The crew was efficient, but several heavy, high-value…read moreitems that were blanket-wrapped by their team -- including antiques, designer furniture, and custom marble pieces -- were damaged and broken. These were not items we packed ourselves, yet they were handled poorly enough to result in significant damage. When we filed a claim, Movegreen offered only $0.60 per pound coverage, plus a small additional "good faith" amount of $650 -- a tiny fraction of the replacement cost for furniture exceeding $35,000. Even after escalating to ownership, they refused any further compensation and closed the claim. While the move itself was logistically smooth, the lack of accountability for damaged items and the minimal settlement was extremely disappointing. I would caution anyone moving valuable or heavy furniture to carefully review coverage options and understand that Movegreen may not provide meaningful compensation if damage occurs as a result of their handling.

From Chelsea, to Brooke, to Frank onsite, to John...the entire team showed up for me. It was very easy to schedule and transparent. I was a nervous mover and they always made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Even when I thought there were missing items (turns out there were not) they scrambled to make sure there wasn't a single lost item. On my move-in day they had a nearby team finish early so they called them over and I had 6 team members get all my household inside in under 2 hours, including building back up my complicated office desk and king sized bed frame. Very grateful for their team and process. Highly recommend.

The hassle of moving was on my horizon all summer. Would I make the jump if an opportunity…read morepresented itself? Yes! Looking around at all my "stuff", I knew I was in trouble. It's amazing how quickly one can fill a space. I was at full capacity. Whenever I have a project, Yelp, has been wonderful in getting me the assistance needed. Elite movers was the first (and forever my only) company to request lots of pictures with all cupboards open, an approximation of cost and duration, and customer service that took the time to answer all questions. The move day went off without incident. My crew consisted of four strong fellas-my crap being packed left and right, furniture being moved, boxes toted off, things I wasn't taking headed for the trash etc. They were all done by 1:30 or so and headed to the new place so I stopped for pizza/soda for them. All boxes unloaded and furniture placed where requested. Elite finished their job by about 3:30. I like them less now. The remaining boxes to unpack seem to have multiplied in the garage like bunnies but at least they are in one place. Great value for the money and no stress with packing things safely! Give them a call if your next move has you out of sorts.- they won't disappoint. Thank you!

They accepted the job though the owner said it wasn't exactly what they normally do and made me pay up front. He assessed the property to be moved and though some boxes and items had water damage from a recent rainstorm leak, said things would be fine. For a short time, he supervised his young sons and then left them on their own. No one asked me or my husband any questions they may have had nor did they ever contact me with any concerns about wet from rain boxes. When they said they were done, my husband sent me photos of what the end result was. It was horrifying. Items were simply tossed upon other items. Everything was thrown in a Willy nilly fashion. When I contacted the owner, he was curt and unapologetic. I would like a refund but he threatened to block me. We were charged over $500 for 3 hours. In this case, sadly you do NOT get what you pay for.

At 11:12 PM the night before, Michael texted that he had "overbooked." Rather than asking if rescheduling was possible, he stated, "I NEED TO reschedule your job," offering a 5 PM arrival for the NEXT day or pushing the move to a couple days later. That is not a reasonable solution with less than 24 hours' notice. There was no apology and no attempt to accommodate the inconvenience caused. After that message, there was no follow-up communication. Additionally, we were told the company does not carry insurance, and that "our word is our insurance." Customers can decide for themselves whether that is acceptable when hiring movers. Based on our experience, this was unprofessional, poorly handled, and extremely stressful. We would not use or recommend this company. Mama Boy Movers stepped in last minute and handled the move professionally.

Kyle and his team called the morning of to let us know they were on their way and got there early. They loaded up so quickly, made sure everything was packed safely and secure. We even had two pick up stops for a storage unit and a house. Kyle's team made sure and accommodate us with placing items needing access for 2nd pickup easily for us. The staff is super nice and accommodating, and the the facility is immaculate. They have an easy auto billing system and they do their best to help you get the unit you need at a great price. Oh and there is candy in the office, that's always a double plus. Haha. I rented a 5' x 10' unit and it fit my 1 bed apt with plenty of room to spare (couch/ love seat, queen bed, 2 night stands, dining room table and 4 chairs, coffee table and three standing lamps + 6 boxes). Had an upstairs unit, but was able to use their dollies and freight elevator to bring up all I needed. The hardest part was trying to get friends to help me move. All in all a great place to store, I highly recommend them. I will gladly use again next time I need a place to store my stuff!
