I will never go here again- recently every single time I come here at least one of the escobars I buy either 1. Taste like shit (burnt) 2. Doesn't work at all AND the 3. Customer service and return policy is the worst They have told me in the past I could open each one and try it but when you buy several- that is absurd. I went back the next day one time and told them the problem and I asked where they got their product because I get bad ones from them often and they said their owned by Escobar. Which this doesn't make since, because now I buy mine straight from the Escobar site and don't have this problem. A younger skinny guy helped me my first time there - extremely knowledgeable, had been working there awhile and was aware of past and future probable product stocking, hooked me up with a fantastic vape in my price range... didn't rush me... I spent more than I would have with someone else surely, just enjoying the experience as I settled into what I thought would be my new vape shop (especially with the reward program). Employee should be a manager. The guys industry/product knowledge alone is a valuable asset. The second time was a little different. I was back to purchase one of the new products the guy had said would likely be stocked for the first time soon. A lady helped me. She was very nice and polite, but I didn't get the same vibe. I felt like I needed to tell her exactly what I wanted by name and swipe and go. Not an experience. Info was always asked for not offered. She gave me the wrong juice and when asked for recommendations... idk what she even said. Something like yea they all sell well. Cool companies. I'm trying to pick from like 50+ options. Wrong juice was a bit unfortunate. And I remember leaving, really wanting to purchase more things but felt like I was bothering her to ask yet ANOTHER subjective question... I just left. Absolutely worst vape store I've ever been to. They took my coil out of my smok tank. Matched it to a box of new ones, threw away my old coil away. I get home to pop a new coil in. Doesn't fit AT ALL. I go back up there at 9:15, they are closed even though the door says they close at 10pm I go the next day and they don't know what coil goes in it because I don't have the one I was using because THEY THREW IT AWAY My smoke tank is from 2020 So it's not like it was really old I ask for a refund and they said they can only do store credit Like if they don't have my coils what the fuck would I even buy from them Plus I'm just visiting from out of state Super shitty experience read more

I actually began by going to another vape store, but the employees weren't very helpful or as knowledgeable as the ones at Create A Cig. have been vaping about 7 years now, so I have seen a lot of changes and been to many vape shops. I visited this one because I happened to be near their location & I was tired of a leaking device. I was told about a much better one that doesn't leak and batteries are separate, longer lasting & can be switched out- done- sold! Walked out $150 later with device, charger (extra $), & an extra battery! (But no extra coils b/c they were "out")...Within less than 24 hours, unexplainedly, glass on my tank shattered- ok, I definitely didn't drop it! But, no prob, I'll just get new glass! So, I run over to the store & I'm told they don't carry replacement glass (??huh??!!), and they did try to fit some other brands of glass on my device- no luck. She called her manager & he reminded her to tell me I have a replacement glass in my kit. Another customer that was waiting said that he had same issue with another brand that had the "bowl/outward curving glass" and that his replacement glass included in the kit was switched out & no further issues. But, my replacement glass is at home... So I said "what do I do?!" "Replace tank"- ok... how much is tank, I ask... "oh, we don't sell the tanks, just the entire set"... WOW! So, I contact createacig.com and try to get a better level of customer service from them & it's been 4 days with NO response whatsoever... Saga continues.. I switch out glass & it oozes, I replace seal & it still oozes!! $150 later & I am stuck with the same issues I had before- except I can't get any replacement parts!! UPDATE: 2 months later- still NO response from createacig, from my call or review- I limped along with the replacement that came with my device that leaked & got a replacement glass for the ijoy, from another shop, then someone bumped the table and my device fell over.. This place is amazing. They have a wide range of all juices and can create almost any flavor you can think of. Nicole the manager and her staff are always so friendly and helpful. I work really long days and sometimes I go in there and say I have no clue what I want and they always start naming all there favorite juices off and knowin me and what I like they always recommend the best things. They remember what kind of tank i have and coils I need cause hell if I know. They are all just amazing. Nicole has really turned that place around from top to bottom. Honestly I expected more from this place, bought a groupon and the "manager" on duty had no idea what she was doing and was extremely rude. I will never ever go to this vapor shop again. It's sad because there is a lot of competition and they are by far the worst in all categories especially customer service and knowledge. Plus prices are way high a kangertech pro tank 2 for 24.99!?!?!?!? That's $6 more than every other vapor shop. And she didn't even know how to use the groupon and kept telling me I get 50% off what I bought and made me call groupon to get it corrected when she was the one in the wrong. 2 weeks ago I'd have given them 5 stars, but after my visit there last Saturday, I should give them the least amount possible. Therefore, I'm giving them 3. I went in several months ago for a new kit. I purchased the cool fire ace w/Nautilus tank & aspire metal cage because the "pen" shaped ones rolled off surfaces & the glass tank shattered. I really liked the set & the lady who helped me was so super nice & helpful. I thought I had found my new Vape shop. When I broke this one (my fault) I bought the same again & was so happy with it for a few months. There was a super nice trainee helping me as was the person training him. When this one quit after 1 drop, I went in to buy a new kit. There was a guy and a girl working @the time & they suggested an Innokin kit. Both so helpful & kind. He even tried to mimic my favorite juice from another place. Though the juice was not right, it was free because I was buying a kit. My new kit, however, was not awesome. It was constantly spitting juice so I felt I was drinking it & getting sick. If it sat on its side, it pooled juice all over the furniture it sat on. The coils always tasted burnt. Finally it gave out completely and wouldn't turn on at all. I went back w/in 2 weeks & the trainee from before was there, so I expected him to be at least be as nice as before. NO. He was an expert and I was some idiot returning my product. Mind you,I'd been using the same vaporizer for 3 yrs. before I came here & had purchased 3 new kits. He plugged it in & when it didn't work, he lead me to the counter & showed me the higher priced kit from the same brand. I said I wasn't happy w/ the 1st & didn't feel confident getting 1 from the same company. He got annoyed so I asked what he'd recommend- he said, "how would I know? Everyone's different-you are at 10 Watts & im at 100...." I asked if there's any that sell better or are returned more often? He said the one I was returning was returned often for not working & stared at me. I said, "OK let's just go back to the one I had before. I'll buy a whole new set." So I asked for the Nautilus tank again & metal cages because I don't want to break another glass tank. He showed me 1 that didn't fit. I asked to see the 1 next to it. He literally raised his voice at me & said it was the same 1 he just showed me & that they wouldn't be carrying anything like the vaporizer I'd had. I smiled & said that it was actually different-the're different patterns & sizes & I'd owned that 1, so I already knew it'd work. He literally laugh/ huffed at me and threw it on the counter saying, "It's the exact same one I just showed you!" When I connected it to the Nautilis parts, & it fit, he walked away. I gathered up all the parts & boxes and went to the counter and then he started getting really irritated that they'd charged me for the next kit up which was more expensive by around $10. I suppose I should be grateful he returned the faulty kit-return policy is 48 hours? I'd bought 4 set/kits from them this summer & 3 crapped out. My receipts don't make sense & I can't prove I bought the last kit cuz receipt shows 1 tank. Sorry! read more

