When I walked in, the line was totally manageable... but within minutes it wrapped up behind me! They have tons of options, but I kept it simple with an iced Americano and a splash of half & half and it was sooo good. Strong though! If I could handle more caffeine, I would've grabbed a second cup just to try something else. It's busy because they also serve breakfast and food. There's indoor + outdoor seating, a few parking spots out front, and a small paid lot down the street. I was in and out, so it was easy for me. The vibe? Lively, a little noisy, but still cozy and homey. They also sell cute merch and coffee beans to bring home! I'd definitely come back to try the food next time

They also sell Macy merchandise and whole roasted coffee beans from around the world. We ordered a latte and an Americano to go. My wife was blown away by their Americano. She said it was the best she tasted. She said it's the first Americano she sipped that had a crema feel. My latte was good also. I asked the barista what bean they used and it was their espresso beans! So I purchased a bag. We went there the next morning and duplicated our order. We ordered our coffees to drink in-house and they poured them into their house cups. They were nice and hot. The guy next to us was eating biscuits and gravy and it looked good! I was tempted, but I noticed on the menu the gravy was vegan. I didn't want to take a chance. I shouldn't have allowed that to dissuade me, but I did! I'm finicky when it comes to my B&G!

The parking out front is limited but we lucked out and found a close spot. The inside is pretty small but I'd imagine is still a great working space. The cashier was super friendly and even offered a military discount on my order which was amazing. I opted for their Samoa latte and a cinnamon roll to go. Both were great! The cinnamon was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the latte was very well balanced. A solid 10/10 pitstop imo.

Guys guys guys... (Owners mayhaps) They don't sell DRIP…read morecoffee. Just like. A black coffee.... They are unable to drip. At a coffee shop. They WILL sell you a SEVEN DOLLAR POUR OVER though. Or you can get an Americano- which is not a drip coffee despite the barista's suggestion. Also- it only comes as a 16 oz. If you say 'hey- that's too much coffee, can you give me a smaller one?' They'll say no, that's their 'recipe' (the most pretentious explanation for literally POURING water over coffee beans) and suggest that YOU just dump some out. No but see, I want oat milk and cinnamon in my $7 drip coffee so if I need some poured out and the perfect ratio with the milk then I'd probably not be the one to do it unless I can come behind the counter & also adjust my milk? $16.15 for a small oatmilk latte and a pour over. They'll also tell you that it'll take longer for your pour over, you'll say "hey maybe just nevermind the whole thing." To which they'll struggle to not glare at you. So you say oh no worries of course I'll wait more than the standard ten minutes. And finally- they don't even make their own syrups. To charge $7.50 for a latte and not make your own syrup is criminal. There's way too many actually good (and fast) coffee shops in flag for this. I'll be at Foxtail thanks!

My boyfriend ordered the hot London Fog and really enjoyed it. I can't remember the exact name of my drink - something like Orange Dream - but it was delicious as well. You can actually taste the tea, and it doesn't taste artificial at all. Super good. There's plenty of seating inside, which makes it a great place to hang out. The only downside is parking - finding a spot in Flagstaff can be tricky, and most of the parking in the area is paid. That said, it wasn't too busy when we went around 8am. Definitely recommend!

Also no (they do have tea lattes) Hot chocolate? Technically yes... but even that comes with Earl Grey tea inside. These folks are deeply, passionately committed to one thing: dried leaves steeped in hot water. And honestly, they do it well. If you're a tea lover, this place is your Disneyland. The selection is impressive, the vibe is relaxed, and the people behind the counter clearly care about what they're doing. There's a real enthusiasm here for the craft of tea, and that kind of passion is always fun to see. That said, my one issue was a pretty important one on a cold Flagstaff day... My tea showed up lukewarm. Now normally I'm a pretty forgiving person... but when it's 40 degrees outside and tea is the entire business model, this feels like a pretty big detail. When tea is the whole menu, temperature isn't a detail... it's the headliner. I like the concept. I respect the passion. It's just a bit limiting for my taste, and the execution missed slightly on the most important note. Three stars. A cool idea... that just needed to be a little hotter.

I've eaten here countless times and I'm never disappointed. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. Their waffles are incredible as are their burritos, skillets, tostadas, and gorditas. Breakfast always comes with a side of whole beans (flavored with ham hock) which are super fresh. I can truly say there's nothing bad on this menu! The staff is always super welcoming and friendly and the ambiance is refreshing. It's a smaller space and it does get pretty busy, so be aware of that. The best part is that the cafe is family owned, with roots in Playa del Carmen, MX. I HIGHLY recommend Madrez if you're looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican brunch spot. Support local!

My partner and I ordered a chorizo burrito, a skillet poblano, and a plain waffle. While everything was just okay, it honestly felt like something we could have made better at home. I especially wouldn't recommend the waffles -- they were very airy, almost like toast, and at $14 they just didn't feel worth it. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it's not somewhere I'd return to.

There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is especially impressive. They have what looked like a private dining space inside a barn-style shed, several gas fire pits, and even a slightly elevated platform that looked perfect for live music. Ordering is simple -- you place both food and drink orders at the counter, then they bring everything out to your table. Even though the place was busy, the food came out fast and piping hot. The food itself was outstanding. I ordered the chicken and biscuits and my wife got the chilaquiles. Both portions were huge. The chicken and biscuits were exactly what I was hoping for: smothered in rich country gravy with a perfectly fried flattened chicken breast that was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The buttermilk biscuit was golden, flaky, buttery, and had the perfect balance of soft interior and crisp edges. I honestly got full halfway through my plate and never even got a chance to try the wife's chilaquiles. The drip coffee was excellent too -- simple, hot, and exactly what good breakfast coffee should be. There's street parking along with a small parking lot across the street. Easily one of the best breakfast spots we've been to.

We had placed our orders inside and were sent away with a number on a stand for our table. The gal that waited on us was very patient and uber-friendly taking our orders - luckily there was no one behind us and she took the time to answer all of our questions. I feel like we'd only been seated just a hot second when the food arrived! Fabulous service - quick and friendly and always with a smile. Hubby and I each got a cup of fresh brewed coffee that did not disappoint! Not too weak, not too strong... brewed to perfection! My husband ordered the chicken and biscuit and I the chilaquiles Christmas style. Lord have mercy both of these dishes were the bomb! Not only plenty of food but super tasty - I had my chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and they also came with about 1/2 a freshly sliced avocado. Nice, tangy flavor and sprinkled with just the right amount of cotija cheese! Shared with the table and still had leftovers (and I'm not mad about it). Husband's dish was perfection - the perfect biscuit combo - fluffy, chewy and crunchy in all the right places, and the gravy not overly seasoned or salty. Chicken was a breaded/fried (possibly baked) and cooked/seasoned just right. Inner meat was tender and moist and outside of course was crunchy - batter was well seasoned and breast didn't seem greasy at all. I worked in a mom-and-pop coffee shop decades ago - everything was homemade and fresh and the coffee 2 die 4. This establishment brought me back to those times in regard to coffee/food quality and hospitality! Will 100p be returning when next we're in town!
