Was looking for a western style soap dispenser for a guest bath and this store looked like the type of "general store" that might sell Texas themed items, food, etc. You know the type? Have driven past several times and looked really cool so have wanted to stop in. I'm not really sure how to give the store a proper rating. Um, the staff was really nice so 4 stars. For those of you who don't know...this is not a "novelty" shop - well ironically it is in a way. The Trading Post across the street from Bee Cave Galleria is a "tobacco" shop (i.e., water pipes, etc.) and has an "adult item" section. Not til 12am anymore. Hours end at 10 now 7 days a week. Showed up at 10:35 and they were closed. That's pretty shitty. PK is known to be open til 12 so that change is very unsettling. read more

Same thing as the guy below about the stupid return policy. Had purchased a detox for my brother who is an addict. Of course like most addicts, He basically said no thanks and gave me the unopened, still sealed, bottle back. I tried to return it with the receipt- and they said no. Bought about $200 worth of a variety of products a few days ago including a 2000 g scale. When i bought it the employees told me that they callibrated it for me in the back. After calling up there the guy told me that they checked" it with a 2000 g weight. Someone lied... He also told me to go through the manufacturer which is no big deal. Its my fault for not checking, but this scale was about $100 after tax. Just looked online and they are $12. awesome. read more

The employees were pretty nice however I bought a very simple 2 inch clear chillum which ended up costing $8 when at any other smoke shop a nice designed chillum would've been like $5. Then when I got home I removed the price tag which is still sticky on the glass because it was a cheap price tag, and underneath the price tag is a crack in the glass which was uncoincidentally covered up. read more

This place is the worst !! Last time I was In here I was kicked out for not having an ID (whatever) a guy told me to wait in the front and not talk to my friend I was with who was buying, the lady (heaven I think is her name) proceeds to kick me out of the store because she wanted to even though I followed the mans instructions, "get out" she said. Just came back to try this place again with my ID and she said didn't you leave a yelp review saying I was rude to your friend in front of the whole store right at check out, took my money and left. The last thing you expect to find in a head shop are assholes. But hey, I needed a pipe and was passing through Bee Cave and thought I'd give them some business. I knew something was wrong when I walked in and got one of the most gaseous, heated stares directed at me in recent years from the girl behind the counter. I asked where the glass pipes were located and was motioned wordlessly to an area behind me. Went to look at pipes and compare prices while my wife looked at pierced jewelry. Neither of us received any attention from staff until I asked if one of them could show me some pipes. A guy came over and started helping me when my wife asked if someone would unlock the piercing display, this got a huge sigh from the dude and he walked over to help her leaving me alone at the pipes again...So I asked the girl to help. She silently came over to the pipe display and stood there with the most pissed off look she could muster. By this time I was fed up and asked is there was something wrong. She said no, but that there weren't many people who wore shirts praising the US Military who visit Planet K. I'm an Air Force vet and proud of my career and have a couple of Air Force T-shirts with "US Air Force" printed on the front and the wings logo on the back. I needed the pipe so I just grabbed the cheapest one, paid and left. Man, I don't judge anybody at first glance. It's counter-productive. But, I will never return to this craphole again for as long as I live. And my wife? Dude never got the piercing display opened up for her. Y'all SUCK! read more

I really do love Planet K, been going to various locations for over 20 years. This location, however, has some of the worst customer service I've experienced...anywhere. The people that work here are pretty awful - they're rude as hell and do their best to be unhelpful. Do yourself a favor - go to another location. read more

Staff was friendly and nice getting me started with a vape pen, but it broke one week latter! They wouldn't even exchange it, and tried to upgrade me to a more expensive model. Even stated what I bought was a cheap China product. Pretty miffed they wouldn't even do an even exchange. read more

LOL what a joke. They claimed they put everything in the bag, and after checking our car 5+ times, the girl said "so what do you expect me to do? Mail it?" I said well you can first start by APOLOGIZING for your coworker's mess up and BLAMING ME for his incompetence (they said we should check our car, which we did multiple times, and "claimed" they checked the register for our item". Haha oh so, is your job SO HARD that you can't even check that you bagged our item correctly? Incompetent customer service with ugly/disgusting attitudes - by that girl, who cares what her name is. She doesn't matter - they were not remorseful for getting my item and gave ME attitude for forgetting the item and their mess up. No wonder they work at planet k as their chosen career. Good job, planet k for hiring stoners with zero customer service skills and for treating your customers like crap. I am sure your pothead employees who smoke cigarettes in your store btw, prove to be worth losing the little amount of loyal customers you do have - in our case DID have. Went to planet k in bee cave yesterday since its usually my store of choice for the last several years and bought a grav labs bubbler, I got to chatting with the employee and having a good time, I guess I should have takin a closer look at the water pipe I was buying. Long story short I was excited so I ran a round of pipe tobacco threw my new bubbler and low and behold a small but devastating hole/crack right where the bowl meets the steam : ( Management was at a loss as to what to do for me since it was now used : ( I feel %50 responsible seeing as I should of examined my purchase a little better (and should of filled with water and tested before using with tobacco), on the other hand %50 on planet k for selling bad product and not checking there inventory for damage, customer service could use some work as well. Oh well (in my opinion) over not treating me right over $50 planet k will no longer get my business and I will let others know of my experience. read more

I went to Planet K in BEE cave today to bring an unused product there. I did not know my wife had also been there a day or so earlier to buy me the very same product for me for Christmas, It blew me away that she went to the same store purchased the very same product and then told me that their policy was to not give refunds but I could exchange it for something else but there was nothing I really wanted or needed. they REFUSED TO GIVE ME A CASH REFUND EVEN THOUGH I PAID CASH FOR IT. Therefore I will never go back or recommend them to anyone. very poor policy DONT GO THERE..Even the employees thought it was a bad deal on PLANET K's PART. read more
