We recently rented a home with Pleasanton Properties and had a very positive experience. They were responsive and helpful, answered every question, scheduled a showing right away, processed our application immediately, and then made our transition as smooth as possible. We are longtime renters in the East Bay, and this has been the most positive experience for us. They care about both the properties and the tenants, and make every effort to ensure everyone is happy. I highly recommend working with them. read more

I can sincerely say that working with Daisy has been one of the most horrific experiences I have ever had as a landlord. She is charming when she wants to land you as a client, but once she starts managing, it is a whole different tone. She is rude, condescending, and dishonest. There are too many instances where she lied to us or misrepresented the facts just so she didn't have to put more effort in. Needless to say, we cut ties with her last year and have never regretted it for a moment. She is not a property manager. She is a hustler. I would NEVER work with her again. read more

Daisy found tenants for our rental in Pleasanton. All was fine until she disclosed to them we would be selling the house. We indeed had thoughts to sell at some point in the future, but never gave any notice. We might have decided to keep the house as a rental, or for the family. This was by no means information Daisy had rights to share with the tenants, and they were understandably very stressed and found another place to rent. In representing us as our property manager, it was absolutely not in Daisy's purview to share a conversation we had about future possibilities, though she disagreed saying, "they're just upset because they have to move." She even had the audacity to offer herself as a selling agent. She is a bad actor. read more

It is a scam! worst company ever, stay aware. I was interested in the property listed by them, but they never were able to show it! they are very unprofessional people. They want me to apply without seeing it! read more

I hardly know where to begin to express my extreme gratitude to Daisy and her team for the beyond excellent service I have received over the past decade. I became a Landlord when I got married in 2006. I had no clue what I was doing and made my fair share of mistakes. Daisy consistently helped keep my rental home occupied with the best tenants available at that point in time. Over the years I continue to be able to raise the rent based on the market and I'm finally making money on this property. Recently I had a tenant break their lease without giving a moments notice. With the help of Daisy and her amazing business partner contractors and Pleasanton Mgmt team members I was able to flip the property and have it re-rented in ONLY 17 days. Not only that but the new tenant paid the full year upfront in cash! To say I am a happy customer is a huge understatement I am over the moon grateful and appreciative to Daisy and her team! I don't know where you're at with your property management journey but I would encourage you to look no further. Pleasanton Management will take care of your property needs. I guarantee that you will be writing the next five star review! Thank you Pleasanton Mgmt team!!! read more

I have been dealing with Daisy from Pleasanton Management for the past 4 1/2 years. She recently found another place for me and I couldn't be happier. Daisy is very Professional, Honest and takes care of any issues immediately. She has suggested rental options that would work for me and not just because it's a listing. I appreciate her knowledge of the business and her integrity. I would not hesitate to refer her to a friend. read more

I have had the honor to work with Pleasanton Management for over 16 years and every time they exceed my expectations! I was very concerned about renting out my home due to personal attachment to it. But having a professional to come in and handle the logistics of qualifying a tenant and helping to find the best applicants is truly a specific skill set. Many people do not have this but who has this in spades is Daisy Borba and her company Pleasanton Management. I couldn't be more grateful for how quickly they were able to re-rent my property. A year and a half ago Daisy help me find wonderful tenants all of a sudden they needed to move to Canada for personal reasons. Within a week of notifying Pleasanton Management the property was listed they were applicants and I'm even able to rent the property out at a higher rent now. I have always been able to partner with Pleasanton Management for guidance over the years and areas of property management and I would never go to anyone else. I highly recommend you work with Pleasanton Management to list your property you will definitely be glad that you did! read more

