They guys were great.! They were there on time, got down to business and were very helpful with any requests. Fortunately I will never have to move again.... But if you are, I would definitely recommend Pete's Superior Moving. read more

Worth every dang penny! I contacted Pete's Superior Moving to help load a U-Haul trailer and heard back from him within 2 minutes. Pete was able to accommodate our date and time and assured us his team would be ready to help. Boy were they ready! They showed up early, had amazing attitudes and over-delivered. A huge thanks to Pete and his team! They wrapped our furniture with care. The attention to detail was pretty incredible. They maximized every inch of space. I genuinely don't know how Hugo, Nick and Xavier did it. They were packing wizards! My husband and I were stunned! We're still talking about them. They made our moving experience so easy. They worked their butts off. Be prepared to tip well! You won't regret it. read more

Can't beat the price and service. Very reliable and trustworthy. They moved me from Santa Barbara to San Diego and did a great job.

Owner completely ghosted me after giving me a quote over the phone. Unreachable and unresponsive for two weeks before we gave up.

Amazing service! Contacted Pete 3 days before the move and we got it done in 3 hours from Goleta to SB. Mark, Chris, and Peter pulled up to our house right at 10 AM, and instantly got to Work. Within 3 hours we were fully moved into our upstairs apartment in DT, and it was a treck to say the least up those stairs in this hot heat. The guys were super nice and made this move a less dreadful experience. They took good care of our furniture and wrapped it up in plastic to protect it! Pricing was not bad at all! And beats renting a U-Haul and trying to do this on your own! Definitely recommend Pete's Superior Moving read more

Pete's Superior Moving - Guys taking our stuff into our apartment - Movers Near Me

I hired Pete's Superior Moving to relocate my 2-bedroom 1-bath apartment across town to a new place. Admittedly I had more things than I thought I did, so my final total was not anywhere close to my actual cost as it took a little longer than expected. I highly recommend being accurate with your audit before scheduling. The crew took better care of my things than I do. Furniture was wrapped, some items were reboxed into safer packaging, and even took my bed frame apart for me. I was very thankful for the help. read more

Professional, respectful and fast. Nothing was broken or damaged. Insured and good rates.

Pete's movers are fantastic! They did the impossible and moved a 400lb armoire up a flight of stairs without hurting anyone or anything! We were so impressed with their service and personable employees. We will absolutely use them again in the future. read more

Pete's Superior Moving - 400+ lb. Armoire - Movers Near Me

This is the third time Pete helped me out and moved me last minute. His guys treat all my belongings with care and show up exactly when they say. Pete's Superior Moving follows through on any details or requests and delivers this incredible service for a very reasonable price. I wouldn't look anywhere else for help moving - Pete's Superior Moving is far and away the way to go. read more

I reached out for movers just five days before a big move, and to say I was stressed is an understatement. I used Yelp's quote request feature and got flooded with replies from companies who honestly just wasted my time. Most wanted to schedule a call or a walkthrough before even giving basic info. Not helpful when you're on a tight timeline. Pete was the only one who responded quickly and got straight to the point. I actually inquired on Memorial Day itself and he texted me back almost immediately. We handled everything over text -- no unnecessary calls or back and forth. It was fast, efficient, and such a relief. I let him know within a couple hours that we were ready to book, and he locked it in that same day. We moved that weekend, just five days later. As someone who works in sales and communicates with people all day, I really appreciate when someone is direct and doesn't make things harder than they need to be. Pete made the process smooth from start to finish and took a huge weight off my shoulders. His crew, Victor and Mark, went above and beyond. Not only did they pack everything carefully and move us 2.5 hours away without a single issue, they unpacked my entire house and my car (which they towed for me too) before I even arrived. I had to finish some errands in Santa Barbara, and by the time I got to the new place, they had already met my parents, finished the job, and were gone. That kind of trust and professionalism is rare. The fact that all of this was done during a holiday week makes it even more impressive. If you're moving in or out of the Santa Barbara area and want a team that's reliable, efficient, and doesn't waste your time, Pete and his crew are the only ones I'd recommend. read more

