I was a bit reluctant to go again since it's not really my thing. The drive was about an hour from Chandler area. I believe we went to the 10 lane boat ramp area which has a pretty wide ramp which made it easy for them to get the boat and jet skis in. It was a super hot day but the water was pretty nice. We were out there at 4pm and didn't get back to the boat ramp until after 8pm. Long enough for me! Some of them tried wakeboarding which looked fun! Unfortunately, due to some joint issue, I wasn't able to try it. It didn't seem super packed that weekend so that was nice. I did kinda wanted to checkout the Marina area but we didn't get to do that.

So many photo opportunities with different trucks and a wonderful view of Lake Pleasant. The event was free and you only had to pay for parking ($9) which is an amazing price to pay for an activity to do with the kids. There are also benches and covered seating areas, which make it easy to spend a good amount of time there comfortably. The park is very family-friendly, with a playground, pickleball courts, a volleyball area, and even two separate dog parks--one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. Nearby, there's also a community pool and a sports area where you can play games like baseball. They also host festivals throughout the year, and during Christmas, the decorations are especially beautiful and add a nice festive touch. Parking is convenient and free, which is a huge plus. There's also a smaller college located nearby, which adds to the community feel of the area. Overall, it's a well-maintained, welcoming park with something for everyone.

Some people ignore dog size signs which can be dangerous and patrol is very slow to respond. Beautiful area to fish, walk, bbq, huge park for the kids. Plenty of parking, bathrooms are pretty well kept up. We go here daily. We're very fortunate to have such a wonderful park.

I have rented Kayaks from Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch several times over the past few years and have…read morealways had great service and a wonderful experience. Reserving a spot and kayak is easy on the online website. Once you navigate down to the main road to the Guest Ranch, it can be a little confusing as they always have a roadblock as you progress towards the parking lot. Just proceed past the sign to the parking lot ahead. After parking, walk back towards the ranch and check in. Guest services will provide a wrist band as well as a parking pass to place on your dashboard. Once your reservation time is ready, you will be provided a quick orientation of the equipment, navigation of the river and where the staff will pick you up at the end of your float. The staff is always super helpful. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a carabiner to hook on your dry bag or backpack to the kayak. Even though the majority of the river is an easy float, there are some small rapids. You may accidentally flip the kayak if you get caught in a tough spot on the River. This will prevent you from losing your bag! I'm experienced and have flipped once or twice. Depending on the time of year and water flow, the float can take 2 or 3 hours. Beautiful views of the landscape, wildlife including various birds and the gorgeous wild horses! At the end of the float, the staff will load your kayaks and take you back to the Guest Ranch. In the main building, be sure to stop by the gift shop prior or after the float for souvenirs or in case you forgot supplies you may need. They have several items including sunscreen, water shoes, hats, shirts snd much more. I found prices to be reasonable. This is the perfect place to bring out of town visitors. They will love it.

We had the ski's on the water for 5 days. They were very flexible and communicative. They let me pick them up a day early and didn't charge me for it. They even let me drop them off @ 7:30 pm on July 4th! They worked with me and my schedule as I came from Tucson and picked them up on my way through going out and coming back. They provided 7 life vests for various options for our group of 12 people. To top it all off the price was over 3 times cheaper then renting ski's @ the Marinas!
