I've come here several times now. It's close to where I work. I can swing in pretty quickly and out again. Really liking the Willie Nelson's THC drinks. I bought the 4 pack small cans of 5%THC. The flavor is black cherry, I love it. A nice little high. The shelf said $19.99 for a 4-pack but it actually was on sale for $17 and some change. Love shopping for good wine. So I stopped at Total Wine, for fine wine. I found a couple of bottles that I thought I would enjoy with my meals. And on my way back I also found that they had samples of Kentucky liquor. It was phenomenal. The taste of this bourbon was out of this world. The lady that was serving the samples was very nice and knew her product very well. I was very impressed with the fact that she knew how to make and mix these with certain mixers. She taught me a lot while I was there speaking with her and learning. I was humbled by how gracious she was at making these mixers and giving me samples. I don't see that very often in liquor stores. After learning about this I decided that my next trip would definitely be buying the Kentucky liquor's. The store is very well maintained and all of the bottles were so beautifully placed on the shelves. Not only that but the displays were absolutely beautiful. As you will see in my pictures you will see how pretty everything looks and arranged nicely. Definitely I will be coming next week to purchase some of the liquors that I have seen. So before I do that I have to ask my guest if they prefer certain liquors and their preference. So this is one of my stores that I love to shop again. BEST customer service of any TW&M I've EVER been to! Other locations typically employ knowledgeable people; however, a lot lack in personality. Always seem to be in a rush and have never seemed eager to please. But, I still love TW&M's great selection of all things booze, especially the local craft beer choices. I just thought this tore needed a more scream "I love you" from a roof top kind of admiration. Lol. I was so happy to see TW&M Bee Cave location had Empress 1908 Gin in stock. Otherwise, if ordered elsewhere online, I was going to have to pay ~$20 in S&H. I placed and paid for my order online, decided to add some seasonal beer and summery cider. I picked it up at the designated date and time, curbside no contact, they placed contents directly into my cargo area. It wasn't until the next day when I went to unload the goods that I realized the Empress 1908 was not in the bag even though it was on the invoice. Called the store directly and was placed on a very brief hold after being transferred to the appropriate person (I wish I could remember the gentleman's name - merp). Said person was so nice, apologized, and told me he wanted to right the wrong. "I can bring it straight to you if you like?" Um...yes please! Wow! Really! In less than 30 minutes he rang my bell, checked ID, and delivered a bag...a bag that included a box of two TW&M glasses. What a nice gesture and surprise! It really is the little things, especially right now. Thank you sir for putting a smile on my face and restoring my doubts in above and beyond, stellar customer service. Cheers! read more

This is a review of a class at the location. I was recently invited to attend a class on Italian wines with a small group. Tip to Toe was the name of the class. What an utter disappointment this was. First, if you call it from tip to toe, then start that way and logically migrate southward. Next, the instructor literally could not pronounce the names of many of the wines and grapes. The moment he mispronounced Sangiovese he lost all credibility with us. He simply read from the screen and some typed up notes. No real class engagement. No real Knowledge. Frankly, I could have stepped up to talk about the various intricacies of the regions in more detail and a more engaging way than this staffer did. In the end, this class appeared to be what it really was....an attempt to sell wine. We won't be joining any of these classes in the future. read more

Wow there's only 2 reviews here?? We love Total Wine compared to others in the area such as Specs or Twin Liquors! Not only does Total Wine have a HUGE selection of wine, liquor and beer, everyone working there is super friendly and very helpful. As we love whiskey, bourbon and scotch, we've been introduced to all sorts of great tasting liquor thanks to Greg V. Anything he recommends to us whenever we see him (about every week), we'll just say OK because we know it's going to be good. Sometimes I may want something very peaty and other times something more flavorful with more spices and Greg always knows just the right brand/bottle for us. This place is A+ and Greg is awesome; make sure you find him if you're looking to try new scotch, whiskey or bourbon. read more

Tons of wines, mixers and everything else. They are a bit short on groceries so you might miss some fresh items (limes). But if you're looking for your wine and spirits and a cheese plate, they have you covered. Super knowledgeable staff gave some suggestions when I was looking for a particularly funky rum. I wanted Lemon Hart 151 which we found, and the staff suggested Smith&Cross or some other good finds if I wanted something smoother. This is totally valid and true, but I happened to be making a 151 Swizzle so I knew what I wanted. Still good to know they're on their game. read more

The staff in this store is incredibly rude. They run away , literally, after 2 questions. I make extracts so I need to know their opinions and flavor notes of different alcohols. I asked the Manager Matt a question, he offered me to try a new Cinnamon roll spirit then when I asked another question he had to run to the front and never came back. Then another employee suggested I speak with Jamie. I wish I didn't because again ask one question to her , she offers a taste of a potato vodka , then try and ask a second question , nope, she has to run to another person and never came back. I am very patient, they could of helped 10 customers and then came back to me , no problem, but they never do. I walked to the front of the store and Matt and Jamie are just chatting with eachother. I put the 4 bottles in my cart back on the shelf and only purchased the one I needed for an extract that night. I told them this store will now be my very last resort. Every other liquor store price matches so it doesn't even matter if they are the cheapest. Another person mentioned how they just blow you off and it is very true.