Amazing service from these guys , sent a crew and knocked out a whole pod of heavy equipment in 2 hours. Will be using them again in the future, team was awesome and super friendly . Thank you guys. read more

We were moving from one Assisted Living place to another and they were familiar with staff and location at both places. And we had a complicated move with furniture being delivered to two different locations. These guys were amazing in the care they took with our stuff and keeping us imformed every step of the way. They even suggested a great furniture placement idea at the new location! Save yourself time, money and frustration as these are the guys you want! read more

Excellent 2 men on short notice moved my son into his apartment. Will definately use again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Did a great job for us on very short notice! We unexpectedly needed to pack up some family heirloom furniture (including a somewhat fragile glass-doored hutch) and ship it from CA to WA. They were available same day and the team did such a thorough and careful job packing everything up. The items arrived in perfect condition. Appreciated the speedy communication, on-time arrival, and friendly crew; would not hesitate to call on them again in future. read more

I can't recommend Pete and his team enough! From the very beginning, Pete was quick to respond to all my questions about quotes and coordinating my business move. The crew that came out was incredibly friendly, efficient, and so helpful throughout the entire process. I'll definitely be recommending them to others. Thank you all for making the move of my business equipment so smooth, I can't thank you enough. read more

Exceptional customer service and communication with Pete! He runs a great local business that I highly recommend and will use again. Pete took the time to talk through my needs prior to the move and stayed in communication up until moving day, which was flawless. They were on-time and had all the equipment necessary to take care of our belongings and safely transport them from Santa Barbara to Marin. Unloading on the other end was seamless too. Pete's THE BEST! read more

I can only see 70 reviews and cant understand why there are not more! We used Pete for a tri state move and for a 2nd move preparation and loading . Pete and his staff are the best, especially HUGO and MIKE the December 11 boyz :). Hands down. Pete guided me on how to pack my boxes - which was the best advice ever. They wrapped all of our furniture and loaded everything. 3 days on the road and unloading in below zero temps! Hugo had to go to the truck stop and buy a pair of pants and gloves to take the place of his Santa barbara shorts! If you want quality, good people and great prices look no further. Thank you guys for all you did! read more

Pete is amazing! I highly recommend him and company! He was a major help in this move. I needed someone next day to move from Lompoc to Turlock in less than 24 hrs and he pulled through for me. He took a lot of care in my items and mans moves fast His presence is like having family help you out. I was really impressed by him. read more

Wow!!! Pete & Crew rock! Best movers I've ever seen. Friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended by me for their promptness, fair pricing, kind and amazing workers who always smiled and were incredibly helpful, professionalism, and job quality. Pete recommended the size of storage I should get, and his crafty workers stacked it all in an easy to access neat Tetris pile! They did not complain when I changed my mind about furniture placement. They showed up on time and worked hard. All six workers were great guys-laughing and smiling all day. Highly recommend this local business. read more

Highly recommend!!! I've moved quite a few times in my life; this was by far the best experience I've ever had with it. Moving is inherently supposed to suck! Pete and his crew were great to work with, punctual, easy to be around and very professional and polite. They had a good time doing their job! They wrapped everything as it was supposed to be wrapped and handled everything with care! This was well worth the money! Don't move on your own, call Pete's Superior Moving and get the best for your valuables and your peace of mind. read more

The guys from Pete's just left and, they were so so kind and helpful!! They each introduced themselves, were professional and, right on time. I was clearly overwhelmed but, they kept offering to help move things here or there, until it was how I wanted it. I would absolutely use them again!!! read more

Pete and his team helped us pack our U-haul Pods two years ago, hands down the most professional service. They managed to fit everything in two pods and everything arrived in New Mexico intact. If I could give 10 stars I would!!! Amazing from beginning to end. Moving from SB to south California. Pete is wonderful to work with and him and his team are the most hard working, pleasant guys you can ever ask for!!! Recommend 100%! read more

So glad I found Pete. He has the true SB spirit: friendly and laid back. He was early and super simple to communicate with. I really appreciate that he talked through the move with me to make it as cheap as possible, instead of upselling. His rates were a full 1k cheaper than anyone else who quoted me (for a one bedroom move from SB to Berkeley) He is more of a call on the phone + text guy than formal email kinda guy- so just know that going it! read more

