By far the best liquor store in tx!! I called them to ask if the had Taylor Port and the nice gentleman said he didn't think he had it. Not 3min later he called my phone back to tell me he had it. Not in the history of history has anyone ever called me back to tell me they found something I was looking for. An amazing selection of beer, wine, liquor and snacks. I adore this family and their business and always stop to grab goodies when going to my friends house. It's easy to drive up to, no need to get out. 10/10 recommend read more

HIGHWAY ROBBERY! We've been to this place a couple times and we always drove away thinking we were overcharged, but it was hard to tell because we would get a lot of different things and they DO NOT provide itemized receipts. YESTERDAY I went and got one bottle of tequila and one bottle of Bacardi rum. My total was $66. I don't purchase a lot of liquor (I'm a wine gal) so I'm ignorant to the prices. I asked my girlfriends who purchase liquor regularly if that was a reasonable price and they both told me I was definitely overcharged. I did some digging online (see photos) and the internet verified I was, in fact, overcharged. Although this place is convenient, I will definitely not be returning. read more

Seriously, who doesn't love a good "beer barn?" And this one sells a full range of liquors and some wines too. Beer prices are about the same as anywhere else; however, liquor prices are a few dollars more. Worth the $ as the closet stores that sell liquor are 10+ miles away going either direction on 620. Cool Liquors (yup, plural is their name) also rents and delivers margarita machines and kegs for parties! Super cool! AND, they sell and deliver firewood! I do have a fireplace, as well as a beer fridge in the garage and a liquor cabinet, so I guess this is a bonus. Overall, a great convenience! They even have assorted snacks (think chips, nuts, jerky, etc.) if you get a rumble in your tummy while you're there. One stop shopping and you don't even have to get out of the car! Do I sound lazy enough yet? Oh, and all the people that work there are really nice. Locally owned & operated. Please support local businesses. That was my PSM of the day. I don't understand the low ratings and bad reviews of this place because my experience was just the opposite. We used Cool Liquor for a company outing this week and they couldn't have been more helpful. I called just to order a margarita machine, a keg, and some other liquor and spoke with Suzie who was so helpful - then she asked if I needed snacks, I informed her that I was going to go buy snacks and stuff for burgers. She told me that they do that as well! NOt only did she provide the booze, but they provided premade and pre-seasoned patties for burgers, hot dogs and ALL the fixings. They had everything we needed and then some for the food and drinks. It made my life so much easier and really made the event that much more fun!! They even provided extra games, tables, and floats - it was perfect! I am so grateful to Suzie and her team - our event was a success and we couldn't have done it without Cool Liquours! This is a drive through place, which I honestly assumed was a place where they prep drinks for you, like in Houston, TX for example. I got a piña colada and I thought maybe this will make up for the unpleasant place. NO! I was wrong. I got a Frozen captain Morgan's piña colada bag drink that you can buy at Walmart for way cheaper. And honestly they don't have that much liquor in them. I wish I took pics. Of the prices. If not mistaken a 6 pack was about $10 of something that would normally cost $5-6. read more

Cool spot - but no longer our Go To for kegs...after 10+ years! Prices are not posted and they now charge a tap & can rental fee of $36 + tax (per keg) - this is not a refundable deposit, but a fee. The staff is not particularly friendly for folks in the business of fun. read more

The man that was working around 10:30 December 4th was very rude, could've been polite , won't revisit this place

Came up here to make a purchase from the vape shop, which is in the same parking lot, and while I was waiting for the guy to bring me my stuff, I had let my dog out to use bathroom, and Cool Liquor had a dog that was out (without a collar or anything) and came up to say hi to my dog, or so I thought. They sniffed each other then out of nowhere, this dog started just attacking my dog when mine was doing absolutely nothing but sniffing the other dog back. Could barely get their dog off mine, and when I called for help all she had to say was that it was a guard dog and she has signs ALL over which I even looked at one of her main buildings that was in plain few and saw no sign at all. It was supposedly on the "drive thru" or whatever she calls it. She kept asking me why I didn't have my dog in the car, over and over again but dude I was letting my dog go pee, and I wasn't even trying to go to your business. You're lucky I don't sue your ass for not having more signs, and even more for NOT having a collar OR ANYTHING ELSE TO IDENTIFY YOUR DOG. I am all scratched up on my legs and very shaken up. WILL NEVER EVER THINK ABOUT COMING TO YOUR BUSINESS FOR THIS REASON ONLY. read more

Not even 1 star. More like a -1. They had a beautiful dog that had better customer service than them. They were seriously rudely dodging our service!! "You take them, no you take them". Therefore, we only bought two items because we were considerate of their time. But...Not worth our money! I rather drive to a nearby HEB, Walmart, or corner store. Beware! This place is not nearly the place it used to be! RUDE! UNTRUSTWORTHY! OVERCHARGES their customers! A simple CO2 tank exchange that costs less than $20, and she is charging her customers $50 and then has the audacity to give major attitude when we did not agree and left there. Sarcastic comments trailed us upon departure. We promptly exchanged the CO2 tank the very same day for $16.24! She would have charged us $75 total!! (This all is in reference to the bitter ex-wife now running this joint. Her ex-husband knew how to treat customers) I would never trust this place and, again, BEWARE if you disagree with her. She will surely give you more attitude and negativity than you could imagine. Unfortunately I had to come here for convenience and I will not return. I paid 40 dollars for a large bottle of New Amsterdam vodka. Typically I spend 18 to 23 dollars at other stores. It definitely is not a premium liquor. Last week I paid 38 dollars for a small bottle of New Amsterdam gin and a large bottle of Deep Eddy flavored vodka at twin liquors. I would rather carry a 2 year old through another liquor store than spend double the price here. read more
