Nice little cigar stop tucked away in the Cedar Park Railyard. Good selection of quality cigars, knowledgeable service, and very convenient location. Don't expect the huge selection of cigars and accessories that you would find at larger cigar shops but the Depot packs a lot of good quality cigars into their walk in humidor. read more

The first time I stopped I this shop we were "helped" by someone that didn't seem to care at all . This time we were helped by a super helpful nice rep that guided us to selecting several cigars that were right up our alley. Complete turn around that we truly appreciate. They were just as nice to my wife as they were to me and they helped us pick some cigars that were down right awesome. We really appreciated the help and ended up spending $40+ on some great sticks. I highly recommend this shop but encourage anyone visiting to grab some drinks before arriving to ensure they get what they deserve. I came in from Dallas for the weekend and found this shop online. Wanting to grab a couple sticks for my return drive, I came by a short bit after the shop had advertised being open. Locked up tight and not a person in site. I waited an additional 15 minutes then gave up. I am in the area regularly now and always arrive well stocked as I cannot depend on this shop to be open when they say they will be. Social media has changed the face of getting the word out. So visit this place at your own risk. There is no guarantee it will open during posted hours. read more

Agree with the other negative comments in regards to the posted hours are not what they go by and on two occasions doors were locked during advertised business hours. Pretty good unprofessional but don't think he cares. read more

Nice selection, friendly help, prices seem reasonable, and close to home. What's not to like?! I anticipate a jump in business once the brewery down the aisle opens. In fact, they should partner with them to make a cigar friendly beer. (If this happens, I claim some credit!) Bonus points for being open late on a Sunday when the mood strikes and I want a cigar. read more

As a cigar smoker of 25+ years I appreciate a small local shop. Having lived in multiple states and been to all the trendy cigar bars and booze and smoke shops I appreciate a small shop with an owner/ operator that sticks to what real cigar smokers want. A nearby local place to get smokes, sit and smoke if you want or get a little advice on your lighter issues or info about a new smoke or one new to you. The owner I think his name is Mark is always pleasant and helpful and ALWAYS says thanks for coming in. If I ask a question he has a suggestion but doesn't try to steer me to the sale item of the month like other stores. While many new or trendy cigar smokers may want all of that jazz I appreciate an owner that let's me look, think and choose without trying to TELL me what I like. Hero's may be for you but I'll stick with the Cigar Depot. read more

Stopped for a cigar while I had some time to kill. Small local. Really good selection of cigars for the size of the store. Welcomed by owner and other clients. The place was full and one of the other clients made sure I got a chair. Worth a visit. read more

While the prices are close, perhaps a bit higher than another shop I frequent, my issue is with the fact that this is a hobby for the owner and not a business. I say this because today was the 3rd or 4th time I have arrived at the store at the time it was suppose to be open, and it was not. On at least 3 occasions, I sat for more than 30 minutes and still no one, the 4th he showed up and I mentioned to him about other being there and leaving. He was not that interested in that fact, it was more about how he sometimes stayed late, so it all worked out evenly. If you are going to have a business, then treat it like one. I have the option of going to the Arboretum to get my cigars, or to Cedar Park. I chose occasionally to shop at a more local store, but honestly, I will not go back. I like to be appreciated for being a customer. read more

Great local business with a friendly, knowledgeable owner. I've been in several times. The owner never attempts to sell or up-sell. He's happy to answer questions, but gives you room to browse. There are usually a couple of guests inside having a cigar with some relaxed conversation. It's a convenient place to pick up a couple of sticks or purchase accessories. While you may save a couple of dollars online, it's a business that should be supported by locals. read more

While living in Austin, I shopped here many times for rolling tobacco. It has a very small selection of rolling tobacco, which shouldn't be a big surprise because it's a cigar store. I only ever bought American Spirits, and they weren't always fresh. The owner is friendly. Sometimes there is a poker match in the shop. And other times people are just enjoying a cigar. read more

Let me state up front that I am a regular here. I have no connection other than that. It's the closest cigar store around, management is knowledgeable and friendly, and prices are reasonable. True, the selection is not as robust as some, but Mark knows what his clientele smokes and keeps them in stock and will put in stock if he knows you will be back to buy. He will also special order and give you a call when they come in. Other reviewers should lighten up. If the store doesn't have what you want, go elsewhere. No reason to vilify a merchant for running his business the way he sees fit, and successfully. read more
