Which, frankly is exactly what I want in a liquor store. Easy in and out. The other thing I like about Lakeway Spirits is if you want something on the reg, the family will make sure they get it for you. My wife and I are pretty low maintenance so it's not a big deal. But the owner did mention it when I spoke to him.(Which I thought was kind). Competing with the big boys in the liquor business in Lakeway Texas is a giant task for a family run business. It's a family run business, which is awesome, and to be honest it seems like Lakeway is turning into a Franchise Freak Show. I'm giving Lakeway Spirits family run business a 5 star review because I got what I needed, fast at a reasonable price.

Regardless, you can't go wrong with this local chain. I used to frequent another location in town closer to campus, but in Lakeway this weekend, I spotted my once preferred liquor store ... I also spotted a Spec's. But hey, when in Austin ... It wasn't too busy for a Saturday, so we were greeted and led to what we were in search of: Don Julio. The team was fast, courteous and their wine selection had me browsing around for a few minutes or so. "Damn, guess I might as well try this Malbec." So I snagged a few bottles. I guess you could say that I like Twin Liquors so much, that I visited it twice this weekend ... different location, of course. Didn't want them to think I was the neighborhood drunk.

I guess there's enough of a boozy body demand to support both stores staying open. Good for them! This locale is a medium sized store, fully packed with a large selection of wines, liquors, and beer (including good selection of local craft). The staff are always very nice and knowledgeable. Also, I find Twin Liquors generally has comparable prices as the popular ATX "bunny" stores - at least on the items I typically stock in my home bar and garage beer fridge. Overall: Not the biggest TL, but they most likely will have what you want. Bright and shiny new, very clean. Plentiful parking so very convenient to run into before shopping at Lakeway's mega HEB...or not. Cheers!

Which is great to try new products before you buy. Store is very clean and organized. Shelves are stocked well and neatly. They do have a section of cheese and meats, chips and other snack foods. My cashier was nice. As I checked out he suggested I keep the pies level as they tend to leak a little. They are wrapped well with plastic wrap in a box, but be safe than sorry. Happy I stopped by and got my pies before they sell out.

I go there for prices but being a consistent customer at the Bee Cave location and becoming "friends" has maybe made the employees, mgr to associates, assume that I'm not important enough for them to not go and check for product in the "back". Wrapping it up: they had my product for 2 months "in the back"! Robin, one of the store managers went back and found many of the products I was in search for...! I'm not sure who's responsible but I was also told to call Coca Cola as they were there distributing company for the product that I repeatedly asked for... Again the frontline employees were and have been very nice over the years. And on my way back I also found that they had samples of Kentucky liquor. It was phenomenal. The taste of this bourbon was out of this world. The lady that was serving the samples was very nice and knew her product very well. I was very impressed with the fact that she knew how to make and mix these with certain mixers. She taught me a lot while I was there speaking with her and learning. I was humbled by how gracious she was at making these mixers and giving me samples. I don't see that very often in liquor stores. After learning about this I decided that my next trip would definitely be buying the Kentucky liquor's. The store is very well maintained and all of the bottles were so beautifully placed on the shelves. Not only that but the displays were absolutely beautiful. As you will see in my pictures you will see how pretty everything looks and arranged nicely. Definitely I will be coming next week to purchase some of the liquors that I have seen. So before I do that I have to ask my guest if they prefer certain liquors and their preference. So this is one of my stores that I love to shop again. They focused on recommending good tasting and reasonably-priced items that they could guarantee would be available for our wedding. When trying out Sprouts, they kept recommending options, but could not guarantee it would be available as our wedding got closer. Twin Liquors even allowed us to get the bulk discount on the a number of the single bottle of wine that we wanted to taste before making our final selections. Delivery to the venue went very smoothly and was included in the cost. I'm not sure if this is typical, but I know they have a relationship with our wedding venue (Hamilton Twelve).

We used Cool Liquor for a company outing this week and they couldn't have been more helpful. I called just to order a margarita machine, a keg, and some other liquor and spoke with Suzie who was so helpful - then she asked if I needed snacks, I informed her that I was going to go buy snacks and stuff for burgers. She told me that they do that as well! NOt only did she provide the booze, but they provided premade and pre-seasoned patties for burgers, hot dogs and ALL the fixings. They had everything we needed and then some for the food and drinks. It made my life so much easier and really made the event that much more fun!! They even provided extra games, tables, and floats - it was perfect! I am so grateful to Suzie and her team - our event was a success and we couldn't have done it without Cool Liquours!