Daisy and her company were contracted to act as property management for the house next to me after the owners moved back east. There were very clear instructions given by the owners regarding conduct of the tenants, bothering the neighbors with noise or other issues, number of animals allowed on property, number of tenants allowed to live in the unit and number of cars to be parked on the premises. Ms. Borba did not enforce any of these conditions and instead left late evening disparaging phone messages regarding my complaints of loud noisy parties with music broadcast over speakers until all hours of the morning, illegal activity on the property, 7-8 cars parked daily when only 3 were allowed, extended family moving in with 7-8 residents rather than the 5 allowed/mandated due to the home being on a private septic system, and number of animals issues. The tenants were allowed to have 1 dog, 1 horse and some poultry per the lease. Instead they weekly increased the animal population to finally include 4 dogs, which were vicious and attacked 2 neighbors and bit one neighbor, over 14 goats along with a breeding operation and an uncertified raw diary product business advertising their products on line, 2 bulls and a cow, ducks, chickens, roosters and an illegally parked travel trailer that someone was living in. The prior tenant had installed an illegal marijuana growing operation with a couple hundred plants and grow houses with lights and fans so this was not a one time bad tenant problem but rather a lack of management problem. Daisy did not inspect the property, regulate activity on the property nor enforce the terms of the lease agreement. When notified of the activities on the property in violation of the lease agreement she called the reporting party with a long tirade of insults and name calling and angry demands that the reporting party quit documenting the violations and quit making the owners of said property aware of same. She insisted, erroneously, that there was a current moratorium on evictions and there was nothing she could do when in fact the moratorium only existed for tenants who could not pay their rent due to hardships related to Covid and not due to lease violations. Pleasanton Property Management and Daisy Borba seem to be only interested in receiving the commissions on the rental fees and unwilling to actively manage the property. She does not do her homework and uses poor judgement. She is rude, unprofessional and dishonest in her dealings with the neighbors. I will never use her to represent me in any way. read more

My son reached out to contact to inquire about seeing the home. He received no phone call back. I then texted the contact person- no text back. So then I inquire on zillow to ask if there was a supra because I could just show it myself because I am a Realtor. I get redirected back to the person who has not responded. Great. /sarc read more

One star is even too many! When I rented a home through Pleasanton Property Management, I was constantly stressed out. First off; the house was not delivered ready to go since it was still dirty with lots of repairs needed. They ignore calls and emails, don't follow through, when they do reply, they're rude as ever. Do yourself a favor and don't work with them. Daisy and her team are LIARS and a complete waste of time to deal with. read more

I have worked with Daisy and her company for over 15 years for tenant finding and I am always impressed with the amazing personal service and value. Finding a quality tenant is critical to a good experience with managing a property. There is a lot of background research that goes into the review. I appreciate that I can look at potential renter candidates data in an organized and clear way so I can make an educated decision on who is the right fit for my property. 5+ stars ALL THE WAY. Daisy has been simply amazing to work with. I called her in November of 2018 as my husband and I had been looking for rental property to purchase and I wanted to see if she could recommend any good areas given she ran a solid Property Management business. Daisy spent over an hour on the phone with me going through what to expect, good/bad rental areas, what to look for in a property/tenant, etc. She was a wealth of useful information and shared it without any strings attached. After an amazing conversation (which I have to say, I was stunned that she openly shared as much as she did without asking or expecting ANYTHING in return). After talking with my husband and telling him how amazing she was, I called her back and asked her if she could be our Buyer's Agent. I think she was genuinely surprised. Fortunately, for us, she agreed. During our search, Daisy provided expert guidance when it came to locations, properties, upgrade requirements along with rough numbers as to what she would expect the upgrades repairs to cost, and offers/counters. When I would ask about a property, she would give me the good, bad, and ugly - and made sure to tell me whether it would "pencil out" based on the guidelines we gave her. She was always available and was always quick to respond. Her sense of humor was priceless and certainly helped lighten things up when we ran into speed bumps. Thanks to Daisy, we just closed on a condo at an amazing price (below market value) in a great location. Daisy provided guidance with regards to repairs and upgrades we were planning on having done and provided us with stellar contacts for contractors to do upgrades, plumbing and general handyman work. She had her plumber on standby ready to start the day we closed and the contact she gave us for our upgrades is ready to start work once the plumber is done. To top it off - we officially closed yesterday and she already has at least one strong candidate that has applied and is eager to sign! I cannot fully express my gratitude and sincere appreciation for Daisy and her team. I have already recommended her services to several people I know and will not hesitate to continue to do so. read more

As a tenant I appreciate how fast Pleasanton properties responds and the level of professionalism of Hector Vega and Jackie. During the summer when it was 100 my air conditioner went out and they had it repaired within 24hours . I discovered a leak and Hector was so patient and kept me in the loop as the plumber fixed the leak and he repaired drywall . read more

