Go to shop. Have gotten all my vapes, and supplies here. BEST PRICE AROUND. I wouldn't go to any other shop after comparing prices with planet K and Oat willies he always comes in at least 10-15% under them! Also not sure why people are bashing him on here, he instantly said hi to me when I walked in, and was nice to me. read more

Double Apple Smoke Shop - His awesome collection of Halloween Glass Blown Designs. - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Austin, Texas

I came when it was 8:34AM, all of the led signs were on, place says they open at 7 AM. Not a single employee was in the store, and the door was locked. read more

Easily the weirdest head shop I've ever been to in town. After a couple visits, employees are always super standoffish, and last time it literally smelled like a sewer line had exploded, but did the employee mention or apologize? Nope they literally said zero words to us despite making a small purchase. No "hello", didn't say the total, didn't say thanks when we left, just stood there. So weird. read more

Owner saw me pull up in high dollar car & tried to sell me a vaporizer for 500$ - prob a 100$ device at most Then I bought a WULF for 160$ and found sane device down on gualuoe for 80$ Mohammond will over charge you - stay away unless u just need papers He said he would take care of me & overcharge me 80$ but gave me some shitty weed to try read more

Love this vape store, John gave me a really good discount. They are super helpful and they have the best deals in Austin. Will be returning read more

In spite of lackluster service and a lack of preffered product, shopped here enough to earn rewards due to the location. Oh, and the prices are essentially TWICE than at other shops (for the items I buy). They have a rewards program -- I earned a$5 reward. In fact it's been on my account for some time but the clerks never mention it at check out. When I asked to redeem it yesterday, I was told I must first spend at least $5 to get the $5 reward on screen--a reward that presumably to me was there because enough $ was spent to accrue it ALREADY. If it was a special offer of "spend $5; get $5 free", it would've said that on screen, would it not??? Another visit, the cashier was insisting that I had to provide a review in order to receive the points bonus (I pointed to the screen, read it out loud, and was handed the free item). Once the owner of the store huffed and puffed because he didn't want to deal with the change portion of the transaction. Plus a strong smell of sewage for weeks floods the store; disgusting, repulsive, and inconsiderate to your employees and customers to not correct the issue with urgency, which is what your employees have if they can't use the bathroom. Y'all really could do better. Disappointed. Once this place offered friendly service and more variety of product. Alas, I'll drive to PlanetK instead. read more

So I'll start off by saying this isn't really my thing. My brother is leaving the city soon and wanted to stop here to stock up. It's a really cool place with welcoming employees who are knowledgeable as well. Offered a discount if you buy a certain amount of product and were personable. Reasonable prices and good products. read more

Place is never open during the daytime they close when they want to if you ever need anything I mean you can't get it during their open hours cause you never know if they're open or not asked for a product that's been there for a year and a half, and they never get it back in and they keep saying they're getting it back just not reliable on when they're there or their products read more

Awesome customer service! The music was great too!

Being the only 24 hour vape shop near my office, I went there to get some vape juice. Very clean and super friendly. I half expected them to be all trendy and moody and that was just not the case. Amazing stock and varieties. Knowledgeable and informative. I will definitely be shopping there out of choice and not just neccessity that brought me there in the first place. read more

I moved to Austin about 6 months ago and just went in my 3rd and favorite smoke shop. I cannot say anything bad about the other ones. They all were super nice and had good merchandise. However, the vibe was just above and beyond. The guy, Mohammed, I'm assuming he was the owner but who knows, who helped me had a smile that lit up the room. He made me feel welcome, he was helpful and just seemed grateful for my business. On top of that, their selection killed it. I did not get a chance to really check everything out but it was expansive to say the least. I hope I will need something from them soon just so I can give more business. read more

Whatever IDIOT worked the shift on 11/30 at 10pm decided that he was going to hang the phone up on me when I had inquiries on a product at their store. When I called back and asked for his name he REFUSED to give it to me and continuously asked, "WHY,why, but why". I'm not sure what kind of business he's trying to run, but the customer service he provided was not only rude but it was DISRESPECTFUL. In the middle of my question he tells me he doesn't know then hangs up? Because he was so busy at 10pm right? Absolutely unacceptable. I will be sure to keep calling until I reach a supervisor and this problem is resolved because disrespect from a complete stranger at an established is completely unacceptable!!!! read more