The staff at this location is amazing. Knowledgeable, but not snobbish like other vapor shops in the cedar park area. They will help in any way possible. Customer service skills beyond measure with these awesome people. I make my own e juice, and this is the only place I will go for hardware or liquid if I'm waiting on a shipment. ***BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY****So I got my bf into vaping so he would stop chewing tobacco. Got him the iTaste clck and he loved it. A few days later his tank crapped out so he got a Protank 3 from Womp downtown. About two weeks later I went in after doing very heavy research an decided I wanted variable voltage and the Kangertech Protank 3 or the Innokin 30b tank. They said they had the Protank 3 and even in different colors. I chose the bluish teal tank. The first time we went it with my bf, his juice wasn't charged because he bought the set up. This time I bought my setup and I was charged for the juice. I got to the truck, started putting my coil in and realized the coil is the old style from the Protank 2. I also noticed how insanely different the tops of mine and my bf's tanks were. Packaging is the same and the could are different. His tank too is a dome and the tip and body matches, mine isn't a dome and the tip is much more dull in color than the body. My coils were the long Protank 2 style and his were the short Protank 3 style. After a good long soak and priming, from the start my hits were tasting burnt. After getting home and comparing packaging and inserts, we realized mine is a fake Protank 3 my packagin even says Protank 3 (mini) which if you look up is a completely different tank altogether. The word 'choice' is spelled choic in both of our inserts. The only thing that had me thinking it could be real is the scratch off authentication code on the side. Nope that was fake too. Apparently whom ever Create A Cig buys their stuff from are making knock offs. Come to find out, my bf's tank is an even worse knock off. We now boy our equipment and juices from a reputable shop down the street. I dumped over $90 in one trip just to find out it's a knock off. read more

So I pulled in to a handicap spot 30 mins after closing as the girl who was on shift locked up the doors to tell me at my dismay that they were closed for the evening. Might I add I had ran out of juice sat evening and had to be downtown at 8 am to work a 12 hr shift for sxsw and forgot my dripper as well to make things worse, so I resorted to god awful cigarettes all day. I pleaded with her to sell me something, keep the change and figure it out tomorrow but she held to her guns and refused. After smoking cigarettes all day, exhausted from the bar scene and disappointed from driving 25 minutes out of my way I proceeded to drive off saying I guess I'll just smoke another pack, she stopped me and said "don't do that, do you need some juice?" And offered me hers free of charge. Mind blown and flattered, along with being overwhelmingly happy she gave me her brand new 30 ml of Apple Jacks for free and have now fallen in love! Wife's first experience with vaping. I have quit off and on in the past. And thought I needed to quit again, wife wanted to jump on board. So we got to the store, jumped out and was quite impressed. The staff was nice, but I regret having the person that helped me. Let me explain. It was a kid, maybe in his early 20's late teens. He had just gotten hired a few weeks back. Didn't think anything of it, as he tried to upsale me on practically everything, just like a regular salesmen. Got the e-go c twists, two of them for my wife and I. Bought the tanks. Picked out our juice. Was told since we smoke roughly a pack a day, that we needed to do 24mg. Figured since they were supposed to know what they are doing to just accept. Started checking out. Ran my card. OH, he says. I forgot to get you the chargers. "...." So I had cash and paid for those with cash. We get home and fill them up and let them charge. Now as I've said I've quit several times in the past. The last time I quit I vaped. Couldn't remember what Mg I'm used though. Anyways, my wife, has never vaped and is still on the fence about it all. I drag off mine and of course get super choked up, but I remember that is common and just took about 5 more drags until I was able to handle it. The worst experience ever, but I could deal. My wife, being a first time vaporist, hit hers and almost died. I told her just take about 5 more hits and you'll get used to it. She takes the tiniest hits and still isn't convinced. Anyways, my complaint is this. I did my research after that and realized that the amount he gave us is for people that used to smoke 2 packs a day. He game us double the dosage we needed and now scared my wife into wanting to smoke again, just because she's scared to take another hit. Why is this kid helping first time quitter's? He needs to only help veterans that know what they want and learn how to handle people that have no idea what they want.