Daisy and her assistant Jackie were extremely unprofessional and one of the worse "Realtors" I have dealt with in this area. The first time I called regarding a property I got no response and a text message before 7am the very next day stating she was at a Warrior game the night before. That day she gave me the lockbox code to view a property, when I called to get into the property and had questions she said "I have an international call coming in on the other line," and immediately hung up on me. I loved the location of the rental and was willing to put up with temporary rudeness. Fast forward to later that evening after I viewed the property I stated that I was very interested and I receive another text message that states, "Apply tonight now," The text were short, rude and answered with emojis. Now TODAY I receive a call from Jackie, telling me that my roommate and I got accepted for the property and congratulations, THEN Jackie stated, oh wait, not you they went with someone else. Ok, have a great day. Once I get off the line with Jackie my roommate calls me to tell me Jackie called her and told her we got the property as well and then said, Oh, no, not you a different tenant. When I wrote Daisy to inform her of how unprofessional all of this was the text was so generic and vague, " Sorry she must have confused u with other applicants." Not even proper grammar. Renter/Buyer beware! read more

On April 6th, 2019 I texted a Tracy at Pleasanton Property Management. to see a home in Seven Hills, Castro Valley. She had a showing planned for that day which I attended. Tracy was not there, but two other young women were hosting the showing. They advised that only one other person had viewed the house and that I should apply right away if interested. I did think for a few days about whether or not to apply and before applying I texted Tracy to ask if they had already rented the property. I was told that the property was not yet rented and to go ahead and apply, which I did. The application fee is $40, so I paid $120 for my fiance, my mother and myself to apply, all of which was completed by 4/15. I actually texted Tracy that date and did not receive a response. I had called her several times throughout this process and she never answered and her voicemail was always full. On April 16, I figured I should reach out directly to Pleasanton Property Management as I wanted to confirm all my info was in for the application process. I sent an email to Daisy, no reply. Fast forward to today, April 22, 2019 and I received a text from Tracy saying that the owner of the home had selected another applicant. (I actually just signed a lease elsewhere). I asked Tracy if my credit had been ran and she said that the paperwork that came back to her did not have a credit report attached. Weird since I paid $120 to apply for a place that I THOUGHT would be giving me a fair shot at the application process. Since no one ran our credit I am very interested to know the criteria that was used to select an applicant for this home. When I requested my money back and explained that I felt this was a fraudulent practice, Tracy called me twice and then text that she was "looking into this". I don't personally feel like we have anything to talk about here. Professionalism and integrity go a long way as far as I am concerned and Tracy and Pleasanton Property Management have not demonstrated either one of those qualities in the experience I have had with this company. If my funds are not returned I do intend to report this matter to the Better Business Bureau. RENTERS BEWARE! read more

Daisy and her company had been hired by the people that own the house across the street from our home in Pleasanton to rent out their property again. I called her at 7:20 this morning as what I believed to be the new tenants had started moving in at 5:30 am on a Saturday morning. She explained those were not the tenants but the cleaning crew she had hired. When I asked her why she would have a cleaning crew show up so early, I thought 8:00 am was the minimum for beginning any work, she let into me that she has every right to have a cleaning crew come at any time of the day that she chooses and that this was all the previous tenants faults for moving out a day late (they took their last load at midnight). Daisy then continued that we should call the police if the cleaners are making too much noise, that she herself wakes up at 6:30 every day (???), and that she is only in charge of leasing out the property and nothing else. Basically she was rude, unprofessional, and didn't seem to care about any inconvenience caused to anyone other than herself. So I figured it is what it is and hopefully she had found us some good neighbors and went on with my day. Then at 1:00 this afternoon Daisy sends me a sarcastic text? Wouldn't you think she'd leave not well enough alone? I don't know how to post the text messages from her but it compelled me to share my experience with Pleasanton Management (Properties?)! read more

Daisy was great to work with. She was able to find us a great home to rent in Pleasanton during the busiest rental time. We needed to move from the Peninsula to Pleasanton in July two years ago and we couldn't find anything. I contacted Daisy and within a week she found us the perfect home. She was very knowledgeable about the area and showed us around town. She really made our renting experience easy and worry free. I would refer daisy Borba anytime. read more
