Carne asada with rice
Monica G.

Usually get the chicken and cheese quesadillas but I've decided to try the carne asada and it is so delicious! I don't get get the pico de gallo nor the beans just the rice. I really enjoy it! Service is fast and excellent.

Food was delicious. Restaurant was very clean and the all staff were very pleasant. Restrooms are supplied and clean.

Everything at Plaza Azteca was really delicious, and we had an absolutely amazing server. The food came out so fast I was surprised! The guac was fresh and flavorful. I loved the birria tacos - if you've never tried it before or you're already a fan, you'll love these. Flan is one of my favorite desserts, and this did not disappoint. We'll definitely be back to try more of their menu and check out the really nice patio area!

Margaritas and chips

Great Margaritas! Good food and fast service. This is always my go to place on a Friday to start the weekend. Even when there is a wait, it is never too long!

Service was fast but also felt rushed. Food and Ambiance were decent. The best part of this meal was the Long Island iced Tea.. if we return, it will be for the bar!

Plaza Azteca is always an option especially if we want to eat dinner late on the weekends. They close at 11pm. Although they do not serve authentic Mexican food, their food is pretty decent and we love their drinks because they are good and quite cheap for cocktails. Our last trip was the most delightful of all due to their service. I ordered beef fajitas and I asked for my beef cooked medium rare. If I don't ask for medium rare, the beef tend to be well done and there are times when it gets tough. Plus I like having a little sauce cos it adds flavor on my food. The only drawback is it gets messy. My SO ordered beef chimichanga. Their chimichanga is different than what we are used to. They didn't include the rice and beans inside the roll, but it was still good. I always get their piña coloda, which very refreshing. It seems like the alcohol content depends on whoever makes it. There are times when I can taste the alcohol and there are times when I can't. My SO ordered the coronita. He enjoyed it so much because he said that when his margarita is done, he still have a corona. It's pretty much a 2 in one drink. Our server was the highlight of our meal. He was very friendly and he was giving us good suggestions on our food. He was very accommodating to our requests as well. He is definitely one of the best servers we had. With exceptionally good service, delicious drinks, and decent food, Plaza Aztec is definitely a good place for Mexican foods. Sure you can find a more authentic Mexican restaurant than Plaza Azteca, but it still worth trying. This place is on my list on my next white salsa and chips cravings.

My brother used to work there and a lot has changed. The only thing that hasn't was their amazing food and drinks. I have and will continue to recommend this place.I love their tableside guacamole, it just is the best food option in the area.

Sixteen dollars for three Al pastor tacos, yet all I could taste was corporate bloat. But they'll keep refilling that Pepsi

Great location. Indoor and outdoor dining (not just some chairs in a parking lot). Outdoor bar (not frequently used).

The staff is always welcoming here, and one of the things we appreciate most is the consistency. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, the food is reliably fresh, flavorful, and served with a smile. After a rather indulgent lunch, we decided to keep dinner light and split the Chicken Taco Salad along with a small quesadilla. The taco salad arrived in a crisp tortilla bowl piled high with seasoned chicken, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and plenty of melted cheese. The quesadilla was nicely toasted with tender chicken and gooey cheese, while the creamy refried beans rounded out the meal perfectly. Everything was simple, satisfying, and prepared with care. If you're looking for authentic Mexican street food, friendly service, and generous portions at a fair price, La Hacienda continues to deliver. It's the kind of dependable neighborhood restaurant that earns repeat visits, and we'll certainly be back.

The place…read morewas quite empty (there were a few folks in there, but it was by no means busy), and we were seated right away. Now we knew we were trying it by coming in so late and kind of close to closing time, so we were by no means making a fuss about what would or would not be available. Our waiter was very nice (albeit a bit awkward), but we were able to order quickly and in true good Mexican food restaurant fashion, the food came out quickly as well. It was all fresh and quite good (I believe I ordered street tacos and my friend ordered birria tacos). Missed opportunity for them not having sauces on the table, but also understanding that a) it was late, and b) all Mexican restaurants don't do this, especially if they are not a taqueria or another spot that focuses on tacos. The ambiance was fine, nothing special, but it felt nice in there. The seats weren't too close together, and even the booths had quite a bit of room, so that was nice. It was also all a good price, in my opinion! I would definitely go back to this spot, and honestly I'm kind of curious to know if it's different at different times of the day (Saturday afternoon/evening vs. a weekday/night).

Started with the blood orange margarita which was a 0/5 stars. It was awful. The spicy salsa they brought was also awful, the mild salsa was pretty okay. The chips were pretty good too. I ordered the Al pastor quesadilla and it had good flavor, but the lettuce salad looked old and the rice was overcooked. My friend got the spinach and chicken enchiladas and said they were decent. I don't know how someone could call this "authentic " Mexican. Only those who have never had authentic Mexican would! I would not return and do not recommend.

Waiter was quick to bring us chips and salsa and also take our drink orders. I tried their large Midnight Margarita (10/10) I loved the flavor and it was STRONG! For food, I was craving steak, and saw Steak El Amigo (10/10) on the menu. It was very flavorful, tender, seasoned, cooked exactly how I wanted it, and more than enough food for me. The steak was topped with cheese sauce, shrimp, fajita vegetables, peppers, and mushrooms. Also came with a side of rice and beans and tortillas. Def my new go to spot for sure. Already planning to go back next Tuesday, this time, to try some tacos and other drinks! My overall rate of experience : 10/10

We were sat immediately around 630 on a Friday evening. We received chips and dips before I could even sit down! Our server promptly greeted us and drinks were ready within minutes. So far, so good. For dinner, hubby had the Vegetarian E which came with a burrito, quesadilla and chalupa, daughter had the kids quesadilla with beans and I initially selected the shrimp bowl. Our food took about 15 minutes. Both quesadillas were barely warm and the cheese wasn't even melted. The refried beans were loaded with red pepper and too spicy for my child. My shrimp bowl was overwhelmed by cheese and aioli that I couldn't stomach it. Our server kindly let me order something else so I selected the shrimp taco salad. It arrived shortly thereafter but was also so greasy it made my stomach turn. 2 stars just for service. 0 for food. Overall, this meal was an unfortunate waste of $50.

Our waitress was very sweet, She joked that "Taco Tuesdays" are "Taco Wednesday" when it comes to how busy they get. They did seem understaffed, and we waited quite a while before we could put in our actual order, but our waitress kept our drinks coming in the meantime, never running dry. We were also given chips and dip for the wait out of courtesy, so even though they did have a timing issue they treated their customers with the care I expect from all businesses. We tried a little bit of everything including 3 tacos 4/5 stars, Birria taco with consomme 3.5/5 stars, Elote fritters 5/5 Stars, empanadas 5/5 Stars, taco bowl 5/5 Stars, and chicken 2/5 stars with curly fries 4/5 Stars from the kids menu. The food was good (The apps stole the show) and there was plenty of tasty options, even though we didn't all leave satisfied with our taste buds our waitress made it a great experience. The bowl my spouse had he said it was amazing and well worth the price for how much you got, but the sides for the Birria tacos were lacking when it came to my oldest, so sadly, the food went to waste because he did not like the way it tasted. He did love the birria tacos part. Our waitress noticed that my youngest did not like the kids meal (even though we did not complain), took it off our table and off the bill. No questions asked. Overall we had a good visit and would be open to coming back to try more, they have a lot to choose from and the welcoming atmosphere was top tier.
