I went into the store to look for a bag that I needed. They didn't have it in stock so they offered me a solution of more expensive package ...after I bought the bag,I walked to the door open while opening the box to see if it's the bag I needed ...which is not what I needed .....so I walked back up to the counter with the same bags. Went there to buy an esco bar since they allow you to test them in the store. It tasted awful and not how the esco bars should taste, so i asked the manager if it would be possible to exchange if for one that actually tastes how it is supposed to. He told me that you can only get a refund if the esco bar is defective (which at that point it obviously was), but before he even talked to me he was skeptical that i bought it there. I got some dragons blood here today, I'm very thankful for places where I can purchase these very valuable and sacred resins. My absolute favorite planet k to go to! It's such a convenient location since it's right off 35 and the staff is pretty helpful as well. I was walking by and was caught off-guard by the scent of patchoulli wafting in the air. What sort of store is this that has such earthy aromas, and very colorful cosmic mural art on its facade? The "K", I thought must be Vitamin-K, the nutrient found in leafy greens and so this place must be some sort of herbs and plant supply shop. Indeed it was! Inside I found the most colorful and psychadelic-looking collection of plant vases I have ever seen. Expertly blown glass and very creative shapes! They had intricate tubes and many different ways to put water in them. There was a particularly interesting mushroom-shaped vase with a devil girl on it--the guy tried explaining to me how it worked but he lost me when he started talking about how to do "monster rips". I also saw what looked like a hydroponic growing kit-- hah, good luck with that guys. Austin has great plant growing conditions, what would anyone need that for? I looked through the magazine section and found a gardening publication called HIGH TIMES. I had no idea Snoop Dogg was a gardener! He had the most lovely collection of what looked like thyme or oregano. How does he get it so green? The frustrating part was actually trying to buy some plants. I learned they don't actuall sell any plants there. They were super tight-lipped about it and I felt like I would get kicked out if I kept asking. Geez. All in all great store. Decent place to pick up stuff. I call it the Walmart I'd head shops. I'd rather go on amazon but if I can't then I come here. The reason I'm giving them a one star is because I called the shop before going to make sure they had a specific item. Guy over the phone tells me yes and I ask again to be sure since it the one on the other side of town I was just at was out of stock. Employee assured me they have everything in stock. I come and to my surprise they don't have it. I expressed my frustration with the employee at the counter and all he could tell me is he just got there and it must have been a new employee. Really I am only giving it two stars because of that cool woman that was trying to get me some service when I was trying to get some information on electronic cigarettes. She was trying to get someone to help me but some of the employees there were helping personal friends of theirs behind the counter and not anyone that was walking in and she got annoyed with them and said that they were being " fucking rude ass bitches." As the name was appropriate she than helped me herself which I thought was cool. The only reason I gave two stars was for that girl that helped me. Their electronic cigarettes selection was literally horrible but she then gave me a few other options. Really Planet K experience was really bad but she was awesome. I love Planet K and I've never been so upset to write a bad review of a place but I can't believe the experience I had here today. I spent a good half an hour checking out their pieces by the front counter and had to endure listening to the guys working there making totally innappropriate sexual remarks about their junk and a woman who had come in earlier for the whole time I was up there. My boyfriend and I were both incredibly uncomfortable as we were right on the other side of the counter. Absolutely disgusting. Not to mention their female coworker was behind the counter too, no doubt feeling just as uncomfortable as we did. read more

Granted, this is the only Planet K I have been to, so I can't compare it to the others. If you want to overload your senses, stop by Planet K. Before you even enter, you'll see an old painted convertible filled with plants out front. I think the car has melted into the cement and they have become one. The staff inside were friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. You do have to ask for many items they keep safely tucked away behind the counter and they don't have a huge selection of glass pipes, but the prices seemed okay. They've got gift cards, house decorations, cigarettes, magazines, books, sex toys, and a big live iguana in the back corner. I know there's a bunch more, but I couldn't take it all in. I picked up some incense and sage. Haven't used the sage yet, but the incense has been very fragrant and worth getting 25 pcs for $3. read more
