Utterly pathetic!…read more After being referred from the Costco eye center (he needs to find someone else to refer his patients) for having a larger than normal dilapidation of sight I was sent on a wild goose chase By these doctors. This goose chase included an MRI a CT of the arteries of my neck and a serious surgical procedure that has left visible permanent scars. Due to the utterly pathetic original diagnosis I received at this clinic other doctors treated me with large doses of prednisone. I am now type 2 diabetic as a result. Luckily I consulted a very good neurologist in Illinois who had me seen within 72 hours at Wheaton eye clinic/NorthWestern by a Nuero Opthamologist who advised me, and the clinic, that he/they could find nothing that supported the original or any diagnosis (and wrote and tell them so) I would not under any circumstances go here if you have any under lying conditions as this clinic is simply not experienced enough to handle it and not self aware enough to pass you onto people that do have expertise beyond the ability of the clinic. Instead of just pushing a brand of contacts, I felt a part of the decision and he was honest about his preferences and why he leaned one way vs. another. I didn't plan on getting glasses, and my prescription didn't change too drastically, so he showed me what my vision would look like with and without new glasses to match my updated contact prescription, and wasn't pushy at all when I didn't end up purchasing new glasses too. I didn't wait long in the office and chatted with the ladies at the front desk...everyone was super friendly. When I received my contacts, which were conveniently shipped to my home, I was so surprised to also receive a wedding congratulations card! I had mentioned in our small talk during my appointment I was getting married this summer, and couldn't believe he remembered it let alone took the time to send a card, with signatures from entire office!
