I came in last week for a quick and hopefully healthy breakfast. There were two women working and they absolutely wonderful. I have never been to one of these places and the ladies explained some of the items I was interested in. My smoothie was ready in almost no time. I really like how they have 32 oz and even larger smoothie sizes. Prices are comparable to that other smoothie chain. All in all this is a good spot and I would come back.

Workers were sitting at this table when customers walked in. Apparently they are sick AND doing their nails?!

No customer service. Smoothie taste is consistent with brand though (they follow a recipe so this shouldn't be an issue). Also, the lady who is always working here (never smiles). Also works while sick. Customers walk into her and assistant sitting at the table hovered over Vics, cough drops, tissues, TheraFlu.

First thing I noticed when I walked in was how spotless the seating area was and how crisp the Wall decor was as well. Nice easy to read menu board, lots of choices that sound absolutely delicious! I asked if every smoothie was made with yogurt (seemed that way from looking at the menu online) the guy behind the counter said no but didn't expand on much else other than I could swap it out if I wanted. I ordered an Amazon Kick, acai blueberries strawberries and bananas, small, $6.49 plus tax. I can't tell you which flavor came thru the most, but I can tell you it was very sweet. (I had forgotten to specify no sugar, but they also didn't ask? So maybe their smoothie base is already sweetened) I hope I get to try some more flavors soon!

My favorite smoothie place of life is Smoothie King and I feel that Planet Smoothie is comparable in price, size, and flavor.

We stopped here since it was one of the closest spots to the golf course, but I was pretty disappointed. The biggest issue is that it is not actually a bowl, it is served in a cup. It makes it really difficult to enjoy all the toppings together since you can only eat one layer at a time, which defeats the purpose. The granola portion was also lacking, and you do not get to choose the amount. The ingredients themselves tasted good, but the execution made the whole experience underwhelming. On top of that, there was only one employee running everything during a busy Sunday around noon. I felt bad for her, but it did slow things down a lot. We had to wait while she made multiple orders before even being able to place ours, with a line forming behind us. I understand if it was a slower weekday, but during a peak time it just did not seem set up for success. I honestly wish I had not brought our cousins here for their first acai experience.

Came to Oakberry excited to try something new. The aesthetics and ambiance in the restaurant are…read morevery nice with their wide windows and wood toned seating. The design inside is minimalist and is definitely a place you could easily sit and relax in. We got the Tiger bowl which is an acai bowl with granola, double strawberry, peanut butter and protein and decided to add bananas which in theory sounds delicious. It comes in a smoothie cup for some reason which makes the amount of toppings you get much less than when you get bowls in other stores and it's filled to the top which also sounds great but awful considering the "bowl" comes layered so if you want to try the layers together it gets messy quite quickly. Once we got to the protein layer, we quickly found out it was raw protein powder. Just a layer of protein powder in the middle of the "bowl" is insane and takes up quite a bit of the space so you're getting less of everything else for something that could easily have just been mixed in from the beginning. After getting to the protein powder layer, it quickly ruins the rest of the layers as the powder doesn't mix well and clumps up everything and makes it gritty and close to inedible. And all in all, the "bowl" came out to around $23 before tip. Whilst normally I'm understanding of places having bad days, open to trying other things even after having a poor experience once and some menu items just not being for me, I would personally never want to return.
