Sunday marked our first visit to Lake Pleasant. When we arrived at the entrance, we were greeted by a lovely lady who collected the $9.00 entry fee. After paying, she directed us to follow the blue arrows to the shuttle pick-up area, which was very well-organized. We found the shuttle area, and within 10 minutes, we were on a golf cart ride to the marina, provided by a volunteer working for tips. The marina is quite small, featuring a general store, Dillons Bayou restaurant, kayak and boat rentals, and a thrilling waterslide that propels you into the air before splashing into the water. The general store had a mishmash of products, some of which made sense and others that did not. Surprisingly, there was a lack of interesting items. In a separate review, I gave Dillons Bayou 3 stars. The well-maintained area was a testament to the care it receives. We savored the picturesque sunset before heading home, illuminated by the enchanting full moon. For those seeking a memorable day or evening trip and lacking a boat of their own, a journey to Lake Pleasant via the 303 to exit 131 is a worthwhile adventure. read more

For many years I told boats around Arizona and had all kinds of issues. About 9 years ago we put our pontoon boat into Pleasant Harbor dry storage that was the very best decision we ever made. Terry and Lyle at Century Marine are very convenient and have done excellent work on my boat over the years. Evan and his team that handle the yard and boat retrieval and a host of other things have done an outstanding job they have made my voting experience wonderful. Such a close and convenient place to go camping. There is an rv campground with full hookups but almost impossible to ever get in due to the high number of people living in there. Also the spots near the grass have a 3 month minimum right now so that also was a bummer.The ringtail camp area is a great option though. It is dry camping but for just a few days totally doable. The marina is so nice & they have a shuttle to take you back & forth. Also there is a dump station by the south boat ramp. read more

Three friends and I rented a sailboat for an afternoon of relaxation. We got there and were shown all the safety features of the 22' sailboat and the rules going in and out if the harbor. Since I hadn't sailed since I lived in SoCal, I was a bit rusty but settled in for some awesome wind on the lake! I had forgotten how much work sailing is trying to get maximum speed out of the boat, but we all had a blast. I would recommend sailing if you have experience, at Pleasant Harbor marina. I pay $400 a month for dry storage to easily access my boat, turns out the marina can't keep employees so there is only one guy to launch all boats! I called to schedule my boat for Sunday, they said no! Don't go there if you want access to your boat. They must not pay enough, or have a toxic environment. The customer service here SUCKS! We paid for a long weekend in the primo spot. Left for a 20 min. for a short desert ride and the guy up front would not let us back into the park even though ALL OUR STUFF...CAMPER, TRUCK and EVERYTHING was at our camp spot. We had to pay EXTRA to get back to our spot. This is shit and you guys should really use some damn common sense. Never camping at this place again! I'd advise you to not either! You're customers come here to boat and desert trail offroad...they most likely are NOT carry there camp spot pass!!! read more

I have my boat in 'The Stack' at Pleasant Harbor Marina. The service there is awful. They created a launch request system with a new website that doesn't work 99% of the time. I've brought this up to management, and they don't care. After I complained for a couple months, leaving voice mails, I finally received a call back. It took her 4-5 attempts to get a request to actually post to their list, and then she confirmed that she'd never even tested the system before. The guys launching the boat refuse to launch you if the system kicks out your request. I pay thousands of dollars a year for a premium service that they do not provide. Honestly 1 star is more than they deserve. The other marina, Scorpion Bay, gives amazing service, but they don't have a covered storage option. :( read more

Do not go here if you are going to Lake Pleasant! This marina is only that a marina. They have no shoreline access. And if you make a mistake going here they don't offer refunds and lie to you saying that the entrance fee that you paid them works on the "other side" of the lake. THIS IS NOT TRUE! The other side of the lake is Lake Pleasant Regional Park (ran by Maricopa County). And there is another fee to get in there. I guess it would be ok if you want to rent a boat, paddleboards or ride the slide. But if you want to swim and hang by the water go to the Park side. read more

We used this marina for a few years, but the service level and overall quality has really gone downhill. We finally moved out as they reduced or eliminated more and more services, and replaced the long-term and knowledgeable employees with new people that don't really know anything. It's difficult to get anything done or any help here, and if they agree to help you with anything, the hourly clock is always ticking ($$$). The attitude is the final straw; they act like you're disturbing their work. Overall the facility is middle of the road. The docks themselves consist of concrete pavers over floating structure, and are *impossible* to walk on barefoot. They are too hot in the summer, and the stony surface cuts your feet in any weather. This is disappointing for a marina. There is a large restaurant/bar facility, but the service is extremely slow and the prices are astronomical. Food quality is middle of the road. There are fuel and pump-out docks. The service docks are a little small so there is often a wait to pump out or fuel. They let people park at or near the service docks and walk to the store, tying up precious space. Fuel price is decent and the pump-out stations are well-made and function well. Slip prices have gone down lately as so many people have moved out due to the lack of quality and service. There may be bargains to be had if you don't mind the negatives. Just watch your contract, some people have reported that the price on the paperwork varied from the verbal price given. read more

I've been here a multiple times to go boating. It's not that great but not bad either. Clean facilities for the most part. What I can't deal with is the bad attitude from the staff. Most of the people that work here suck, not all like Mike and the SUP people. You have chumlee answering the phones who doesn't know how to communicate. When I go there everyone is in back smoking. The old lady knows what she is doing but has a horrible attitude. And this place needs some security... I watched a drug deal go down waiting for the shuttle that never showed up. I would be afraid to moor my boat here because of all of the drug addicts loitering and lack of security to get to the boats. The marina is equally as crappy as you let the uncle eddies of the world live here and have a bunch of junk laying around. I couldn't walk to my friends boat without getting blasted by cigarette smoke from people sitting in the middle of the walkway. And this place is dangerous, you have people tied up together in front of Dilions. Dillion's is kind of gross but that is a separate review. And lastly, what gives with the shuttles. It's not like you're hurting for cash as your fees to the county are spectacularly low and you charge $6 to get in. Clean up your act Pleasant Harbor Marina!
