This newly remodeled laundromat is super clean, well maintained and has staff onsite during business hours. All the machines are new and work well. They offer 3 sizes of machines depending on your load capacity. No cash, no problem. They have an App to use to pay for washers and dryers which is super convenient. This is the only dry cleaner in town so they are busy. And since they no longer do their dry cleaning in-house, the turn around time is a little longer but I've had good experiences with no issues. I really like the drop off wash and dry services they offer. I've taken several large blankets/quilts to have washed and dried with same day service. The staff has always done a great job, very friendly and only $22.

If I ever need change and my money doesn't go into the change machine the attendants are always happy to exchange out my money. Suffice it to say, if the character in that episode were to operate a Dry Cleaners - this would be the place. In fact, it is ready to go with no changes necessary. Quality cleaning but bad attitude service. Why 3 stars? They do a pretty good job on dry cleaing clothes. In fact, I've got a few shirts that are rayon or linen and have wooden buttons which are apparently difficult to service (I was lectured on this by one of the employees!) but they do a great job pressing and cleaning them. 4 or 5 stars for quality of work. But.... Service - you are greeted by multiple signs upon entering the counter area; all of them telling you in no uncertain terms what you can and can't do. These signs don't mince words nor do they set the right tone for the customers. For instance, if you don't have your reciept in hand, get the heck out of the way so others can be serviced. Bradford (previous review) already alerted you that they won't take your plastic cards -bring cash! And don't you dare offer them a coupon when you return to pick up your finished clothes - you must give them upfront when dropping off laundry. One of my favorites is the tatered and old sign warning you of a "severe hanger shortage" (meaning they want you to give them unused hangers). Severe? Really? You should see our closets. Also, why can you buy these for so cheap at Dollar stores if there is such a shortage? Lastly, if you don't have your ticket (and I'm sure we've all misplaced them at one time or other) - "NO SHIRTS FOR YOU!" Seriously, this was pretty much the attitude I got on a recent visit. Sigh....I had to go back home and come again the next day. My wife likes their work (and I do to an extent) or I wouldn't put up with their attitude. Must be nice to have such great soup or laundry that people will put up with poor service just to get it! After helping direct her car, and providing a little extra weight to a slipping tire, we were able to rescue her car from most certain doom. The only downside to all of this, is I was wearing a fairly new suit that had been in range of snow and road grime from the spinning tire. So I began to consider my local dry cleaning options. I had used another dry cleaner in the area before, and while they did a good job, I felt that they were a little overpriced. Apple Cleaners being closer then any other place to wear I lived, received the first look during my investigation. This place got off to a really good start by offering coupons on their website (so check that out). I was able to get a $9 coupon off my bill for a 2 piece suit. Securing that deal I decided that Apple was worth a shot. Now this place is in a strip mall, and it is a dry cleaners, so I was expecting a bare sterile looking place when I walked in. This place is decorated nicely on the inside, which was an unexpected nice touch. I did go in on a Monday after the holidays, early in the morning to drop off my suit, and the place was busy. The line was 4 people deep when I walked in and only one person (there are two kiosks) working the desk. She did seem really annoyed when she saw me walk in, maybe the first day back from a long break was to blame but it wasn't very welcoming. She took my suit and my coupon and gave me my date to come pick it up, which was 3 days later. She explained that there was a longer wait, because they were backed up losing working days to the holidays. Went back when my suit was ready for pickup. New person working the desk, the place was empty, but it didn't stop her from giving me a very un-welcomed vibe when I walked through the door. I presented my pickup ticket and she quickly got my suit. They had done a great job and everything looked to be fine. The coupon left my remaining bill in the steal category so I was pretty happy about that. I would not hesitate to use Apple Cleaners again, especially with the coupons offered. This would of been a 5 star review though if it hadn't been for the service. We don't have to be best friends, but please don't give me the impression that I am ruining your day by being there.

Also, I had a pair of EILEEN FISHER silk pants that I dropped off and that they couldn't find. Through several phone calls, they asked me to check 'my husband's closet' 'if my kids wore them'. I DO keep track of my $250 silk pants from Eileen Fisher. I would never wash them. I kindly asked if the owner wanted to keep a customer and pay for the shirt and pants. -- He said 'they had no record of the pants - ' duh! because they lost them. Then, made a snide comment about reimbursing me for the shirt. Alexandra's didn't have a ton of photos, but the language in previous reviews pointed me in their direction. The shop is co-located with a hair salon. I'm not sure if the hair salon keeps the same hours, but I posted a photo of Alexandra's hours here on Yelp. Double check before heading their way. They work SUPER hard to make alterations to your specifications. They will also make recommendations according to your garment's material(s) and what they have seen work and not work before. They have worked magic on my dresses, taken in jeans, and altered tops, hems, gowns, quilts, and more for me. They truly can do it all. The shop ladies are extremely friendly in a no-nonsense kind of way.....does that make sense? What I mean is - It seems like everyone in the area takes their items there, so they STAY busy. They have to stop working on their current project to help you, so it's usually less chit chat and more, "Go in and try it on." As I write this in 6/2025, I think the current return time os 8/2025. Keep in mind, June is right after prom season and right in the middle of wedding season. If I knew how to sew, I'd apply for part time basic work just to learn more from these ladies. The prices are reasonable. I always pay in cash as a nod to small business keeping more of monies earned. Lastly, check out my pictures of their seasonal "porch display." Most of the garments displayed are remnants of cloth these ladies fashioned into a dress. I KNOW the necklace paired with the winter dress was made with recycled buttons.
