Instead of just pushing a brand of contacts, I felt a part of the decision and he was honest about his preferences and why he leaned one way vs. another. I didn't plan on getting glasses, and my prescription didn't change too drastically, so he showed me what my vision would look like with and without new glasses to match my updated contact prescription, and wasn't pushy at all when I didn't end up purchasing new glasses too. I didn't wait long in the office and chatted with the ladies at the front desk...everyone was super friendly. When I received my contacts, which were conveniently shipped to my home, I was so surprised to also receive a wedding congratulations card! I had mentioned in our small talk during my appointment I was getting married this summer, and couldn't believe he remembered it let alone took the time to send a card, with signatures from entire office! I have NEVER had a doctors office do something like that, and have always just felt like "another customer". I truly appreciated the genuineness and will definitely be a returning client.

Dr. Ayers is patient, and explains everything she is doing, and explains everything you don't understand. Now I know exactly where I stand with the health of my eyes; other optometrists weren't nearly as thorough, nor did I get the impression that the other optometrists actually cared about the health of my eyes. What Dr. Ayers has pointed out as concerns, other optometrists have consistently neglected to mention. By the way, this visit was paid for completely out of pocket, not by insurance. Is it more? I don't know, and I guess I really don't care if it is, since it's my vision at stake. My opinion (for whatever it's worth), is go here if you care about your eyes, don't bother seeing anyone else.

They did help me understand why the eyeglasses I had to order elsewhere (they said their lab couldn't make the lenses), are not working properly.
