I've ordered from Plated by D a couple of times now. The first time was when they were located in Lodi, and I still remember my initial walk into their store -- seeing the jalapeño jams, the different sizes of guava jams and all of the intricate accessories they carry immediately stood out. Everything felt thoughtfully curated, and you could tell a lot of care goes into their selections. Most recently, after their move to Hackensack, we ordered a charcuterie wreath, and it was absolutely stunning. The presentation was beautiful, but the quality and flavor truly made it memorable. And unfortunately, because of the chaos of event planning at home no picture was taken to capture it. The way it was devoured... we honestly have no words. Everything was gone within minutes, which says it all. From the visual detail to the taste, every element felt intentionally and beautifully put together. Highly recommend for gatherings, holidays, or anytime you want to impress guests with something that looks incredible and tastes just as good. Shortly after that, I think I went to an event and they actually use plated ideal also and I was so happy that they were well-versed with a local business they had an array of options tea sandwiches and bites that gave me ideas for my future next orders. read more

I can't say enough good things about PlatedbyD! I ordered a charcuterie board for a little girls night at my house and boy was it a crowd pleaser! First of all, it was beautiful. Almost too beautiful to eat....emphasis on almost because my friends and I literally devoured this board. Does the D stand for devoured? I was able to pick 4 meats and 4 cheeses. There was also a plethora of fruits, nuts, crackers, olives, etc. Literally something for everyone. The ordering and pickup process was extreme efficient and they were very friendly and responsive. The quality of the items was top notch and they were not stingy with the portions! I will definitely be ordering again for any future parties or events. read more

Superb quality. Delicious tasting. Absolutely gorgeous. The hit of the party. I ordered the charcuterie board for 10 - 12 people on Thanksgiving and it was almost too good looking to eat. Almost. It was just a ton of great food and the presentation was stunning. Fresh, beautiful fruit. So many great quality cheeses. Crackers, olives, delicious meats, and just a ton of goodies. Great fun trying a bit of everything. Asked for nut free board due to allergy and the request was accommodated with no issues. Easy to pick up at the Riverside Mall. Looking for any excuse to order again. Highly recommend. Thanks again!!! read more

Recently hosted a party for my daughter's graduation and was recommended by a friend. Firstly, the presentation was incredible. The assortment of cheeses, cured meats, flowered with artisan breads and a variety of olives were positioned perfectly across the charcuterie board. You can see the proprietorship take pride and care in these incredible arraignments and freshness. Next family event will be catered by Plated By D for my family. read more

Ordered a charcuterie board at the last minute for friends at a small funeral gathering. Not even thinking of Valentine's Day and how busy they must be, Alexi got my request and within a short period of time processed a fabulous order with ease and expertise - so lovely to deal with! Our friends just sent a picture of the board and it is absolutely beautiful. I am sure the cheeses and many accouterments will be delicious within this work of art. I wish we lived near Lodi!! I highly recommend. Thank you Alexi and Dylan. Please, if you are reading this, consider supporting this wonderful small business! I had the pleasure of visiting Plated by D in March to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a memorable experience. I attended a special cheese board and cocktail-making class hosted by Platedby D and her wonderful staff, which happened to align perfectly with my birthday. The class was incredibly engaging and enjoyable. I learned how to assemble a beautiful cheese board for any future gatherings I host--though I admit I still need a bit more practice! The cocktail portion was equally fun, and the overall atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Another great perk was being able to purchase additional items while attending the class, which added to the experience. Overall, I highly recommend Platedby D, whether for a class or simply to shop. It's definitely worth a visit and delicious as well! read more

So here is my review: FOOD WAS AMAZING...THE BEST FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN. No exaggeration. Many people asked me for their card during and after the event because it was so super delicious. SERVICE WAS AMAZING...All of my questions were answered in a professional and timely manner, and not only were they answered, Kristina who helps to book the events was so helpful - when I wasn't sure of something or she thought I wasn't doing the best thing for my event, she steered me in the right direction, with kindness and caring. My phone calls and emails were answered right away, whether during the week or on a Sat night or a Sun morning. COST...Very reasonable. And now that I know how the service and the quality of the food is, I would hire them even if their cost was higher than the others, but it's not. The owners is readily available to answer any questions you have, and his associate, Kristina, is also readily available and very nice and takes the time to understand what type of event you are having and guides you in the right direction with anything you're unsure of.
