I came in last week for a quick and hopefully healthy breakfast. There were two women working and they absolutely wonderful. I have never been to one of these places and the ladies explained some of the items I was interested in. My smoothie was ready in almost no time. I've been on a weight-loss journey for a few months now and have been a customer at many planet smoothies. This particular location will never get my money again. I placed an order on the app at 7 AM when the store opened for a pick up ASAP. I went to the store on my break and was told that he did not have my order and he couldn't give it to me because he didn't see it yet. He kept asking if the product was available online I told him yes and showed him my phone with the paid receipt. He still would not give me the smoothie so I had to go back to work without any breakfast. I went back after work to ask to have the order canceled. The lady who was there in the afternoon, didn't to cancel the order and made the smoothie anyway even though I didn't want it. She told me it takes 30 minutes from ordering on the app to having the drink done in store. That has not been my experience at any other planet smoothie. They were not apologetic and they should have refunded the drink for the inconvenience and given me a free one whenever I wanted it. But they did not put the customer first and they will not get my business anymore. First thing I noticed when I walked in was how spotless the seating area was and how crisp the Wall decor was as well. Nice easy to read menu board, lots of choices that sound absolutely delicious! I asked if every smoothie was made with yogurt (seemed that way from looking at the menu online) the guy behind the counter said no but didn't expand on much else other than I could swap it out if I wanted. I ordered an Amazon Kick, acai blueberries strawberries and bananas, small, $6.49 plus tax. I can't tell you which flavor came thru the most, but I can tell you it was very sweet. It's ridiculous when people try to get over on you. I ask for a light smoothie to split for my two boys and an extra cup. Keep in mind every other Planet smoothie I go to has kid sizes. This location is 2 minutes from us and we always stop by when we're having a smoothie craving. Stopped by recently since my husband just had wisdom teeth surgery and is limited in what he can eat and drink. We always have pleasant and quick service here so I have no complaints. And they always take the coupons we have with no hassles. I always stick with the twig and berries(banana and strawberries) since I'm more of a minimalist and don't like all the extra stuff that the other smoothies offer. Parking used to be a hassle when Starbucks was next door but now that they have closed and moved across the street, there is more than enough parking. So that's an added bonus. read more

I come here pretty often for a smoothie in the morning. The owners are usually the ones there when I come in, and they are always friendly and helpful. The only issue I have is that the quality is inconsistent. When I first started coming in a few months ago, the smoothies were always excellent. Over time, though, I've received smoothies that are not well-blended (i.e. peanut butter coming up through the straw toward the bottom of the cup), or that simply don't taste right at all. If they could be more consistent, I'd likely come here more. Also, a tip: If you check in on Yelp, you get a dollar off! I get the impression the owners forgot about this since they seemed awfully surprised when I brought it up last week, but enjoy it while it lasts! read more

I hadn't been to a Planet Smoothie in some time, mostly because I don't like that they tend to use fruit syrups versus real fruit in most of their smoothies. But on my lunch break one day I was running errands and needed something quick. The woman at the register took my order then passed it off to another girl who looked very frazzled. The woman who took my order seemed to either be the owner or the manager and she was staffed with a lot of younger looking girls who seemed to not be trained as to how to handle orders. My smoothie was spilling over and the cashier woman snatched it from the counter, re-mixed it and put it in a cup and shoved it at me. Later on in the day I started feeling very sick, having migraines and getting hives. Something that only happens to me when I eat food with artificial sweeteners. Looking on the website I noticed that Planet Smoothie uses two sweeteners, stevia and agave. Being as agave is much more expensive, I assumed they used the stevia in my smoothie, which I am allergic to. The chain does not list this on their menus in the store. I spent the rest of my evening with an ice pack on my head, liquid benadryl, and taking Excedrin Migraine to feel up to work the next day. Overall there was poor service on the staff's part, and poor information on the chain's part to tell customers what is in the smoothies and notify them of potential allergens. I'll stick to Smoothie King, Whole Foods and Tropical Smoothie from now on. read more

I was dying for a smoothie this morning! Drove all the way to tropical smoothie only to find out they were closed. Planet Smoothie was the only option left close to me. I ordered the Crazy Bee. Strawberries, mango, honey, and a multivitamin boost. It was delicious!! My favorite smoothie place of life is Smoothie King and I feel that Planet Smoothie is comparable in price, size, and flavor. I do think SK offers more variety but Planet Smoothie is still good. My only complaint with Planet Smoothie is the price. I paid $14 for 2 smoothies this morning and this afternoon for a full course meal I paid the same. I think they need to work on their prices as does SK. read more

The few times that I've been to Planet Smoothie it's usually empty not a bad thing if like me you have many questions. I don't like added sugars so I ordered a plain Vinnie. Every time I am at this location, the manager/owner (mean Asian lady) is completely rude. I am almost at the point of boycotting Planet Smoothie from the experiences I have had here to be honest. Not only does the manager treat their employees terrible in front of customers, she's denies coupons multiple times. For the past two years, she has refused my birthday coupon. After this last experience, I am fuming and will continue to spread the word and post where I can about this location. Every Planet Smoothie I've been to is pretty consistent. Menu items are added here and there and I can't imagine anyone could go to this place and not find something they would like. This specific location is just okay.... always consistent and good quality wise for the smoothie but the service is crap. Sharon was there to serve us a with a smile and did not rush us while we were making our smoothie choices. She also made a sample for my roommate to try. She advised us to sign up for coupons and she even let us use them while we were there instead of us having to wait for our next visit. I love that they have their ingredient list of every drink they offer along with the nutritional value available to you. My best friend and I donate blood as often as we can and since we are usually just below the threshold for our hemoglobin (iron) we decided to stop by planet smoothie for something rich in vitamins and iron. We ordered the smoothie with the highest iron content and added greens to it and it tasted amazing. Since we checked in on yelp we also received $1 off our smoothie which is always a perk of being a member! The service was great, they had a working relationship of being a family there. Since it is located right across the street from the winter park theater we were going to right after, it was convenient to our location, however it is a little difficult getting to their parking lot and back with the amount of traffic that day. The moronic staff at this subpar franchise ran my credit card (with ample funds) 3 times and told me it was declined. I left to go to my car and call my bank when I noticed that they had in fact charged me 3 times. Upon telling them this and showing proof, they insisted that it was a banking issue on my end, and then followed that same statement with "this happens all the time to our customers." STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! They will do anything to take your money!! The Chinese owner and her family have THE WORST customer service!! They only want your money, they don't care about you unless you tip them!! I have had MULTIPLE problems with this location (not using the full scoop of oatmeal, extra charging for substituting, not filling my smoothie cup all the way). I have given them chances but they never seem to care about my preferences. They simply want your money. I have sent in complaints but management does not seem to care about my opinion. A couple other problems are that I think the son (kind of big Chinese boy) has poor hygiene and I can't stand when he rings me up, I always notice that the AC is low and the employees are sweating, can the management not spend the money to fix the air condition for the sake of the employees?