Absolutely LOVE this spot. Literally the only smoke shop I've been to in Austin that has a full supply of everything you possibly need from vapes/flavors .. bongs..hookahs .. herbs and supplements.. cbd..YOU NAME IT! So glad I found this gem. It's crazy bc the reviews don't give this place proper justice, and they definitely deserve it. The owner takes great care of me every time I come by. He's even let me and my sister try three different hookah flavors he customized himself for review. This place is awesome and definitely number 1 in Austin! read more

See all

Best smoke shop in town! No outrages prices and actually HUGE selection of everything that comes to mind. The workers were friendly and gave me honest opinions, not just trying to sell. 10/10 recommend. read more

The guy working there knew exactly what I needed, he also didn't pressure me into buying the most expensive items when he could of. Im definitely coming back in the near future! read more

Marco was awesome great service im definitely going back. I'm making this my regular smoke shop

Started visiting this shop to pick up the occasional disposable vape. Every visit has been a positive experience - the staff are always knowledge and helpful - they always have what I need. Most recently, Marco had recommended a product with a larger tank at a better price with the same flavor profile that I was after - hoping to pick it up today! Definitely a great spot! read more

This review has been a long time coming. Mohammad has been taking care of my girlfriend and I for a good six months. This man knows every product inside his shop inside and out. I rarely use yelp, but his service is so consistently outstanding that I finally decided it would be a sin if I didn't leave him the review he deserves. Double apple has everything you need. I was hesitant to purchase CBD because of the fact that it's hard to know what you're actually getting but Mohammad made this process completely transparent and SIMPLE. There is not a better smoke shop in Austin and Mohammad is simply the best. He never pushes sales and he will always greet you warmly, with a smile. Prices are ALWAYS fair and if you are a regular, Mohammad will take care of you! The generosity on behalf of Mohammad has left a lasting and permanent impression. I will not go anywhere else in Austin! read more

Best smoke shop in town. I only smoke hookah, but I get everything I need here. Best prices BY FAR, also a great selection, every kind of coal you could ever want to try and the guy who runs it knows all there is to know. I get recommendations and answers every time I have any questions. Around here that kind of knowledge is gold. Most smoke shops only carry hookah stuff to pad out the title. I also appreciate the late hours. I often find myself in the mood for a smoke and out of something late. I can always pop down to the double Apple to pick up any last minute bits I need to get to business. read more

This place is awesome respectfully nice smells great great customer service clean cool

This is where I get all my hookah supplies, wouldn't shop anywhere else! They have a huge inventory and the customer service is always 5 stars! read more

Omg! worst customer experience ever. The store person is so rude and completely unprofessional. I am from Atlanta, GA and visiting austin for weekend and trying to buy a hookah pipe and i said the pipe's are expensive compare to Atlanta and he said "Go to Atlanta and get it". I'm like WTF ?? Glad i didn't purchase piece of crap product from him. I highly recommend y'all go to "International Food market" place which is a mile away from this store, i got the best quality pipe for best price. I will never again go to this place or i would recommend anyone to buy here. Worst place ever. read more

Favorite smoke shop in Austin ! Everyone that works here is very kind and helpful, and fun to talk to. Highly recommend Double Apple.

There's a lot of things I could say about this place but I won't cuz I still believe in small business but the owner is just rude and unprofessional, I walked in asking for a certain item, doesnt ever greet anyone when you walk in, he basically snapped on me because I was thinking about something to confirm with him. I now know why people insist on planet k, at least workers are friendly and patient. You would think the owner of the place would be appreciative of business instead he makes it seem like you're a huge inconvenience in his store, won't be buying from this place anymore read more

The worst place and person i've ever seen, i didn't have any knowledge of vapes so i told him I'm a smoker give me something helps me to quit smoking so he recommended the Vaporesso vape, i just used it for 2 or 3 hours and it didn't work for me,then left it in home and went to business trip for 5 days, i came back today and went to the store hoping that i can replace it with one of pods system that actually would work for me and i found exactly the opposite he was so rude to me and kept saying we don't return or replace any item, Guys avoid this store do not even think to buy anything from this store because he is a twisted guy.... read more

