I went to check if they were open but not yet. I went on their second day, then again on their third day open and I'm very happy. Not only is the owner and staff incredibly friendly and kind but they are very knowledgeable about the product and you can tell the owner has really put a lot of thought into making this a great dispensary in the Austin area. As someone who has frequented dispensaries in many legal states, this place is an above average option for Texas. They have a great local flower selection, vapes, edibles, and lots of other products with more on the way. I was never refunded my money, and then they charged my card once more! If that isn't shady, I don't know what is. To make matters worse, before I realized all of this, they had 7g for $60, and with my military discount, it should have been around $46-47. Due to a flaw in their system, I was charged $65.01. When I inquired about it, they informed me of some obscure rule they have that was never explained, nor were there any signs in the store indicating this rule. This is just downright shady business! First, just some logistics advice, the space is in building 2 of the cluster of buildings. And, even though at first it doesn't look like there is available parking, if you keep driving you will find a spot. The buildings are definitely older but I try not to judge a book by its cover. The location/space itself is for sure older. The bathroom is clean but very dated and the experience rooms are also clean but feel slightly cluttered. The waiting room is nicely appointed but it is also where some clients are receiving teeth whitening treatments so that is a bit strange. Check in is easy and streamlined. The desk staff are welcoming and friendly. My appointment was scheduled for 12:45 but I didn't get pulled back into my treatment room until closer to 1pm. I wish the service appointment reminders would have asked for me to come without earrings or necklaces, I would have taken them off and left that at home before going to the clinic, but instead I had to spend a good deal of time taking these all off before my appointment started. My treatment was very thorough and I truly did enjoy it. Although, at check in, I did indicate I wanted to have a quiet and relaxing appointment, because it was an intro session I got a full on interactive appointment explaining everything that was happening at every step of the way. While not my preference, I was still able to relax and enjoy the scalp treatment. The treatment itself was very thorough with many different steps and stages - all felt luxurious and not rushed. I definitely think that this space and the service provider are gems and if you can find a treatment on special, even better. It is quite far north of Austin (almost to cedar park) so if you're in the south like me just be ready for a drive to get there.