Reliable, friendly, and timely. Pete helped us move a large parsons table for a 200 mile drive. Communication and planning beforehand was super helpful. On the day of the move, table was wrapped tightly in moving blankets and well secured with tie downs and bungees. Highly recommend this company for any moving needs! read more

Thank you to an amazing crew of moving professionals at Pete's Superior Moving! Aptly named, the guys came in and did a superior job! Needed to move last minute over 130 miles away. I contacted Pete the day before and he was extremely responsive, accommodating and professional. Once he arrived, he was super friendly and efficient! I recently moved from Santa Barbara to the Bay Area and I called and requested quotes from all the moving companies in town. Pete's Moving was significantly lower than the competitors and this made me a little worried...but after talking to Pete on the phone, I was reassured! I'm really happy I chose Pete's moving. He was very responsive, handled all my items carefully, was very professional throughout the entire process, and was an absolutely amazing value! I can't recommend him enough! read more

Omg they are the best! I messaged one night pretty late in the evening and they responded almost instantly! I was surprised that they also had availability for me the NEXT day, which is what I needed because I was unexpectedly moving sooner than anticipated and my husband needed the help ASAP. So everything was organized and coordinated within 1 day only and communication was so easy and efficient. I am so thankful to Pete's Moving company because they helped us out in a time when we really needed it. They also helped with figuring out the price on the spot as I only needed help unloading the items from our truck and into our home. The pricing was very transparent and pretty good value, in my opinion, as other places had quoted me much higher prices. I highly highly recommend this moving company if you ever need one. As someone who does their research and messages multiple companies before making a decision, Pete's is the BEST hands down. Quick and clear communication, flexibility, open availability, and great service when moving your items. We are so thankful to them and will definitely book again in the future if we ever move again. Thank you! read more

I would give more than five stars if I could to Pete. He communicated well and gave me good advice when I needed it. He and his crew did a fabulous job with my move from Santa Barbara to Walnut Creek and were pleasant and friendly throughout the entire process. It made a very stressful process much easier. You cannot go wrong using Pete! read more

All I needed was help moving a sofa sleeper from a clients house to my house. Most of the movers here in town wanted more than what the couch was even worth, EXCEPT Pete! Pete did it for a reasonable amount and I was literally shocked at how fast they got it done. Support a local Santa Barbara business man and call Pete's moving, you won't be disappointed! read more

Don't call anyone else. Petes Moving is absolutely, hands down the best moving experience I have ever had. I called on a Sunday, Pete himself answered his phone and immediately gave me a price & a date. I later texted him & again he responded immediately. He showed up on the early side of his time frame window to move my treasures and drove everything that day to LA. He carried all my goodies up stairs and never bumped or damaged anything. Other tenants at the LA location were trying to hire him too because they saw how hard he was working. I can't even recommend highly enough. Thank you Pete for doing a job well done!!!! read more

Petes was fantastic. Responded immediately to a late and last minute request and sent two extremely professional, polite, hard-working, great guys to do the job. They communicated well, offered to come early (which was perfect), and finished ahead of schedule. Very methodical and thoughtful in their work. I would definitely hire them again. read more

Pete and his team were great. Pete was a great communicator before the move to organize a date and to decide if we did the move all it one day or to break it up over two days. We decided to do a same day move which was a long day for his guys but they were awesome. They were organized, handled our stuff well and overall very nice guys. Nothing broke during the move (which is a miracle and a first for me!) Thank you Pete and team for an awesome job. read more

I used Pete's services for a move from Goleta to the Bay Area. Pete and his crew did a great job, they were easygoing and professional. Handled my things with care. They packaged some of my furniture for long-term storage in a garage - wrapping it up etc. which was helpful. And the price is right - I have a hard time believing you'll get a lower quote from any of the large moving chains operating in the area. I think they don't have too many reviews here because they do some of their work through Uhaul, so maybe some of their customers think of them as "the uhaul guys" ? In any case I'm really glad I put my trust in them, the process was really as stress-free as you can ask for in a move. read more
