I'm adding another 5-star review because Platinum Movers deserves it. We relocated from Carpinteria to Napa. With a little more than a week to go before our planned moved date I called their number and left a message. Rob returned my call promptly and arranged to come to our home the same day to do a walk through and provide an estimate. A note of caution here based on experience: Never use a company that will only give you an estimate over the phone. We learned the hard way. On the day of our move Rob arrived with a crew of four. They took great care with our belongings and still got the load done quickly. They arrived at our new home the next afternoon as arranged and unloaded with as much care as was shown when loading up. Everything arrived safely. The final bill matched the original estimate. No sudden overages or hidden charges. If you are looking for a trustworthy and conscientious moving company then you need not look further in the Santa Barbara area. read more

I used these guys to help me move in last week and they were the best. I am in a new condo complex and was not able to get my 26 foot u-haul near my door. Platinum uses carts to help in the moving process and thank God they do. The 3 man team moved all of my stuff off the truck, moved it 400 feet to my building, and then took it up stairs, and did it all in 2:30 hours. I could not believe it. They were so professional, friendly, and never stopped. I could not have been happier with the group. They are also one of the more affordable movers here in Santa Barbara. I hired these guys to move my mom out of her 3-bedroom 2-bath house into a smaller 2-bedroom 1-bath house. They sent three guys and moved out her whole house in less than an hour and 20 minutes. Then they beat us driving up to the new house and unloaded there in about an hour and a half. They were very careful and took great care of my mom's things. Very professional and courteous. Very much recommend these guys! We called them somewhat last minute (only about two weeks in advance) and they provided us a fair quote and time they would arrive. We moved about two years ago with a similar size space and it took three guys 6 hours to move it all. These guys ran, no like they literally ran to and from the truck. He described how he would pack the truck and my protect my valuable items, which gave me a lot of confidence. He and his crew worked an hourly rate to pack the truck and literally ran up and down the stairs to my apartment to load the truck as quickly as possible. Platinum Movers are as good as it gets! I cannot say enough good things about this company and their crew. They are professional, so nice and went above and beyond! Support them and support local business! Rob and the two Nicks moved us into our new house. We moved a three bedroom, two bath house, all furniture, a trampoline and some miscellaneous items. They were incredibly careful with all of our items (not one thing damaged in the slightest). In fact, when I put my bed together, I found that a couple screws were missing, they had kindly tapped them to the side of the bed frame when they fell out at the old home. They were also in a great mood and so nice, which goes a long way when during the stress of a move. They were willing to help us with anything we asked for and with a smile on their faces too! They went above and beyond and moved a couple of larger pieces of furniture out of our current residence. When they moved our couch into the the new place and we realized it was too big, they gladly moved it out for us.