Love the staff here came here they were very knowledgeable and had the best selection of shisha, hookahs, and accessories! Went to multiple smoke shops and couldn't find the selection they had here and they were super friendly. read more

I give this place 10 stars for the friendliness and service. I'm brand new and needed the best advice for what I should I buy. He hooked me up with the abc's from start to finish on setting up and breaking down a hookah. I bought a beautiful Egyptian piece and the price was fair with a 7 yr warranty. No pressure, no upsell and they make you feel like your already friends. I can't imaging going anywhere else! read more

I just moved to this area and googled the closest smoke shops to my new home. I'm glad I didn't look up the reviews first because Double Apple Smoke shop seems sorely misrepresented. I was impressed from the moment I viewed this place from the parking lot. It is clean, bright, and welcoming. I was blown away by the beauty and size of the selection, and I felt that I was given the space to spend time admiring and selecting my piece. I appreciate the quiet, off-hands approach of the shopkeep. I'm happy I only live 5 mins away! read more

I've been here a few times since it's so close to my house. Half the time I go in they are talking to someone else, and don't acknowledge me for the 10 minutes I'm waiting until I leave. When I do get lucky and get service the prices are sometimes good and other times high depending on the product. If you have time to go anywhere there's actually multiple people working, I would do that. It's usually worth my time to drive the 5 minutes to Oat Willey's on Burnet if it's not rush hour. read more

Best vape shop in town. Variety of selections , all flavors of juices. Great customer service.

Mohammed was SO NICE and helpful!! Not only was he knowledgeable about products, he was so patient as we looked at different options. We never felt rushed, even with other customers coming in. He read the room and made sure everyone felt taken care of as they shopped. No pressure at all. Customer service through the roof! read more

Very nice place, friendly staff, and competitive prices. I recommend this smoke shop if you are in Austin

Extremely helpful with picking out a new hookah and potential flavor recommendations. Willing to answer any and all questions I had.

At first everything was good but when I got home my sheha was dry didn't have good flavor I'm not going back there again

Nice new smoke shop in the neighborhood. Family owned. Very clean with a nice section. One of the owners that helped me, Mohammad, was very helpful and friendly. Will be going back soon! read more

I purchased a hookah from here and my friend purchased a piece for the stem of her hookah. The store owner spent the longest time trying to convince her that it was the right size for her hookah and she assured him it wasn't. He wouldn't take no from her and she purchased it and it didn't fit as she thought. I came back a second time with that same friend and her boyfriend, who knows the employee. This time I came back to purchase another hookah and he was as unpleasant this time around as he was the last time. We all told him that particular piece did not fit and that another one he was trying to sell wouldn't fit either. He wouldn't listen to our concerns and kept trying to sell us on his products. I then went on to inquire about hookahs and he showed us one. He went to help another customer then came back while my friend's boyfriend and I were on the phone. He said he wouldn't match online prices and I said we weren't asking him to. He then cut me off and said, "Excuse me but I'm not speaking to you. I'm speaking to your friend." I told him I was purchasing the product and he said once again he wasn't talking to me but was to my friend'a boyfriend, because he has known him for awhile. And I told him that he didn't clarify who he was speaking to and he told me a third time it wasn't me. My two friends and I have never heard a store owner speak so rudely to a customer before. It was apparent to us all that he is extremely misogynistic since he kept telling my friend info about the product when I made it clear I was purchasing. He also only snapped at me and not the others. I've spent so much money here and told friends to come here but I will never step foot in there again. My friend who has also known him for a long time also promised he would never give him business ever again either, because that behavior was extremely unacceptable. Way better customer service in every other smoke shop in Austin. This one is definitely one worth avoiding, especially if you're a woman that knows your hookah. The store owner will just talk over you and disrespect you. I was about to support his hookah lounge near my apartments also, Mezze Cafe, but have decided against ever going there too. If customer service and product quality matter to you, then most other smoke shops will blow this one out of the water. The store owner is a complete misogynistic shame. read more
