Regardless, you can't go wrong with this local chain. I used to frequent another location in town closer to campus, but in Lakeway this weekend, I spotted my once preferred liquor store ... I also spotted a Spec's. But hey, when in Austin ... It wasn't too busy for a Saturday, so we were greeted and led to what we were in search of: Don Julio. The team was fast, courteous and their wine selection had me browsing around for a few minutes or so. "Damn, guess I might as well try this Malbec." So I snagged a few bottles. I guess you could say that I like Twin Liquors so much, that I visited it twice this weekend ... different location, of course. Didn't want them to think I was the neighborhood drunk.

New(ish) store located in a corner suite of Oaks at Lakeway Center. The same proprietors as TL…read morelocated just across 620 next to Randalls, so you will see same employees in both places. I guess there's enough of a boozy body demand to support both stores staying open. Good for them! This locale is a medium sized store, fully packed with a large selection of wines, liquors, and beer (including good selection of local craft). The staff are always very nice and knowledgeable. Also, I find Twin Liquors generally has comparable prices as the popular ATX "bunny" stores - at least on the items I typically stock in my home bar and garage beer fridge. Overall: Not the biggest TL, but they most likely will have what you want. Bright and shiny new, very clean. Plentiful parking so very convenient to run into before shopping at Lakeway's mega HEB...or not. Cheers!

Which is great to try new products before you buy. Store is very clean and organized. Shelves are stocked well and neatly. They do have a section of cheese and meats, chips and other snack foods. My cashier was nice. As I checked out he suggested I keep the pies level as they tend to leak a little. They are wrapped well with plastic wrap in a box, but be safe than sorry. Happy I stopped by and got my pies before they sell out.

I live and shop in the Bee Cave location as my go to for all of our spirits and accompanying needs. I go there for prices but being a consistent customer at the Bee Cave location and becoming "friends" has maybe made the employees, mgr to associates, assume that I'm not important enough for them to not go and check for product in the "back". Wrapping it up: they had my product for 2 months "in the back"! Robin, one of the store managers went back and found many of the products I was in search for...! Product was there all along per Robin... I review this not to hurt anyone of the employees in fact they are all very nice. I'm not sure who's responsible but I was also told to call Coca Cola as they were there distributing company for the product that I repeatedly asked for... Again the frontline employees were and have been very nice over the years. I can't place blame but the manager who is rarely visible and couldn't tell you his name but can definitely tell you he's the one I was told to call "Coke". And on my way back I also found that they had samples of Kentucky liquor. It was phenomenal. The taste of this bourbon was out of this world. The lady that was serving the samples was very nice and knew her product very well. I was very impressed with the fact that she knew how to make and mix these with certain mixers. She taught me a lot while I was there speaking with her and learning. I was humbled by how gracious she was at making these mixers and giving me samples. I don't see that very often in liquor stores. After learning about this I decided that my next trip would definitely be buying the Kentucky liquor's. The store is very well maintained and all of the bottles were so beautifully placed on the shelves. Not only that but the displays were absolutely beautiful. As you will see in my pictures you will see how pretty everything looks and arranged nicely. Definitely I will be coming next week to purchase some of the liquors that I have seen. So before I do that I have to ask my guest if they prefer certain liquors and their preference. So this is one of my stores that I love to shop again. It could be a little easier to get to, and they could have some cheese and snack selections, but their prices and liquor selection can't be beat. I do prefer to go to Twin Liquor over Spec's. This store is unfortunately like a ghost town though. It might be that you have to drive pretty far off the road and through the parking lot to get to it, and that Spec's is barely off the road, and the old, small Twin is still open next to HEB. I like that one too for convenience. Corner Creek bourbon is only available at Twin Liquor and totally worth it.
