salad with lil dippers, along with sharing some sweet potato fries or green bean fries, or if I'm looking for something larger, their mushroom BBQ bacon burger is my favorite of the burgers. Their oat milk-based shakes are also a nice treat.

2.5 stars for the veggies burger that I ordered. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. One of the nicest staff that I have encountered actually. I ordered a burger for pickup and stayed in the restaurant for a bit. I wasn't really feeling hungry so I took the burger home to eat for dinner. I asked for sauce on the side. The burger wasn't really a burger it was like a veggies sandwich with pita bread. However, the pita bread was very hard and stale. I tasted the sauce but wasn't a big fan. Ended up eating the sandwich deconstructed since it was too big to eat. The way the cucumbers were stacked made the sandwich too bulky to eat. The vegetable patty was delicious though. You can see actually pieces of peas inside. There were also these white cheese(?) like things that were not bad. Overall: delicious veggie patty, friendly staff, skipping the actual veggie sandwich / burger next time and trying the plant burger or the mushroom bacon one.

Tasty and the service is pretty quick. The fried green beans were also fun to try! I see they're also on Too Good To Go.

It seems the veggie burger movement has slowed and beef may be the current king of the hill, but be sure not to let a good vegan spot fall by the wayside. A perfect place to visit would be PLNT burger. There is a good amount of seating and the dining area is immaculate. And the signature burger and sweet potato fries were delicious! Similar prices to Shake Shack and worth a visit for casual, vegan food.

Best vegan burgers in NYC hands down. Great for late nights as they are open until 11pm on Broadway, close to local train stations in the Flatiron district. The night staff are super friendly and generous. Shout out to the manager who remembers his regulars! When it was my first time trying their burger, they gave me recommendations which got me hooked on their specialty sauces to add with their seasoned fries. Personally my favorite must be the mushroom BBQ burger which was the first one I tried. Overall the quality and taste of their burgers, fries and house made sauces are supreme if you are open to vegan food. I believe I've tried all the burgers; I was especially surprised with the "chicken" as it really felt like I was eating chicken. The seasoned fries are really unique compared to many other burger shops around the area. I've yet to try their shakes though which looks like they update the flavors. Ambience: clean and organized. Outdoor seating in the summer time. I highly recommend for any burger lover interested in trying something new. Honestly they taste like "regular" burgers minus the meat! ;P Accepts Apple, card and cash. Bathroom available. Open late. Kiosk available. Indoor/outdoor, delivery, takeout. Bon appetit!

Absolutely love PLNT Burger. I've been vegan for 8 years and this is my fave "vegan fast food" spot. I love the fact that non-vegans enjoy this place too, goes to show you how good it is. The service is always seamless when I pick up my order, and the restaurant is so cute aesthetically.

I've always enjoyed my meals at PLNT burger but unfortunately every time I eat there, I get sick afterwards. I'm not sure if it's because they leave the burgers sitting out under a heat lamp or what. I still go for their milkshakes but I haven't gotten food from them in a while because I don't want to get sick .

The pork soup dumplings arrived literally spilling pink/red liquid that looked like blood. My mother had never tried soup dumplings before, so we were hoping for a fun experience, but she immediately spit it out. I brought it back and showed the staff the uncooked pork and the blood/red liquid on the napkin. They simply re-steamed them and brought them back except now there was no soup left inside the dumplings at all. The chicken teriyaki was tough and chewy, almost like jerky, as if it had been overcooked on an extremely hot grill or deep fried too long. The spring rolls were mediocre at best, with vegetables inside that had a mushy, paste-like texture. Very disappointing. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the rice. I was happy to see certain items on the menu were designated as vegetarian. If I lived in town I would come back and try all their veggie friendly options. The small order of veg dumplings was a very reasonable price and portion. I thought they were well stuffed with veggies. I was a little disappointed with the dumpling wrapper- i prefer a lighter softer wrapper. But overall I still ate it all, and it was a quick nice snack. My husband really enjoyed his orange chicken with rice and veggies. It was a huge portion- he was only able to eat half of it. Great value.

This time at the Times Square location after seeing Oh! Mary. Classic cheese smashburgers paired with Mexican Cokes. It's easily one of the better smashburgers around--juicy patty, delicious sauce, grilled onions, pickles and a soft bun. The burgers are on the smaller side (not White Castle small, but my daughter usually eats two!), but at $6.50 for a single patty cheeseburger, it's a OK value. Don't skip the fries--they are crispy, delicious, and a generous portion for the price. Quick, easy, and fast! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and easygoing. One small snag at this location. My daughter requested, "no pickles." There were pickles in her burger. No biggie. She simply took them out and gave them to me. This location's supervisor overheard us. He apologized. We told him it was ok. No big deal. He didn't accept that. While we appreciated his standards, we felt put on the spot as much as his crew did. We felt bad for the cashier and made sure we told him we were sorry for how things went down. None of it was needed nor justified. Hence, the 4 out of 5 stars! Fast-casual vibe that feels a bit more low-key than standard fast-food joints. At this location there's a few booths, but they are usually occupied. We had to wait a few minutes until people left to get seats. 7th Street always hits!
